03/05/2025: We came in on rainy saturday night with no reservation. They gave us a table and served us perfect food, excellent meat, the most friendly service you can imagine, so that we felt at home the whole evening at our first visit at Giglio

17/04/2025: Just a nice, well-kept place...excellent service....seafood salad too much fish: not bad, but if there was a bit of celery, pepper, fennel, in short, if there was a bit of salad it would have been better. Crostini nothing special....edible however the gocchialla crab meat was good and the meat was very good.....fair price....definitely to return and truly recommended.

23/05/2025: First time in this place. Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and attentive to customer satisfaction (we were asked several times if everything was okay). Fast service, even though it was Saturday night. Very good pizza, light, well cooked, with fresh and quality ingredients. The dessert in my opinion was not up to the level of the pizza. We will definitely be back.

08/05/2025: We ate here tonight. The food, the service, the atmosphere is excellent. A short walk away from the front we found the real Viareggio. Well worth a visit.

03/05/2025: We keep coming back again & again 🫶🏻 The restaurant is very cozy & comfortable. We choose it by coincidence and we felt very happy. We eat pasta and it turned to be and excellent choice. I tried panna cotta and was amazing too! We loved to come back next day but unfortunately Monday it’s closed. Very friendly stuff and keep eye on you also on busy hours! Well done 👍🏻

18/05/2025: We end up at Cavallino Bianco by chance, tempted by the typical dishes of Garfagnana and... surprise! We are catapulted to Naples! Gennaro, histrionic host, cook and waiter, overwhelms us with his enthusiasm and hospitality. We try grandma's meatballs, delicious, Neapolitan lasagna (for those who don't know them, the advice is to ask them to describe them, they are delicious, but far from the Bolognese ones), excellent, and the caprese cake, which is served hot, graceful. Gennaro insists on us trying his babà, which is a work of art. Excellent prices. We will definitely be back, even with friends.

25/04/2025: Posto panoramico nei pressi dell' eremo. Si può raggiungere a piedi o in macchina. Porzioni abbondanti e gustose, servizio alla buona come deve essere in una trattoria che sembra a condizione familiare. Abbiamo preso piatti a base di trota perché per noi è una cucina non usuale.

10/03/2025: Io e mio marito abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso, eravamo di ritorno dalla Grotta del vento. Un locale conduzione familiare delizioso e immerso in un'oasi di pace, proprietario e personale gentilissimo e molto cordiale. Abbiamo mangiato prodotti a km zero, squisiti e abbondanti. Un antipasto con salumi e prodotti locali e due primi al ragù di trota, veramente delizioso. Prezzo onestissimo, ormai molto raro. Sicuramente ritorneremo.

31/05/2025: Every year, in the summer, I return to Lido di Camaiore and this pizzeria is now a fixed stop. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the quality of the pizzas is truly excellent. Since I cannot eat gluten, I think it is fantastic that they also have a gluten-free option, the vegetable pizza is simply delicious, with fresh and tasty ingredients. I can only recommend this pizzeria...

04/05/2025: Beautiful discovery in this little village. The food is really good. The cheese starter is superb as are the first courses with wild boar and roe deer. All excellent and really well done. We didn't have the second courses but the meat dishes that were displayed among the various tables were really inviting (to be returned to try). The lady who served us was very kind and nice. Good service. Excellent quality/price ratio.

04/05/2025: Three stars because the mixed fried food was quite good, otherwise two stars. Ordered €35 ​​menu with 4 starters of which only 1 was passable, tasted paccheri with scampi too raw and barely warm for me, tasted spaghetti with clams with almost all the clams without shellfish but hot and always, for me, hard. Good mixed fried food with vegetables. Normal tiramisu. House wine not very good for me. Service too fast... paccheri and spaghetti arrived at the same time. I wouldn't go back.

03/05/2025: Very bad experience. Cost of starter excessive compared to quantity and quality. Very greasy mixed fried food. Tagliolini alla pescatore didn't have much flavor. Excessive presence of garlic and oil in all the dishes offered, guaranteed night-time fatigue.

06/06/2025: Seafood restaurant at the end of the Viareggio promenade, on the port to be clear. They have two seats, one on the veranda and one on the port (very romantic and suggestive) but I recommend booking. Very kind staff, they even gave me a discount at the end! A half appetizer, two fish first courses, 1 still water, half a liter of white wine, a sorbet and two seats €60 (€30 per person). The cacciucco and pasta with clams are delicious. I recommend this place but I recommend booking, Thursdays in June are packed! Imagine in August!

22/05/2025: We were a bit early, a few minutes before opening time, but we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to sit at a table. The menu is also available in English and the waiters speak more than enough English to be able to explain. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, the service fast, friendly and polite. We were not very hungry, so we stuck to two pasta dishes and a dessert. Although this is different from what is usual in Italy, it was no problem at all. The food was excellent and very tasty. The portions are large. The price-quality ratio is above average.

18/05/2025: English: We had a communion and there were about 40/50 of us. The food was good, not very good but I don't feel like complaining about that. The worst thing was the table service: we asked FIVE times at long intervals of a total of 2 hours of waiting to lift a blind to avoid getting the sun full on our heads. In the end when they did it the sun had literally moved (it does it in two hours) and therefore it was annoying again but after 5 times what do you ask? They made us pile up the appetizer plates in a frenetic and disorderly manner and when we asked to clear the table they started to remove the appetizer plates with the food still on them... One person asked for another bottle of wine but they gave him a different wine so it remained on the table. Furthermore, the spaces inside the restaurant are incredibly narrow, you can barely walk between the tables and not only at ours which, since there were so many of us, was understandably narrow, just in general.

16/05/2025: We had a wonderful lunch on the upstairs balcony. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The first-class service (thanks Ilir and my colleague) deserves special praise. We felt very comfortable on our 10th wedding anniversary! Grazie, thank you, and Faleminderit! 😉
