15/02/2026: Booked by my sister for lunch on Sunday, affordable prices but poor quality food, I had an anonymous appetizer and some spaghetti with swordfish which were very unhealthy, almost inedible, the rest of the dishes that I only tasted did not seem great to me apart from the stockfish which perhaps could have passed, negative experience, I don't know if the management has changed because I had been there in the past and the food was better

21/02/2026: The pizza has a very crispy edge. I've been here several times and highly recommend it. The downside is that there is a 2 euro table fee and it's close to the train station. It's a mixed bag at night, so be especially careful of Italian thieves.

30/10/2025: Truly Exceptional – Warm People, Beautiful Setting, and the Best Lasagna I’ve Ever Had We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Ristorante Etruria in Volterra. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness. They immediately brought out a bowl of water for our French bulldog, Luigi, and treated him as if he were their own. It set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in Italy. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside – classic Tuscan charm with elegant stone arches, warm lighting, and tasteful décor that feels both refined and welcoming. You can tell it’s a place that takes pride in its history and hospitality. I ordered the lasagna, and it was simply perfect — rich, delicate layers, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, it was as good as the best I’ve ever had anywhere in my life. My wife had the tagliatelle al ragù, and it was every bit a 10 out of 10 — silky fresh pasta, a sauce bursting with depth and authenticity. The service was exceptional throughout — attentive without being intrusive, and filled with genuine smiles. What made it even more special was that the owner personally followed us out as we were leaving to thank us after we told him how much we loved the meal. That kind of heartfelt appreciation is rare and unforgettable. Everything — from the food and wine to the atmosphere and hospitality — was pure Tuscany at its finest. If you find yourself in Volterra, do yourself a favor and make this your meal stop. You’ll leave full, happy, and feeling like family.

03/01/2026: They are closed and they write that they are open. A person goes a long way and then they are closed. Very good.

30/12/2025: Closed at 1:30 PM, but it says it's supposed to be open until 3:00 PM! We came here specifically for this.

The staff is young and friendly, and the owner is genuine and sweet, proud of his Greek origins. We had the pleasure of exchanging a few kind words and hearing some interesting facts about his country's history. The portions were generous and well-balanced, and the flavors were delicious and very authentic. We ordered a mixed appetizer, which included a bit of everything, accompanied by pita bread and an excellent, creamy, and flavorful tzatziki. The main courses were also completely satisfying! We'll be back!

13/07/2025: Excelente comida a un precio razonable, de gestión familiar. Andrea es Italiano de tercera generación dirigiendo este restaurante. Gran servicio y comida! Teníamos pastas, parmigiana de berenjena y ñoquis. Teníamos pastel de abuelas y tiramisú de postre que eran excelentes. Este tiramisú fue diferente a otros que hemos tenido en nuestro tour de comida y vino de Umbría y Toscana, que termina en Roma. ¡Ambos fueron increíbles! Sin duda recomiendo este restaurante!

24/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic place almost by chance, and I must say it was a delightful surprise. The restaurant is small, but impeccably maintained and managed. The menu isn't extensive, but each dish is carefully crafted and carefully crafted: there are options for all tastes—vegan, meat, and fish. A special mention goes to the crostone, truly exquisite! The wine selection is also excellent, varied and high-quality, perfect for pairing with the dishes. The service deserves special mention: friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. You can immediately sense their passion and love for their work. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience—I'll definitely be back!

06/06/2025: Mein Lieblingsrestaurant seit 1981 - mit 5 war ich zum ersten Mal in der damals ganz neuen Trattoria, die sich im Laufe der Jahre zu einem hervorragenden Restaurant mit lokaler Küche entwickelt hat. Es gibt keine „Spielereien“ sondern das pure Geschmackserlebnis aus besten lokalen Zutaten. Und alles hält die wunderbare Irma zusammen. Der gute Geist und die umsichtige Chefin.
