12/05/2025: Big disappointments awaited us. The exterior looks great and clean in the Tuscan style, but the interior is horrible. Dirty carpets that have not been beaten for xy years or vacuumed, furniture extremely old, the rooms overall seemed outdated and not preserved. There was a musty smell, old age and dirt everywhere. The handle on the door to the bathroom and the toilet creaked so much that I think you woke up the people in the next room, you had to press the toilet 4 times for it to flush. Big disappointment! The location is fine, but the equipment is substandard. Honestly, I wouldn't even stay for free. Dirt, smell, malfunction. Breakfast very poor. And what about wifi - totally non-functional. We were accommodated right at the reception, room c. 15 and wifi not working. So don't count on it. This service is down.

14/01/2025: I stayed in this hotel for two nights in an economy room. Cozy hotel with a lobby with fireplace, clean and tidy. The economy room is basic in terms of furnishings and bathroom but with everything you need for two nights. Average breakfast, friendly owner. Excellent location to reach the center of Volterra on foot without moving the car.

05/05/2025: Delicious pizza made in a wood oven but they shouldn't burn it because it's bad for you, burnt food is carcinogenic, I love everyone even those who have hurt me so much, but don't eat burnt things if you love yourself! 😘😘😘

30/01/2025: An elderly gentleman who makes pizzas in a wood-fired oven and makes them in the pan that any grandmother at home uses, you can't call me pizza for 2 reasons: 1 you can't taste the flavor and crunchiness of the stone heated by the embers, it's 2 because they make the pizzas so small that in real pizzerias they're baby and in the end they cost too much for their quality, I completely screwed up.

24/05/2025: Uselt kött, dålig service! Köp pasta eller annat men köttet var riktigt dåligt tillagat. Vi beställde entrecote men fick någon form av sämre ryggbiff. Sämsta restaurangen under vår vistelse i Italien. Det finns massa bra runt omkring. Kör på det.

22/04/2025: Andati nel giorno di Pasqua… un pranzo a dir poco eccellente, prodotti di ottima qualità, dall’antipasto al caffè! Personale estremamente gentile e cordiale che ci ha consigliato anche dove parcheggiare! Posizione ottima, a due passi dalla torre! Consiglio antipasto toscano e fiorentina divina… per non parlare della pastiera!

05/05/2025: We had dinner in this place on 05.03.25, in our opinion the dishes (pizzas and mussels) were average, the service was adequate... the place was very dated... especially the services... (... inadequate to say the least...) very touristy. Adequate quality/price ratio.

17/05/2025: Quando si dice mangiare in piazza dei miracoli….ecco, questo ristorante è veramente a pochissimi passi dalla piazza. E’ un continuo via vai di persone che si fermano a mangiare in questo ristorante dove effettivamente si mangia bene. Vincenzo, il cameriere che ci ha servito, è fenomenale, sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Noi abbiamo preso due primi di pesce ed una frittura da condividere. Piatti generosi. Un piccolo appunto: la pasta presa da mio marito era un po’ troppo al dente!!! Prezzo nella media considerando la centralità del locale. Servizio veloce. Complimenti!!!

05/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati vedendo le recensioni su google. A 2 passi (letteralmente) dalla torre, abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Tutti gentilissimi e anche molto veloci nel servirci. Piatti fantastici! Si sente che hanno usato ingredienti freschi: tagliere delizioso, come anche i primi (cacio e pepe, e lasagna). Per la posizione inoltre, non abbiamo neanche speso tanto: antipasto, 2 primi e acqua 25€ a testa

30/04/2025: Insospettabile pizzeria a due passi dal centro cittadino. Buona accoglienza e, nonostante la data prefestiva, ci trovano il tavolo e ci fanno accomodare. Discreta scelta di antipasti, pochi primi e secondi, spettacolare scelta di pizze. Mia moglie ed io abbiamo preso due pizze diverse e tutte e due hanno soddisfatto le aspettative; impasto eccellente, buona la cottura, buoni i prodotti scelti per i condimenti. Il servizio è attento, cordiale, veloce. Lo abbiamo scoperto per puro caso ma se ci troveremo in zona sicuramente torneremo.

06/04/2025: Pranzo nell'ambito di un raduno di auto sportive Sicuramente ci sono stati diversi disguidi nell'organizzazione dell'evento, ma onestamente erano anni che non mangiavo così male per una spesa assurda di 75 euro a testa

10/03/2025: Restaurant bezocht in september. Wij waren misschien iets te vroeg, want we zaten tijdens het hele etentje helemaal alleen in het restaurant. Dit was wat ongemakkelijk. Het eten was wel echt overheerlijk en wij hebben het nog steeds over de rosbief op pizzadeeg. Dit is echt een aanrader. De pizza was ook super lekker. Het uitzicht vanaf het restaurant is ook erg mooi. De weg er naartoe in het donker vonden wij wel wat spannend

28/05/2025: Traditional around the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but nothing exceptional. Be careful, we're not sure it's a tourist trap, but there are better options nearby. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly, which is a given in a tourist city. Expect to pay €20 to €25 per person, including a drink and a maximum side dish, if you order alcohol, of course. We weren't disappointed for dinner, but the food wasn't a wow factor.

20/05/2025: El servicio aquí es absolutamente horrible. Esperé 10 minutos antes de que nos ofrecieran bebidas y fue camareras absolutamente muertas simplemente decidió hablar entre sí antes de que le diéramos a saber que nos gustaría pedir. La comida era mediocre y el ser atacado por pequeñas moscas simplemente lo remataba. Comimos nuestra comida y pedimos la cuenta al instante para salir. No recomendaría.

25/04/2025: Locale situato in ottima posizione tra la stazione e all'inizio del corso, E molto accogliente perché si pranza sotto un pergolato fresco. Anche all'interno è arredato con gusto, Il servizio è giovane, informale e cordiale, Buone le pietanze assaggiate di giusta quantità e realizzate in maniera non tradizionale mischiando diverse cucine e diversi ingredienti. Carina anche la proposta di centrifugati.

06/04/2025: Location carina, porticato ricoperto da piante, bell’atmosfera con la musica di sottofondo. Personale attento e carino. Cibo invece da rivedere, non ci tornerò. Inoltre abbiamo chiesto del pepe che non è mai arrivato.

02/05/2025: Price-quality ratio is hard to find. A hamburger without bread is still possible, but presented on 1 lettuce leaf with fries next to it for €15. And for €5, three flakes of truffle on top. The meat was poorly seasoned. In short, not recommended.

21/09/2024: We ordered takeaway pizza after reading the positive reviews. Unfortunately I have to say that frozen supermarket pizza is a thousand times better. I'm giving one star because I can't give 0.

06/05/2025: It depends what you want. This is small nice village. Kinda Tuscany experience. We might overlooked but the restaurant was closed. The brekfast was nice. 1st day we arrived at 8 am, and we could select from variety of food. 2nd day at 9 am and it was poor.

21/12/2024: Very terrible place, poor service, bad management and very dishonest. Rooms were leaking and nothing was done about it, My whole family caught a very bad cold and we checked out after a night and had to book elsewhere. they refused to refund our money and lied to booking.com that they fixed the issue. Danger zone stay off!!
