11/09/2025: Service, food, atmosphere...everything perfect!

06/09/2025: Poor food with olives harder than rocks, terrible service (the waitress got the wrong dishes and overcharged us), you're better off going to the restaurant next door. P.S. We were told the dish was ours, and only after we'd eaten it were we told it would be charged, so there's no point in making it seem like we stole something that wasn't ours. 😐😉 Guys, those olives were truly inedible.

11/10/2025: Excellent quality and warm hospitality, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. We dined as a couple on a Saturday night without a reservation, and they seated us right away. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: Really nice place. We met for lunch during the Corchia Park open day. The organization was top notch. The food was excellent; we tried the Tordelli, a typical local dish. Everything was very good.

14/09/2025: We took a trip to enjoy the dishes at the Raffaello Hotel restaurant once again. Today, I'd say it was too salty for my taste (but only because I don't like salt too much). The service was quick and impeccable, and the staff was polite and friendly, ready to explain the ingredients in the various dishes. We had lunch on the veranda overlooking the green Versilia mountains, just a few hundred meters from the starting point for the Antro del Corchia cave. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food, and why not... perhaps even take a nice walk through the greenery.

06/10/2025: We had 2 drinks mid afternoon, they were very nice, but no table cover, no napkins, no aperitivo snacks and we were charged a 6€ cover. First time anywhere in Lucca with a cover charge for having a drink, And first time having nothing else provided.

14/09/2025: Honestly, I'm still looking for burrata on our pasta. After a question, "Where's the burrata?" The server brings us burrata in a tube, we're dreaming... And I'm not talking about cherry tomatoes, etc., etc.

04/10/2025: Superb hospitality, noteworthy homemade dishes. We absolutely must try the tortellini with ragù, tagliatelle with cacio e pepe, roast suckling pig, and tomato salsa verde.

27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.

21/09/2025: Last night we discovered a real gem near the Darsena in Viareggio. The restaurant is striking for its elegance right from the entrance: it feels like entering the hall of a starred hotel, with rooms designed with attention to every detail and fine materials everywhere, from the floors to the coverings. After the welcome, you are accompanied to the upper floor: a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, covered but with a sliding roof, which opens based on the weather. Unique, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The tables are well spaced, which is rare and much appreciated. The menu is limited, but studied and based on very fresh raw materials: the catch of the day is visible on display on the ground floor, on ice tubs in view next to the kitchen. The wine list is simply endless, with the sommelier ready to guide you in the right choice - we relied on him for a Vermentino, very spot on. Impeccable service, kind and prepared staff, ready to answer any questions. Yes, the prices are those of a high-end restaurant... but so is everything else. An experience worth every penny. Perhaps one of the best restaurants in all of Viareggio. We will be back.

16/09/2025: It was a lovely restaurant situated just in front of the marina, and definitely nice to have a table upstairs with a view of the water and the yachts. However, they tried to give us a table in their less attractive verandah (with this harsh lighting) which we refused, and were then seated inside the main hall though in a corner a bit far from the nice views - and exposed to second hand smoke because they allowed smokers to smoke in the verandah next to us. I think many of the nice tables were for couples or 3 pax. And we were 4. However, the service was friendly and efficient and the food really very good. We came here for the seafood dishes and every one of them was nicely executed and presented. They also had fresh porcini options (it’s the beginning of the season), which we would have been tempted to try if not for the fact that we really came to have seafood. A good address.

29/09/2025: The place is nice but the price is too high for the food. The desserts are not very good. The fried food is not bad but very expensive.

21/09/2025: We had the best meal here in Lido di Camaiore. Even though the prices are on the higher side, in retrospect, it was reasonable. The food was incredibly delicious, the service very friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. We would definitely come back.

11/10/2025: For me, it's always top-notch, but I recommend not going on Saturday nights... because if they want to have multiple shifts, the service gets slow... and the wait times are long! Not recommended if you have children...

22/08/2025: I think it's good for tourists who might not be able to distinguish the quality. - Traditional appetizers, I found the portions embarrassing, and the quality seemed like it was from a supermarket. - First courses were cold and tasteless. - The 1 kg Florentine steak seemed much less to me, thin and overcooked! - €120 for two first courses, an appetizer, and a Florentine steak, plus a glass of wine. The only strong point is the location, but it's not worth it!

20/09/2025: There were six of us, and we all had a wonderful time. This historic restaurant in Pietrasanta continues to combine tradition and innovation. The fish and meat dishes are excellent, and the service is friendly, courteous, and punctual. Interesting wine list.

18/08/2025: It was probably an unlucky evening, but I have my doubts. An interminable wait to order and be served despite the restaurant not being packed. Liver crostini served on cold bread, not even toasted. Everything else was average. A tourist restaurant that describes itself as traditional.
