A very charming place in the historic center of San Miniato. Francesco, the waiter who served us, despite being the only one in charge of the interior and exterior, was very attentive and efficient. The truffle crostini and artichoke tagliatelle were my favorite dishes.

Passing through the little town of San Miniato, we stopped for lunch at Trattoria Canapone. We were greeted warmly by the manager and server. We sat outside to dine. My husband and I shared the melon and prosciutto to start. The melon was a canary melon, so sweet. I love the sweetness of the melon against the saltiness of the prosciutto. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and hubby had the Tortelloni Bolognese for lunch. Both dishes were delicious. Hubby’s actually was amazing! I’m glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. Molto Buona!

Welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff, a waitress with a good sense of humor, even a witty one, always ready, and the owner (cook with his wife) is very friendly and approachable. The truffle crostini were excellent, as were the first courses. Then we moved straight on to dessert, and that too met our expectations.

I visited this place in late September 2025. Excellent selection of traditional Tuscan food. I had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of fresh battered fried porcini mushrooms and an excellent tiramisu. The place is a bit small but very welcoming, with wooden tables and chairs. The €2 cover charge includes a tablecloth, cloth napkins, and bread. The restrooms are clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Ristorante Bar B & B Le Torri

19/03/2026: It's been a while since I've been there, but I have wonderful memories. It was a difficult time for me, with my father's health problems, so I stayed there alone for a long time. The room was cozy, with a double bed and a single bed, and a bathroom. Besides being a B&B, there's both a bar and a restaurant. The food is excellent and there's a great variety. There's a large green space outside. What can I say about the owners? They're adorable. They welcomed me and treated me like one of the family. During that time, I never felt alone, but rather part of them. Even today, after all this time, we still keep in touch with each other. I recommend it if you're visiting Pisa or if you need to accompany someone to Cisanello Hospital (it's within walking distance from the B&B). So, a super positive review ❤️

15/02/2026: We were only there for a cappuccino early in the morning. Therefore, I can't comment on any of the dishes.
08/02/2026: We went there on a winter Saturday morning, without a reservation. We found a table easily, and the place was quiet (except for a few customers' dogs). The place isn't very spacious, but you can get in. There's only one bathroom, so when it's crowded, there might be a long line to use it. The waiter is friendly and very kind. The food is really good and, above all, plentiful; you definitely won't leave feeling hungry.
