08/07/2025: El ambiente era muy tranquilo y relajante, las mesas estaban limpias y bien colocadas. El amable personal nos dio una cálida bienvenida y nos dio suficiente tiempo para elegir nuestra comida de la selección del menú. El servicio fue excelente y la comida sabrosa y bien presentada.

01/07/2025: Incredible. A bit more secluded so perfect for a quiet and delicious dinner. Also just a 20m away from the lively Piazza Della Perra for some after dinner drinks! I had some amazing lemon and rosemary beef, with a house red. It was so tasty! 10/10 would recommend.

27/08/2025: I ordered a Pisan pizza in Pisa, in the Piazza dei Miracoli, and they brought me a Margherita with two anchovies and two very salty capers on top. Instead of mozzarella, which shouldn't have been there, there was a kilo of unworthy stringy cheese. As I ate it, it got tougher and tougher, until it was a dry crust by the end, reminding me of reheating something in the microwave. The marinara risotto was soggy and tasteless and cost 18.90! This is a tourist-ripping restaurant where the food is also terrible. I don't recommend it. Go to Via Santa Maria if you want to stay in the Torre area; there are many restaurants, and better ones.

25/08/2025: The service was impeccable. The staff was very efficient, brought our food quickly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, everyone was very friendly and always had a smile on their faces.

28/08/2025: The worst carbonara we've ever had was simply pasta with scrambled eggs. All the dishes were bland, completely unseasoned, and tasteless. Only the pizza was good, the only dish worth recommending. The service was very average; I wouldn't recommend it.

11/06/2025: I went in with my husband for breakfast. We each chose a portion of a chocolate and hazelnut dessert thinking it would be excellent, but unfortunately it was practically inedible since both the cream and the pastry seemed to be made of rubber (probably not recently prepared). We left very disgusted. I hope it was a coincidence, but I will definitely not return.

31/05/2025: A wonderful cafe near the main street, great atmosphere, quiet. Friendly service, delicious coffee, affordable prices - what more could you want?! 😉

18/08/2025: I stayed at Villa Nencini and was truly thrilled. The location is perfect: just steps from the historic center of Volterra, yet nestled in a tranquil setting with a splendid view of the Tuscan hills. The property has an authentic charm, with spaces that retain the typical atmosphere of a Tuscan villa. The rooms are comfortable and clean, some with truly breathtaking panoramic views. A highlight is definitely the pool, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to welcome you with a smile and offer helpful advice to make the most of your stay. In short, Villa Nencini is the ideal place for those seeking authenticity and relaxation, all just steps from the wonders of Volterra. I will definitely be back!

09/08/2025: A lovely hotel for relaxing. About a 5-minute walk to the center of Volterra. We booked with breakfast included. Breakfast was okay, but the service left something to be desired. Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

01/06/2025: Sehr freundliche und nette Bedienung welche auch super mit den Hunden umgegangem ist. Sehr liebevoll und spielerisch mit den Kindern, dass diese soch direkt sehr wohl fühlen. Herne wieder!

14/08/2025: We had risotto with zucchini flowers and pistachios, tagliatelle with duck, and chitarrini with ragù. Everything was delicious, and the staff were friendly.

10/08/2025: This restaurant has two entrances, one facing the Roman theater and one in the historic center. Traditional cuisine, including delicious chicken liver crostini and the earthenware ragù. The pistachio risotto is truly excellent, and the spaghetti alla chitarra and tagliatelle with duck ragù (perhaps a bit bland) are also very good. Excellent tiramisu. The price is reasonable.

03/06/2025: Ci sono luoghi che sono veri e propri rifugi dell’anima. Ogni volta che varco la soglia mi sento a casa. L’atmosfera è calda, intima, curata nei dettagli. Il personale è accogliente, sorridente, gentile, professionale. La cucina è un viaggio tra sapori familiari e sorprendenti. Ogni piatto racconta una storia ed è preparato con ingredienti freschi e con evidente passione. È una coccola che mi faccio volentieri appena ne ho l'occasione.

04/05/2025: Abbiamo passato un sabato con pranzo cena , pernottamento e la domenica a visitare gli animali e mangiare veramente bene . Poi vedere animali allo stato brado , con pascoli e boschi molto curati fa bene al mondo ! Cibo strepitoso . Menù a pranzo con antipasti primi secondi e fiorentina di toro, in location molto curata con tavoli apparecchiati elegantemente. La sera menù di carne con pizza al padellino o pizza classica.

17/08/2025: Although I hate to give such a low review, I have to give it 1 star. Tonight we wanted to eat pizza with the family, and we decided to try Neccio. We called and ordered five pizzas for takeout, to eat them at home with the family. I got to the pizzeria on time with the reservation, but my dad waited about 45-50 minutes for the pizzas. We paid full price for all five, despite the long wait, and even though the pizzas were pretty awful (to add insult to injury, I'd give the pizzas a 5/10 at most...). Even though it was hot, the crust was rubbery and the mozzarella was almost untouchable... (I'm talking about the Margherita). The white pizza with mushrooms was *slightly* better. I'm very disappointed.. 🫤

17/08/2025: Takeout pizzas; truly poor quality. The dough wasn't rolled out well and wasn't evenly cooked; let alone the poor quality of the tomato and mozzarella I tasted. The dough was also rubbery and tough. The order was prepared late by about 45-60 minutes; this delay forced me (due to unstable commitments) to eat around 11:30 PM, which was when I finally got rid of what I couldn't move.

10/05/2025: Di passaggio da Pisa all'ora di pranzo e dopo aver consultato TA abbiamo deciso fermarci a mangiare in questo ristorante appartenente al famoso attore Roberto Farnese. Si trova nella zona industriale e a poca distanza dall'uscita dell'autostrada. Davanti c'è il parcheggio privato è sulla parete esterna del locale ci sono delle gigantografie dell'attore ( piacevoli 😊). C'è anche lo spazio per tavoli all'esterno ma vista la stagione non era allestito. L'interno è arredato in modo gradevoli con tavoli all'interno e in una veranda spaziosa. Il menù a pranzo offre un menù fisso e a' la carte. Il punto di forza del locale è la "ciccia". In un banco frigo sono esposte dei bei tagli di bistecca e visto passare dei bei hamburger. Abbiamo preso dei bigoli cacio e pepe- buoni - e un tiramisù della casa sfizioso e molto buono. Le porzioni sono giuste e ben presentate. Il servizio è stato rapido e gentile. Non ci sono barriere architettoniche.

10/09/2025: I had been motivated to visit this restaurant. However, I didn't get to go in due to a deeply uncomfortable situation at the entrance. The server in charge of welcoming customers behaved inappropriately: he made suggestive comments about my body and offensive gestures that violated my dignity. When I complained, the employee responded with mockery disguised as humor. This type of behavior is not only unacceptable, but also contradicts the minimum standards of respect and professionalism expected in any establishment serving the public. I regret that you were unable to enjoy the dining experience, but I consider it important to warn other visitors about what happened. I hope that management will take corrective measures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.
