28/07/2025: Dopo una passeggiata ci siamo imbattuti in questo grazioso locale. Già da uno scorcio ci piaceva. Elegante e arredato con sobrietà e con arredamento d autore. Il padrone credo Gianfranco simpatico e molto sicuro del suo locale e del suo cibo Ed in infatti così è stato !! Cibo ottimo carne un burro, primi piatti eccellenti !! Piacevole pagare un prezzo un poco più alto del normale....ma almeno esci fuori contento soddisfatto e personale tralaltro super efficienti gentili e preparati Se ripasso da quelle zone...ci rivado

11/09/2025: Incredible experience in this little restaurant. I recommend it 100%. You have to book for the evening. It's not possible to book for lunch. The dishes are different from what we usually see in other establishments. The owner is great and very kind. €60 for two, having really tasted everything. I will come back next time with pleasure.

25/08/2025: It may be a bit of a drive to get there, but it's worth it. The place is modern and welcoming, but its highlight is the veranda, which, when the sun is burning, offers a view you won't pay for. The service, too, is the kind that puts you at ease: always a smile, kindness, and it's those little things, like the complimentary liqueur at the end, that make you understand they really care. Here they make the pizza Neapolitan style, with a delicate, juicy crust, not the thin, dry one you find elsewhere. Those who like it that way will find it here made to perfection, with Bahian stuff on top. Even the desserts are no joke. It's a sincere place, for everyone, where you can eat heartily without being flayed, and they treat you as you deserve. I liked it a lot.

25/08/2025: We came at Sunday evening without a reservation. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Ordered a pasta al cinghiale, pizza with salmon and a small salad, and a jug of red beer. The service was quick and polite, the food was really delicious. The place have some funny quotes or sentences on the walls. Really nice place, recommended.

26/07/2025: Reservamos una mesa en este hermoso restaurante por recomendación! Qué comida fantástica. Excelente servicio, Teenager tenía la hamburguesa que se veía y olía increíble, mi marido y yo teníamos la carne de res. Las comidas para adultos eran realmente deliciosas, hermosa carne de res cocinada a la perfección. El menú para niños era limitado pero delicioso. La elección del vino era extensa. ambiente en el jardín exterior era impresionante. Tristemente IT era nuestra última noche en esta zona, pero sin duda volveríamos cuando visite la zona la próxima vez! Gracias.

01/09/2025: A traditional trattoria with delicious, artisanal dishes, everything is expertly homemade by Mara, the owner. The service is fantastic and welcoming; we had a wonderful evening. Truly unbeatable!

20/08/2025: The location is truly evocative, it takes you back in time. Tartare with egg mimosa and pici cacio pepe e lime were truly delicious. The bartender and the ladies at the counter were truly friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back, a wonderful experience.

17/08/2025: The steak is a fiele mignon, the best part of the tenderloin, and I recommend it in truffle butter. Bistecca ala fiorentina—several types of beef with skin and fat—I don't recommend it.

10/09/2025: Excellent dinner at this osteria in the center of Chiusi!! The traditional dishes are delicious! The crostini with chicken livers, pici all'aglione, and tozzetti with vin santo are exquisite! All topped off with the extraordinary kindness and attentiveness of the owner!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

03/09/2025: Very delicious! We weren't that hungry so we shared bruschetta with pate and tuna pizza and had some white wine. All was very nice 🩷 the place also looked pretty and was cozy

16/09/2025: What was supposed to be a romantic evening with my husband on our first night in Siena during our honeymoon turned out to be a major disappointment at Vivace Ristorante. We had made a reservation for 7:30, specifically hoping for a table on the terrace with a beautiful view overlooking Siena. Instead, we were seated at a less-than-ideal table, and the staff made no effort to offer a warm welcome. From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt uninviting. The service was extremely slow. It took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, the dishes were mediocre at best. Honestly, my grandmother’s recipes back home are far better. To make matters worse, the head waiter was shockingly rude—not only to us but also to his own staff. Having worked in food service for over 10 years, I could clearly see how poorly he treated the servers, and it was uncomfortable to watch. The only kindness we received that evening was from the younger staff, who tried to make up for his behavior. One moment that really stood out was when my husband tried asking a simple question about the area. Mid-sentence, the head waiter interrupted him, walked away, and never returned to finish the conversation. It was dismissive and incredibly disrespectful. On top of everything, one of the first things we ordered was bottled water. It never came, yet we were still charged for it. When we tried to get the head waiter’s attention to address it, he blatantly ignored us, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. If you are American—or really any tourist—avoid this place. It feels like a tourist trap with overpriced, average food and unfriendly service. Siena has many wonderful restaurants with genuine hospitality—unfortunately, Vivace is not one of them. :-(

16/09/2025: The service here is terrible. We booked a reservation and were given the worst located table at the restaurant. The wait staff treated us as a chore and were very unorganized. We consistently saw food that the staff did not know where to run it to. The food was mediocre and took about 1.5 hours to serve a pasta dish. If you are American avoid this place, they simply do not care.

05/09/2025: We came to this restaurant attracted by the name and we were not wrong! One of the best Florentine steaks I've ever tasted, tasty and perfectly cooked! The appetizer and side dishes were also excellent, all with friendly staff! Well done!

10/08/2025: unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food, we arrived after a day of traveling and ate everything like hungry dogs. but the food was really delicious and the desserts were completely out of this world. the restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay extra for quality if you get adequate service. I highly recommend visiting for a romantic dinner.

09/08/2025: Fine dining at its best. It was an absolute highlight of our vacation; fantastic food. Excellent wine with a very good selection. Extremely friendly staff. A highlight for us in the San Gimignano area.

The service was attentive, kind, and professional, and the whole place has a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Every detail reflects quality and care. 27/08/2025: Just a superb dinner in Tuscany. The best we had in Italy. Beautiful setting too (we sat on the outdoor patio). The food was incredible. Highly recommend the pomodoro, pici all'aglione, tagliata and tiramisu. All fantastic. Can’t recommend enough!

14/09/2025: Had lunch. Very busy but gave me table inside. Seated right away but was told to wait 20 minutes to order. No problem for me and then totally ignored after served Told woman and she could care less. Better restaurant next door. Solo travelers do spend money

11/09/2025: Super welcoming atmosphere, very kind and professional staff, we ate very fresh fish. All the dishes were very well prepared and tasty. We will definitely be back.
