A truly wonderful experience! We were greeted with great kindness and immediately made to feel at ease, allowing us to enjoy an excellent lunch on a holiday. The meat was simply fabulous, excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Special thanks to the waitress, very kind and always attentive, and to the manager, super friendly and courteous, who helped create a truly pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back very soon and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile.

We had a truly excellent experience at Ristorante Antico Caffè del Sonno. After an embarrassing and unacceptable situation caused by a serious service issue elsewhere (at Bidiba, where we'd initially planned to go, the lady on the phone had taken our reservation without informing us that they would be CLOSED on the requested day: we were coming from Livorno...), this restaurant literally saved our day. Despite the hour and the difficulties, they welcomed us with great availability and professionalism, allowing us to salvage a birthday party that would otherwise have been completely ruined. The food was excellent, carefully prepared and of high quality, the service attentive and friendly, and the hospitality truly impeccable. A place we not only recommend, but that fully deserves a top rating. Thanks again for turning a difficult day into a pleasant one.

We ate typical Garfagnana products and had a great time. The owner is very welcoming and carefully explains the menu, giving you the impression that he really cares about making you feel at home and enjoying your meal. The service was quick and attentive.

Very good food at more than fair prices. A freshening up of the space and a bit of lighting wouldn't hurt, but the welcome was very friendly and authentic.

Tagliatelle with nettles and chestnuts 🔝

Typical restaurant, very welcoming, excellent food, all homemade, from the tagliatelle, the tortelli with ragù, delicious desserts, tender and tasty meat, side dishes where the flavor of the garden vegetables dominates... Thanks for the good lunch even if we arrived late. EXCELLENT

We were there on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and we had the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which were spectacular. Excellent service.
