27/07/2024: Arrived with the camper, the location, perfect, the first communication, great. Check IN was 3 p.m., we were there at 1:30 p.m., we were supposed to choose a place and check in later, no problem, we chose a place and set everything up. At 3 p.m. to check in, we were told (by another lady) that we weren't allowed to stop, there was no reason for that! We refused because we set everything up with the camper and relied on the word (think the early shift) that we could stay for 1 night. After some back and forth, it was 7 a.m. until the next day. It was ok for us because we just wanted to see the Tower of Pisa. Basically, I have to say, the (late shift) was very unfriendly. The place was empty, no one there! I didn't understand the whole thing. Above all, it's no effort, as there are no toilets, no showers... we just stood there. No service, apart from emptying the waste water tank and refilling it with fresh water (which wasn't the best, very brown water) It's a shame, a really nice, quiet place to spend a few days... if the reception wasn't so unfriendly. Unfortunately it destroys a lot.

22/07/2024: Excellent room, rich breakfast buffet also with local products.

16/08/2024: To be on the safe side, we made a reservation and were neatly escorted to our table. Nice location on a beautiful square with a nice atmosphere. The service was good, calm and very attentive (and neatly dressed). As a pre-order we ordered some dishes to share. Very tasteful! The children had one of the homemade pastas (tagliatelle and pappadelle) as a main course, we opted for a tagliata funghi & arugula. You were politely asked how you would like your meat prepared. Everything was very tasty, all plates were empty! As a side dish we had grilled vegetables and baked potatoes. All in all, we had a nice dinner at a nice restaurant with cheerful service. Would definitely come back here again if we are in the area!

16/08/2024: If you have allergies, intolerances or you want to replace an item on your pizza, you’ll be paying a huge surcharge. Our pizzas ended up costing 21€ and 19€ after we asked to replace cheese and meat with more vegetables, furthermore I can’t eat tomatoes so I didn’t even have sauce on my pizza. These substitutes were seen as extras instead of replacements. I have not experienced this anywhere in Europe, huge disappointment.

23/08/2024: Excellent food quality. We tried all kinds of dishes, seafood, meat and pizza and all were very tasty and well cooked. Very reasonable prices. Nice sweets and impeccable service from the staff, who were all Italian and very kind. We were in the area for a week and since we discovered it, we haven't gone anywhere else. Recommended. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they had fans outside for the hot days.

22/08/2024: Got takeaway. Terrible food, stringy fried fish (of which I attach photos), Seafood salad that tasted like fish from the day before (definitely NOT FRESH) the quality is definitely not worth the price you spend.

30/05/2024: Place with great attention to detail, with very detailed and refined furnishings in the room. The owners are two cheerful and very kind people. Excellent coffee and fabulous homemade biscuits, made with genuine products and with a unique flavour. Chosen for a coffee break but also excellent for quick lunches and certainly also ideal for aperitifs.

24/04/2024: Very pleasant terrace in the shade of jasmines, friendly service. Cuisine: tourist trap, the pea cream ravioli had no taste.

14/04/2024: SCANDALOUSLY SMALL PORTION. The menu was very limited. We wanted to avoid meat which left us with only 3 options already. But when we requested them, two of the three items were not available. They didn't mention anything about the unavailability when offering us the menu. We went for the Spaghetti which took them 30 minutes to prepare. And when it finally arrived we were astounded by the portion size - it was ridiculously small! I won't make any attempt to hide my disgust - if a restaurant serves such miniature portions that forces diners to search for more food immediately after coming out, because it wasn't sufficient even for a 7-year-old child - there is some brazen deception going on that needs to be called out. The quality of the food was also subpar. It has been a complete waste of our time and money.

21/04/2024: Everything I mean by a successful meal. Super tasty food, great, relaxed and helpful service in a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious food. We hope that we will see each other again soon. Many greetings from Petra, Andreas and of course also from Fiocco.
