I was at Il Porto this evening. I had a wonderful experience, from the service to the food. The maître d' welcomed us and helped us choose our dishes, explaining them in detail. I also couldn't help but overhear him explaining the dishes to other foreign customers sitting next to us, speaking German that, according to the guests, was impeccable. It's hard to find staff like that these days. I highly recommend the place, for evenings with friends or even more intimate ones.
PS. The wine list and the help with choosing drinks are also top-notch.

A charming restaurant with a truly beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service.
I go there often and will definitely return. I highly recommend it.
The prices are quite high, but fair for the food and the ambiance.

Good seafood restaurant, quality food (but you pay for it), it's a shame that even though I had booked a table on the terrace, having had confirmation from the head waiter, when I arrived I was given a table in a different position.

After a busy day, we called the restaurant to get a table as soon as possible. The staff took immediate action, and by 7:20 pm we were ready to be served. The welcome was sublime, extremely professional, the Maître d' impeccable, and the Sommelier was fantastic. We both had an elephant ear, a bottle of Dicatum (recommended), a chocolate cake, and a semifreddo. The sunset and perfect background music were a must. Thank you so much.

A very famous restaurant in Viareggio. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, the staff is well-trained and friendly. The food is excellent. Each dish is meticulously prepared. The desserts are truly special and definitely worth a try to round out the evening. The wine list is exceptional.
