25/05/2025: Universo 24 is absolutely amazing. It has definitely won my Swiss heart. I love having an aperitif there, looking out at the beach, and enjoying the sun. They have great music, and the staff are excellent. Very friendly, cheerful, funny, and very attentive. Definitely my first choice if I come back for another holiday. The food is amazing, the drinks are fantastic; I highly recommend the mojito. It's my favorite here in Lido di Camaiore. 24/05/2025: We came from Florence to Lido di Camaiore and had dinner here… An experience we will remember!! The food was excellent but our biggest compliments go to Marina, the waitress who looked after us, very nice, very helpful and competent.

11/05/2025: Hotel in the center of Castelnuovo Garfagnana, a medieval village worth visiting, advises motorcyclists to exit the motorway from Aulla and take Aulla Castelnuovo with hairpin bends and spectacular curves for motorbikes

E se fosse stato caldo ci metteva il ghiaccio,,,,,mi sono permesso di fare notare al cameriere che l'amaro del Capo va servito freddo di suo senza aggiungere ghiaccio..........la sua presuntuosa quanto scorretta risposta è stata che in Toscana si beve così........ risultato finale amaro caldo.....due mini porzioni di dolce..... prezzo finale troppo caro Vorrei solo segnalare al titolare e al suo dipendente che i non toscani in una località turistica il più delle volte sono coloro che creano un indotto economico........ allego foto dal sito ufficiale amaro del Capo per la giusta precisazione

27/05/2025: I didn't like it at all. It was very expensive and poor, especially in terms of quality. The waitress, who speaks Spanish, was very friendly.

26/05/2025: Last Saturday evening I wanted to try the renowned Ristorante da Giorgio, which I have never tried before despite having lived in Viareggio for a few years. That evening, despite having booked, I was not feeling well and did not have much of an appetite. My partner and I decided not to order wine to drink (which we practically always do because we are both teetotalers). Both at the table, the waitress and at the cash register, the owner, made us feel bad about the fact that we had not ordered anything to drink other than simple still water (0.65 cl) for a whopping €8, as can be seen from the receipt. Despite the dinner being very light, with just one appetizer, two first courses, a dessert and a piece of fruit, we spent a whopping €50.50 each (yes, because discounting that euro on the receipt and making the calculation even would have turned the evening's takings into the red, who knows). Cover charge €10 for dry bread from at least the day before and a narrow table where if I moved slightly with my chair I would hit the chair at the table behind me.. In short, I don't want to honestly say that the fish wasn't fresh and/or of good quality at all but the prices are absolutely disproportionate and not justified. The icing on the cake is that an acquaintance who went to dinner this evening at the same restaurant for an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and even a passito paid €50... so the question is this: does the owner set prices based on the mood, the day or the friendliness of the diner? If it was a way to make us understand not to return, we will certainly accept the invitation!

18/05/2025: I returned after 29 years, the atmosphere has (rightly) changed a little. The food is a little more refined but still excellent.

15/05/2025: If you are a tourist who doesn't know what Tuscan cuisine is, it could be fine. Otherwise, avoid it. Portions are embarrassingly small, waiters are rude, and the bill is very high. The only nice thing is the place, but next time I'll look at it from the outside before sitting down and spending €40 per person (it was €38 per person but the lady at the cashier rounded it up to €40 without offering either bitter or coffee).

02/06/2025: My experience was very negative. The service was really bad, the staff was very rude and not at all attentive to allergies, both things that do not put the customer at ease. The food is mediocre, not worth the price. I ordered a tuna and white onion pizza, at this request the waiter initially had something to say saying that the pizza was only red, unfortunately for him I am allergic to tomato and once I explained the reason he could not do anything but fulfill my request. After more than half an hour the pizza arrived, already cut using a tool used to cut other pizzas with tomato. Luckily the part was limited to the edges of the slices and I limited the problem by cutting where there were pieces of tomato, fortunately nothing happened. If I had sent the pizza back, as I thought of doing, who knows how I would not have been treated. In short, in 2025 if I tell you that I am allergic you must write it down and take all the precautions you can, I would also add that to work with the public you need education and cordiality first and foremost.

03/05/2025: Found it advertised on social media, an unexpected discovery given that it is difficult to find excellent restaurants in everything. They have proven themselves masters in making innovative and above all unique dishes; the skill was demonstrated in making combinations of flavors that were unusual but very pleasant on the palate. The only note is to point out in the menu description all the ingredients present: in the guinea fowl rolls dish, a wafer, I presume chickpeas, was added and raisins in the rice pudding. Personal premise, I liked these added ingredients, I recommend it only for people with allergies. I will definitely be back to try other dishes! Conclusion.... congratulations to both the kitchen and dining room staff. Location with attention to detail and equally particular.

17/05/2025: We visited Lucca for two weeks. This was our favorite restaurant/bar! We stopped in on five occasions…sometimes for drinks and snacks, other times for a meal. The food was great and the owner and his wife were so lovely to us. We highly recommend this family owned business and we will miss being at this wonderful location. Will definitely return!

04/05/2025: small but welcoming place; However, it has several tables outside. very good pizza and focaccia. first inviting. they also have burgers (not tried). very good desserts. Courteous and pleasant staff.

11/05/2025: Having lunch with you today we were very satisfied with the quality of the fish, the right portions and the very kind staff. The price is in line with the quality of the dishes we consumed. We will definitely be back.

05/05/2025: Unfortunately disappointed despite high expectations; food good and well prepared but not at exceptional levels. Excellent wine list. Inaccurate service. In my personal experience, the year 2024, my wife's birthday, I booked the birthday cake and a bouquet of flowers on the restaurant's website and paid the advance; at the time of dinner there was no cake, no bouquet of flowers, nor did they see that I had paid 150 in advance. Unpleasant indeed, and birthday ruined. The very kind owner apologized by giving away a bottle of medium quality champagne but it certainly doesn't solve the problem. Average high price. To be reevaluated
