13/06/2025: The pasta was fine but I did not liked the tiramisu. Also after the restaurant I had to run to the toilet.

04/06/2025: Excellent food, kind owners, cleanliness. I have also been to a hotel recently, welcoming rooms, very clean. A very nice thing is to find a bottle of water in the room. I also recommend it for the kindness and availability of the owners.

17/07/2025: I went there to eat by the forest fire. The food selection was extensive and there was something for everyone. The service was impeccable.

10/07/2025: The beach on Elba that absolutely must be visited. The hotel offers everything, including a golf course with a lake. Tennis, swimming pools, and even a small church. Behind the promontory, an enchanting walk takes you to a wild bay. On the way back, stop at the Hermitage and ask for Fabio, the cocktail boy. You won't find anything like it except in the best bars in London or New York. They're expensive (about €25), but he prepares them for you with incredible ingredients, explaining the process in a breathtaking setting. UPDATE 2025: For about two summers, the currents in the bay have changed, and the sea in front of the Hermitage is still very (very) dirty. The panoramic path along the coast has been closed.

Here, you’ll get the most exceptional pizza around. All those famous restaurants with big names? They can’t compare – this pizzeria beats them all easily. So juicy, so flavorful, so simple yet full of taste. This place will show you that not all tomatoes are the same – and that a tomato pizza can taste a thousand different ways. This is where you discover what real pizza truly tastes like. If we ever come back to Viareggio or anywhere nearby, this will be the first place we run to. 22/07/2025: The truffle bruschetta was good. Unfortunately, the pizzas aren't recommended. You can definitely eat better pizzas in Italy, nothing special. Service was top-notch. In summary: I've eaten many better pizzas, but fewer worse ones.

20/07/2025: Siamo arrivati senza prenotazione, e nonostante fosse l’orario di punta, e ci fosse molta gente già seduta, ci hanno fatto accomodare in in saletta molto ben climatizzata. Servizio veloce e cortese: mia moglie ha preso una pappa al pomodoro e io trippa fiorentina con fagioli. Entrambi i piatti molto buoni e abbondanti: con una bottiglia d’acqua e due caffè conto totale 36 euro. Ci torneremo alla prossima occasione che saremo a Firenze. Grazie davvero

14/07/2025: Its ok? It's nice to have a hidden outdoor space away from the crowds of Lucca. I think I was expecting more from the food since it was recommended by a local. I do feel sorry for other guests who had to endure our loud table as we were having a reunion. The wine was good and the service was good too. Just did not think the food was that great.

08/07/2025: Despite the beautiful garden, the food left a lot to be desired! The pasta was sauceless and the ravioli was soggy! I wouldn't go back.

20/07/2025: Very good food in a small town. It has a great atmosphere and is worth a visit. The only downside is that when it was sparsely populated and we arrived late, we felt the staff were watching us. We felt like they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible, which wasn't pleasant. However, when it was crowded, this didn't happen.

28/07/2025: Di rientro da un viaggio verso Milano, abbiamo deciso di seguire il consiglio di un nostro amico e fermarci in questo autentico ristorante nelle vicinanze di Firenze. Mai scelta fu più azzeccata!! Siamo riusciti a trovare la genuinità e famigliarità in ogni piatto gustato, un vero tripudio di gusto ad ogni forchettata. Antipasto “Da Pampurio” eccezionale, deliziosi i primi piatti, soprattutto i pici. Ottima qualità prezzo. Fortemente consigliato!!

19/07/2025: About a 40-minute drive from Florence, via Bagno a Ripoli, San Donato in Collina, Torri di Rignano sull'Arno. Beautiful countryside, hills covered in olive groves, vineyards now ripe for Merlot, clear roads, and views. Pampurio is essentially a grocery store, but from 11 a.m. onwards it also operates as a trattoria-restaurant, open for lunch, except Tuesdays. Closed in the evenings. Tuscan cuisine, with some pleasant variations, and a well-presented menu. Prices are more than reasonable (a steak, for example, is €40/kg). The atmosphere is usually crowded, perhaps not a declaration of love (though that's not necessarily the case). Service is fast, and half portions are available (full portions are more than generous). Today, the highlight was the potato tortelli with sausage and porcini mushroom ragù. The food is easy to digest (a not insignificant advantage), and allergy-friendly (please declare). Reservations are recommended on Saturdays and Sundays.

15/07/2025: A pizzeria with extra dishes (beef tagliata, pasta, salad. Excellent food, friendly service and well designed and maintained interior. Simplicity at its best. And a 20 mins walki from Ponte Vecchio. You cannot expect more for the price.
