04/04/2024: Charming ambience in colonial style. Very authentic, friendly and courteous service. Excellent food, special requests were catered for. Regional and homemade specialties. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and thank you for a lovely evening!
02/04/2024: On the advice of a local person we came to eat in this place last Boxing Day and we fell in love with it. The cuisine is really good, each dish is artfully made, rich in flavor and well presented. The staff and owner are all very courteous and approachable. At Easter we decided to always go back for a family lunch, there was a very abundant fixed menu (even too much!!!), we ate very well, also for the children at the table they had eggs to color and drawings and markers, which they greatly appreciated. It's now our favorite restaurant in the area, we're not local but we always go there when we can!!

06/11/2023: A Vico Pancellorum, un caratteristico borgo nell’alta Val di Lima, nel Comune di Bagni di Lucca, sembra che il tempo si sia fermato e merita una visita, in particolare la Pieve romanica. Nella parte alta del paese c’è il ristorante Buca di Baldabò nome che risale ad antiche leggende. La struttura è l’ex circolo paesano, questa trattoria mi era stata più volte consigliata da amici lucchesi e, adesso che ci sono stato, posso confermare che avevano pienamente ragione. Ambiente ampio con grande salone, una bella atmosfera familiare e ccogliente con il camino acceso. Qui si possono gustare vere specialità ottimamente cucinate dalla sig. Giovanna di origini emiliane: assaggiare per credere. (specialmente i ravioli di ricotta fatti in casa, semplicemente eccezionali !) Ottimo anche il servizio e l'attenzione al cliente. Concludo dicendo che siamo stati benissimo e ci torneremo. Complimenti veramente.

Come faccio di solito mi sono fermato all' ora di pranzo per un primo, un pò di vino e caffè.
Tagliatelle al cinghiale eccellenti e in quantità eccezionale, ci venivano comodamente 2 porzioni.
Vino bianco frizzante, ottimo.
Prezzo incredibile, in senso buono; mi aspettavo e sarebbe stato normale più alto.

06/04/2024: Undoubtedly the worst food of my life: the soup was nothing more than minestrone in a frozen bag and of the worst quality, mushrooms that were also defrosted were watery and terrible, a shame because the place would be nice but it puts away any desire to go back. Also very expensive
