18/01/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, right in the middle of a packed lunch. They welcomed me without any problems, and since I just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading out, they were very quick in taking my order and serving it. I had a herb-filled steak; it was perfectly cooked, well-flavored with the herbs, and a good portion. However, I felt the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, as it was a bit tough and took a lot of chewing, despite being perfectly cooked. Alongside, I had roast potatoes, also a good portion, perfectly cooked and very, very good. On a positive note, the bread was good, and so was the oil they serve, which was really good quality. Looking at the tables nearby, I realized that, when the place is full, the service can be a bit slow and distracted, but oh well, you have to relax at the table! Furthermore, reading their menu and philosophy, as well as seeing the dishes, I think their strong points are the appetizers and especially the first courses; all homemade. Even the "cooked" second courses are probably better than the grilled ones. Definitely a place worth saving and returning to when you're in the area. The prices are fair, on average, lower than many others in the area. What a discovery!!!

08/03/2026: Excellent osteria for sampling typical local products. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The grilled pecorino cheese is recommended, but everything else was delicious, too. Reservations are not accepted for lunch.

06/03/2026: We had lunch at this little osteria and it was a truly fantastic discovery. Almost all the products are locally sourced, incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients is simply undeniable! The service is second to none, and the location, in a small central square, is far from the hustle and bustle! I recommend anyone passing through to stop by this little spot. We'll definitely be back!

25/12/2025: I visited a winery hotel in Italy for my honeymoon. I'd definitely return. They gave me a bottle of wine as a welcome drink. I thought it was cheap, but even I'm not a wine connoisseur, and it was so delicious I'm buying it again!

12/02/2026: I visited La Griglia in San Gimignano and was very satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and helpful. The typical local dishes are carefully prepared and have an authentic flavor; I recommend the pasta with ragù and the steak, which was really well cooked. I also found the quality/price ratio to be good for the area. I will definitely return when I pass through San Gimignano.

20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.

02/03/2026: It was our first time in Rapolano and we decided to dine at this restaurant based on the good reviews. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The dinner was fantastic, with sublime flavors. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.

26/02/2026: We were looking for a Tuscan restaurant, and after reading several reviews and reading about the awards it had won, we made a reservation for lunch. The restaurant is located in the middle of the Chianti hills, with a very beautiful panoramic road. The restaurant has limited seating, which makes it even more exclusive and intimate. I absolutely recommend this place; the food is excellent, and the service is friendly and impeccable. A true gem.

05/03/2026: Very small but very welcoming place. You could eat there just for the friendly waitress, but we recommend it for the food, which is fantastic. The Florentine steak melted in your mouth, and the freshly made tiramisu was delicious. Great experience 🔝

20/02/2026: Very good local trattoria in San Gimignano. We were here in winter so about 80% of the restaurants are closed. How do you know this one was authentic? Packed with locals at 8pm on a week night. Must try if you're in the area. Sausages with tomatoes and tusan beans was delicious, will be thinking of this meal for years to come.

16/03/2026: Really an amazing restaurant, I cannot reccomment this place enough! It has perfect location, charming view from a romantic terrace, wonderful stuff (Antonio is really one of a kind, his English the best I ever heard in Italy in 20 years…) and the food we had was delicious. Actually I was blown away the moment we entered the restaurant, as the waiter was immediately helping us with the babystroller and tried to distract our baby girl from having a tantrum in pouring rainy day in Siena. You can tell they know how to take care of their clients! The service only got better as they were ready to help us choose and in perfect English. We tried the seafood and also the burrata pasta and it was excellent. We saw other dishes that made us sorry we were there just for one day… We enjoyed their desserts, wine and the caffè granita too. The rain gave us enough time to savour it all… And all this time we felt welcomed, our baby included. We had no idea the restaurant had an amazing view and were able to see it as our waiter invited us to enjoy it with their umbrella despite the rainy day. His colleague even offered some interesting information about the city when he saw me looking at the pictures of Siena… they were very welcoming and professional, really a delight that made our visit so much better. All of them, the italian mamma from the kitchen as well. We will be back and congratulations to the owner, you have a real treasure. (Honest review of a demanding guest who looks for how the best service is delivered, as I got spoiled in Costa Smeralda. ;)) I came back later when the rain finally stopped for good to see the terrace once again as Antonio suggested, to know what to look for on our next visit. 17/01/2026: A very welcoming location, truly fast and efficient service. A very young man served us, truly talented and attentive! And fortunately, there wasn't much buzz around, allowing us to converse peacefully. The dishes were carefully prepared and finally the right amount—let's just say they were generous in flavor, quality, and quantity. Not the usual expensive dishes that are tiny in portions! So, a fair price-to-value ratio. I won't attach photos, nor will I reveal what we ordered, because it's better to be curious and try! Thanks, I'll be back!

08/01/2026: Evening with friends after Christmas, good and varied seafood starters, excellent first courses and good seafood grilled second courses, satisfactory quality/price ratio, worth trying again.

16/02/2026: We ordered a plate of fries as an appetizer, but I didn't get a chance to eat them properly because the pizzas arrived shortly afterward (two minutes later), while the plates were still full. The atmosphere was very noisy, but the pizza was really good.

16/02/2026: The menu is vast and very good, the only downside is that the pizza is inedible, it looks beautiful with a nice crust, but the pasta is inedible.

01/01/2026: An enchanting place where you can feel pampered and immersed in Tuscan nature! Gorgeous and well-maintained rooms. We recommend trying the wine therapy, a real treat! 29/12/2025: A fairytale place, in the middle of the Sienese countryside, a little paradise on earth, the rooms are well heated and welcoming, the chef at the restaurant is exceptional, her dishes are perfection.... Very professional and available staff at any time, highly recommended!!!!

06/01/2026: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Definitely one of the best in all of Tuscany. Top-notch ingredients, sometimes even unusual ones. Excellent service.
