A historic pizzeria and restaurant in Bagni di Lucca, run with passion by Ilario and his staff. Their menu features meat, fish, and local mushrooms. The fillet steak with black truffle from the surrounding hills is excellent. Good value. In the evening, the wood-fired oven serves excellent pizzas for dine-in or takeout. The wine list is interesting.

Today, the grilled meat was bleeding. We pointed it out, but the older gentleman said, "We're used to blood here." We paid the bill, but my wife left hungry.

A very authentic restaurant, beautifully and comfortably furnished, and the food is typically Tuscan and very delicious. The owner is very attentive and a very friendly man. You immediately feel at ease in Ristorante del Sonno. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there several times during our stay in the area.

We ordered a lot of things, I don't even remember the names, but they were good, all of them really good! The owner is a very nice and funny man, and he also explained the history of the restaurant to us. All the staff was very welcoming and kind! In short, perfect! 😘😘😘
A truly wonderful experience! We were greeted with great kindness and immediately made to feel at ease, allowing us to enjoy an excellent lunch on a holiday. The meat was simply fabulous, excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Special thanks to the waitress, very kind and always attentive, and to the manager, super friendly and courteous, who helped create a truly pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back very soon and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed with a smile.
