The staff was very attentive to our requests.
The room was very pleasant.
The view was magnificent.
The private parking was really convenient.
And the grounds were very beautiful, well-maintained, and clean.

22/03/2026: I stopped in at this restaurant today for an expresso. It wasn't a bar/cafe so they don't serve drinks without a food order. The gentleman saw the disappointment on my face and said, "ok, I'll make you one". He made this Canadian's day. Such kindness was very much appreciated by this lass!
28/02/2026: February 2026: Best pizza in Volterra. Crowded with locals who grew up with pizza. Interesting menu with many, many different interesting pizzas (none with pinepple and/or french fries). Moderate prices, friendly service.

31/07/2025: Locale accogliente e tipico delle colline toscane, vista mozzafiato, si gustano prodotti locali specie a base di carne e buon vino, i primi piatti sono ottimi come gli antipasti. Il personale molto gentile e veloce nel servizio. Che dire è un locale da consigliare anche per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
28/06/2025: Da un ristorante ci si aspetta rispetto, rispetto per il cibo, rispetto per la clientela e rispetto per il contesto. Dovrebbe essere tutto correlato, e la mancanza di rispetto per uno di questi tre aspetti, si porta automaticamente dietro la mancanza di rispetto anche per gli altri. Siete in un luogo magnifico, a ridosso di un bosco ricco di biodiversità, tra le colline toscane incontaminate. Ci si aspetterebbe un servizio adeguato al luogo in cui avete la fortuna di essere. Sparare musica (per altro orrenda) a decibel decisamente sopra i livelli consentiti, disturbando, danneggiando e involgarendo il territorio non vi fa onore.
Mi auguro chiudiate presto e che il luogo torni silenzioso e rispettoso della natura.
Un ex cliente che vi stimava quando stavate in paese e si sbagliava.

But always a different waiter/bartender, prices never the same.
I recommend a larger plate for an aperitif, as the leftovers will be thrown away. It's better to finish everything.

12/01/2026: I visited this restaurant and was impressed by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The menu is excellent and offers a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. The value for money is simply incredible; you can't find a better place in the area.
The staff is friendly and professional, always ready to offer advice and customize your meal to your needs. The cuisine is fresh and creative, with dishes that showcase local flavors and high-quality ingredients.
I especially recommend trying the daily menu, which is always a surprise and a delight: generous for €18. The service is also very fast and efficient, despite the large number of customers.

03/01/2026: Way too expensive, 18 euros per person for 4 people. On top of that, they charged us for something we hadn't even ordered... We ordered 1 Margherita pizza, 1 portion of ravioli, and 2 breaded cutlets for 98 euros... A blatant rip-off... The waitress took my plate away when I still had the last piece of bread in my mouth; it was practically like they were kicking us out. I asked if they were about to close, and she said no... The food wasn't great... only the location is perfect.
02/01/2026: We visited this trattoria on December 27, 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The lady who served us came across as unfriendly and grumpy, which affected the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, there was a €4 coperto per person, which was quite high. Overall, this did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to return.

18/01/2026: The atmosphere is very refined, well-furnished, with spacious rooms and a beautiful outdoor space complete with a pool and ample parking. It has enormous potential, but it's been poorly exploited.
Pizzas with a tough dough (like unleavened bread), and a seafood main course with frozen, not fresh, ingredients.
The restaurant's veranda is cold; some of us dined in our down jackets (January).
The service, however, is professional, with a very knowledgeable and attentive young woman.
06/01/2026: I hope it was because it was New Year's Eve because the food was all cold and without soap, the environment was also cold and to top it all off there wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on the table to toast.

22/02/2026: The restaurant next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a convenient place to eat after visiting the pizzeria. The pork was good, but the slices were very thin.
14/02/2026: I was there on February 14, 2026, at lunchtime. I ordered a seafood soup, and it was one of the most delicious soups of its kind—a pleasant surprise for a place that initially seemed a bit unappealing due to its ambiance. The subsequent dishes were nothing short of excellent. And I can't forget to mention the simple French fries; they can brighten your whole day when they're perfectly cooked and fresh from the fryer. I highly recommend this place in the heart of Pisa's tourist district, near the majestic Leaning Tower—a hidden gem with great food.

The food was excellent: delicious lasagna, amazing cod, perfectly cooked beef, and the desserts were fantastic—I highly recommend the apple tart and tiramisu.

28/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this is to prevent others from wasting money on a business that doesn't deserve to exist. I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant in my life. The chef and owner should do some soul-searching.
02/11/2025: We went for lunch today, there were six of us and a five-year-old. I give one star because it's the best. It was an embarrassing experience.
We sat down and ordered four appetizers, a penne pasta for the child, and six first courses.
45 minutes for a platter for four and 50 minutes for the child's pasta.
A small platter for four people, and they forgot the cheeses. After another 40 minutes, the first courses hadn't arrived, and I went to report it.
I was treated rudely by the owner, who raised her voice in front of everyone, embarrassing me. In short, she was rude.
A second later, the pici arrived, which were barely edible and cold.
We went to the cashier, paid, and spent €194. As we leave, we complain among ourselves, and the cook makes a "quaquaqua" noise while sneering. After the crap he'd served, he should have put down his apron and moved on to other jobs, just like the owners, who weren't able to handle the situation.
Please, you guys, avoid it while you're still on time.
