19/05/2026: An inn with numerous rooms, you could easily get lost in it, then the magic: excellent, plentiful, and delicious dishes, carefully explained. It was a continuous crescendo from appetizers to first courses, main courses, a tender and flavorful slice of steak, and finally, exceptional desserts. When I saw the bill, I felt positively faint. I realized that Florence, where I live, is a super expensive city. There are also places like this where the prices are fair, the atmosphere healthy and cheerful, and I'll return as soon as possible. Thank you.

07/05/2026: We had lunch after visiting the Calomini Hermitage. Dishes were prepared with farm produce. The food was generous enough to satisfy at least two people. Everything was delicious at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: I was here for lunch with my children and grandchildren, and we ate outside under the gazebo. With a view of the mountains that I've loved so much since I was a boy. A special place that's always been close to my heart. But let's move on to the food: what can I say, impeccable, everything very well prepared, both the first and second courses. The tagliata literally melts in your mouth. The manager is a friendly person who's a pleasure to chat with. Recommended.

26/04/2026: Rather than having a star rating, it should be protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The food was excellent, the restaurant was very elegant and well-kept, the service staff were extremely efficient, and the price/portion ratio was excellent, which is not to be underestimated these days. Always recommend generous portions, I'll keep an eye on you ;-) Thank you, and keep up the good work.

26/04/2026: A memorable dinner at L’Antica Macelleria in Pietrasanta! We had a wonderful Florentine steak, truly delicious, cooked to perfection: tender, flavorful, and of exceptional quality. A splendid bottle of Tenuta San Guido wine paired it, making the experience even more special. The restaurant is centrally located, and the outdoor seating creates a delightful atmosphere, perfect for enjoying dinner in the heart of Pietrasanta. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Tuscan meat and flavors.

06/05/2026: The food was partly good, partly unenjoyable. My tartare tasted a bit funny, the ragu Tagliatelle was nice, there were olives inside which didn't particularly serve my taste but generally it was ok. My partners ribs were a big mistake - very hard cooked with barley any mean on them - after we complained, the dish was not added to the bill, which I found professional. Prices on the higher side, staff was polite.

04/06/2026: A SEAFOOD TRIUMPH WORTHY OF THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE GOOD 📜 During my travels, I had the supreme privilege of sitting at the table of this elegant banquet, where fish is treated with the respect due to sacred things. As my compatriot Pellegrino would have stated in his 1891 manual, cooking is naughty, but when it is based on raw materials of such sublime freshness, it can dispense true happiness. The furnishings and aesthetics of the room are admirably decorous, offering a refined atmosphere that prepares the mind for a dinner from another era. Here, table hygiene, economy of expenditure, and good taste blend in perfect harmony, offering an experience of supreme well-being for body and spirit. A solemn applause must be given to the young staff, capable of providing a warm and attentive welcome, making the diner feel pampered and divinely served. Among them, special thanks go to the steward Giovanni, a true master of the art of serving, without whose courtesy and wisdom the dinners at this osteria would not have the same splendor. It's true that the final price accurately reflects the nobility of the food and the attentive service, but it is money spent with the finest judgment. The wallet feels a slight relief, but the stomach is heartily grateful, and the night passes in the most peaceful and digestible of slumbers. A must-visit that deserves the most sincere applause. 02/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience! We were greeted with great kindness and immediately made to feel at ease, allowing us to enjoy an excellent lunch on a holiday. The meat was simply fabulous, excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Special thanks to the waitress, very kind and always attentive, and to the manager, super friendly and courteous, who helped create a truly pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back very soon and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile.

02/05/2026: We had a truly excellent experience at Ristorante Antico Caffè del Sonno. After an embarrassing and unacceptable situation caused by a serious service issue elsewhere (at Bidiba, where we'd initially planned to go, the lady on the phone had taken our reservation without informing us that they would be CLOSED on the requested day: we were coming from Livorno...), this restaurant literally saved our day. Despite the hour and the difficulties, they welcomed us with great availability and professionalism, allowing us to salvage a birthday party that would otherwise have been completely ruined. The food was excellent, carefully prepared and of high quality, the service attentive and friendly, and the hospitality truly impeccable. A place we not only recommend, but that fully deserves a top rating. Thanks again for turning a difficult day into a pleasant one.

17/03/2026: Good traditional restaurant. Loved the decor, like stepping into a 1915 inn. Open at lunch! Which I love :) Not too many items on the menu, but vegetarian options are present. My party had lamb, carpaccio, tortellini, bietola and chickpeas, all quite nice. Carpaccio was best, good quality. Prices are a bit on the high side. All in all, nice ambiance and attentive service (a careful young waitress was attending on us, but I must also say that the restaurant was almost empy, maybe because it was a tuesday at lunch).

21/11/2025: Exceptional experience, we went for dinner. The food was excellent. We chose classic pasta dishes like tordelli with ragù for starters, which were delicious; and something different, like paccheri with sausage and goat cheese, which were also delicious. But there were many other dishes on the menu. The main courses were all very good, too: fried lamb cutlets, fried chicken and rabbit, and the beef tartare; side dishes included fried artichokes, chips, and a pioppini mushroom and potato flan. For dessert, we had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, peach sorbet, and crème brûlée... all delicious. Generous portions, kind, friendly, and attentive staff... a family atmosphere. ...It was a lovely evening, definitely worth repeating! I highly recommend it!
