06/07/2026: A delightful discovery in the historic center of Rapolano after a day at the spa for our anniversary. Attentive and professional service, extremely accommodating even to our two-year-old, something I never take for granted. Gianfranco, one of the owners, ensures a warm welcome without being intrusive. The cuisine is top-notch and inspired, a world away from the "typical" Tuscan restaurants. Excellent tartare and delicious fish-based pasta dishes. It was a real pleasure, and we hope to see you again soon!

29/06/2026: Il Granaio di Rapolano is a restaurant definitely worth a visit for anyone visiting Rapolano. We returned after a few years because we were so satisfied, and today it didn't disappoint: excellent dishes, professional staff, and a beautiful location with very elegant modern furnishings. We also appreciated the Cavalli-designed dinner service. Congratulations!

27/07/2026: Six of us arrived at 8, maybe even a little earlier, and they served us at 9:37. They sat us between their dog bowls and the bathrooms, on the gravel, in what is most likely a customer parking lot, but which out of greed they transformed into an outdoor seating area. For a good hour we felt like we were abandoned with a still bottle and a fizzy one on a table outside in a parking lot between the dog bowl and the bathrooms. Then at 9:37 the appetizers arrived: mediocre cured meats, including mortadella... on a bed of out-of-season fruit... (it should have been specified on the menu), and around 10 the other orders arrived. Some good, some less so, like the cheese and pear ravioli that they probably would have sent back to a hospital. The desserts were sold out, the rest were consistent with the above. Getting the apple cake wrong is sacrilegious. What I received was terrible sponge cake. Quality with a now-decadent scoop of something resembling ice cream. The apples? Maybe they slipped away, understandably. We would have done the same, but instead we went to pay the bill, where, despite holding up our table's order slip, the owner (?) asked us what we'd ordered, after we corrected him a couple of times about the quantity of the drinks. I'm sure we've had the wrong evening. But faced with such poor quality, an apology or some gesture of empathy would have sufficed... too bad, I'll definitely leave my table free for some passing tourist.

31/07/2026: Wonderful restaurant, without a touristic character and a beautiful view! What we tried was very delicious, especially the carbonara and the pizza with truffle!!! and for sweets the tiramisu and the panna cotta with caramel The staff is very kind!

12/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service, and especially the food. Absolutely not to be missed if you're passing through the Val d'Orcia. The first courses, in particular, are truly spectacular.

05/07/2026: Very good food and a quiet place to spend a lovely evening. We ordered a platter of house specialties, accompanied by an excellent red wine. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely return if we have the chance to pass through Castiglione d'Orcia again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I recommend it to anyone who wants something special, especially fish. But there are no limits; whether meat or fish, every dish is worth savoring. It's worth it... even just listening to the description... and in the end, you're always spoiled for choice. Always top-notch, one of the best cuisines ever.

26/04/2026: I only knew this restaurant by name, and mostly for its seafood. Excellent food (fish, of course), generous portions, excellent customer service, and a more than reasonable price. The only downside, but this is where parents come into play, was the proximity of a child who had been screaming all evening. Otherwise, a well-deserved 5 stars.

09/07/2026: When we got to the entrance, we wanted to leave. The place was really tiny. We didn't give in to temptation and went in. We did really well. We ate and drank really well. The waiters moved between the narrow tables without causing any disturbance. Quick, kind, and helpful. Congratulations

28/06/2026: Everyone is polite (owners and staff), decent menu, simple and tasty dishes, decent wine by the glass, the icing on the cake is its amazing desserts. I highly recommend the dolce della casa (the house dessert) with Mandola... It remains one of the best desserts I've ever eaten...!

26/06/2026: Went here as a recommendation from our hotel. Food and drinks were flavourful and fresh, service was lovely however a bit slow considering it wasn't busy. Atmosphere was average - no music or fans for a hot night out. Got back to our hotel to discover the bill did not add up and we were over charged exclusive of a service/table fee. Check your bill properly before you pay!

11/07/2026: We had a very nice dinner at Osteria Da Gano. The pasta cacio e pepe was amazing with a rich and creamy sauce, and the ossobuco was a flavour explosion with super tender beef. The service was also very nice! The street is super cozy with lots of nice bars and restaurants to unwind after a day of exploring Siena.

17/04/2026: My 13-year-old review needed updating to say that things have improved after all this time. A varied and imaginative menu that doesn't neglect Tuscan tradition. High-quality products, expertly and skillfully cooked, tasty yet delicate. Elisa is a thoughtful and kind hostess, as well as a first-rate chef. A well-stocked wine cellar and delicious desserts. Excellent value for money.

31/03/2026: A charming restaurant in a medieval tower. The pici with ragù and asparagus and the sliced ​​beef are excellent. Friendly and punctual service.

08/07/2026: In an area full of restaurants catering primarily to tourists, this is a pleasant exception. We returned two nights in a row, and the second visit confirmed the excellent impression. Carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and quality ingredients: more than just food, a true sensory experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the young woman serving is always kind, helpful, and attentive. The final touch: the excellent quality/price ratio. A truly worthwhile place that I recommend without hesitation.

12/06/2026: The food is incredibly delicious. We had the bruschetta, 2 pizzas, and coffee with dessert. After less than an hour, we received the bill WITHOUT asking. There was only a 1-minute gap between the bruschetta and the pizza. Tasty, but they had to rush; a real shame.
