16/06/2025: Fuimos al restaurante para una cata de vinos privada y fue una gran iniciación a Italia. El anfitrión era tan atractivo y agradable que todos disfrutamos de la isla en una excursión rápida de un día. Recomendaría encarecidamente el vino - cata.

31/08/2025: A negative experience to say the least. The place was very nice, but it was incredible that, on an already sparse menu, most of the dishes we chose were no longer available. The appetizers were decent, but the entrees were tragic. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was actually tagliatelle, overcooked, and served with stew rather than ragù; tagliolini with truffle, with the most flavorless truffle I've ever eaten. Slow service, dishes brought in batches; an experience not to be repeated.

30/08/2025: An osteria that aims to combine Maremma cuisine with Argentario seafood. It doesn't succeed in either. The charcuterie board is unremarkable; good but not refined. The sliced ​​steak was tough and flavorless, despite being rare. The grilled calamari...to be forgotten; it's obviously a frozen product served as if it were fresh. A real shame, because the service was good and all the ingredients for a good osteria were there...

13/07/2025: Ristorante in una bellissima location , ottimamente arredato. Siamo stati accolti con cura da personale e dal proprietario. Pranzo a base di pesce , abbiamo preso una tempura di crostacei , spaghetti mono grano alle vongole ( ottimi) , baccalà e frittura. Tutto ben cucinato e presentato . Merita senz'altro una visita e consigliamo vivamente .

14/09/2025: I WON'T MENTION THE BATHROOM BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE IT. My review is for the restaurant. I'm relying on the staff's advice (very kind) when I was hesitant about two dishes on the menu and when choosing a glass of wine. The wine arrived with a full explanation (which is much appreciated), but unfortunately it was probably a bottle that had been opened a long time ago or stored poorly. The dish I chose on the menu was marked as possibly frozen (which is fine), but the problem is that I was served a lobster that was still frozen and practically inedible. I didn't tell the staff what had happened, so as not to start "useless" discussions in front of other customers, but I left the frozen piece in plain sight on my plate. The coffee arrived in the beautiful cup as pictured, and there were no spills from the coffee maker, but rather caked-on. I paid and was given a small discount, which was certainly appreciated, but it smelled of something more. Nice setting on the beach, but alas!!!

15/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant located on the beach of Giglio Porto, not far from the port of Giglio Island. We had a delicious mussels with pepper sauce as an appetizer and paccheri with swordfish and eggplant as a main course, and I must say, everything was truly excellent! The mascarpone with biscotti and macchiato were also delicious! The staff is friendly and professional, perhaps the only slightly negative thing is the enormous number of wasps surrounding you while you're eating. However, a waiter informed us that Giglio Island has been infested with a huge number of wasps this year, and a disinfestation program is underway to address this situation. Kudos to the entire staff!

19/10/2025: The ambiance and location are phenomenal. The restaurant perfectly complements the beautiful harbor. The food was delicious and well-prepared from start to finish. The waiter was friendly, took our orders very carefully, and was attentive to any special requests. Relaxing music played in the background, making us feel very comfortable. Even the bathroom was one of the most beautiful I've seen in Italy! My only (minor) criticism: In such an upscale restaurant, I would expect the waiters to be appropriately dressed. Our waiter was walking around in a T-shirt, while his colleague served his guests in a hoodie.

09/11/2025: New experience unlocked: eating badly in Italy, or rather in Tuscany! A mixed cheese platter that was anything but mixed. We certainly weren't expecting, in a region with such a wide variety of local products like this, four pieces of Parmesan and two of a banal supermarket cheese. We ordered gnocchi, and finished them. Then we ordered pasta with zucchini flowers and guanciale, but it tasted only of soffritto, curry, and stale guanciale oil... not a single zucchini flower was in it. I regret not having read the other reviews before. A real tourist trap. Ps. The water jugs were filthy!! 🤢

14/07/2025: Incompetenti spaghetti con le vongole ? Non persistite vongole nel piatto se mai dei lupini sgusciati congelati .. mai mangiato male così senza un minimo di sapore di mare e er altro spaghetti verdi allucinante il uovo deve assolutamente andare a fare il bagnino che è meglio

11/07/2025: Castiglione della Pescaia, mare stupendo, pescherecci a due passi, eppure riescono a servire pesce che sembra arrivare da una mensa scolastica dimenticata degli anni ’80. Complimenti. Cominciamo con l’“invitante” trilogia di alici. Sì, tre alici. Sempre le stesse, semplicemente impiattate in modo diverso per far scena. Stoppose, dure, con la coda ancora attaccata che ti ritrovi in bocca come un amo da sputare. Ma che vi costa almeno tagliarla? Penso: dai, magari capita, saranno finite le buone. Arriva il secondo: calamaro in guazzetto. Gommoso da fare invidia a una suola di scarpa, salato da prosciugarti le labbra. Una vera impresa culinaria: rendere immangiabile anche un calamaro fresco in un paese di mare. E ora la parte peggiore: nessuno chiede niente. Né un “tutto bene?”, né uno sguardo curioso sul piatto lasciato pieno. La sala e la cucina sapevano bene cosa stavano servendo, ma l’importante era incassare. Mi hanno preso i soldi con la stessa gentilezza con cui uno butta una cartaccia nel cestino. Non mi aspettavo lo sconto, ma almeno una faccia seria. Un minimo di rispetto per chi esce di casa sperando di mangiare bene. In una località così ricca di pesce vero, di tradizione, è criminale servire piatti simili. Un affronto alla cucina di mare. Ecco, spero che questa recensione serva a evitare a qualcun altro la stessa delusione. Con tutto il cuore: non andateci

12/10/2025: Dropped in for lunch and oh my God they do woodfired pizzas. Also share a Caprese salad. Food was divine, pizzas were on point. Definitely recommend if you're in this area.
