The service is super friendly and competent. The wine is excellent. Highly recommended. It would be my regular Italian restaurant at home. I'd go back anytime.

20/05/2025: the menu needs to be downloaded to your phone, and it's inconvenient because you need to translate words in an electronic translator, it takes a lot of time and memory on your phone. the waiter is wonderful. but we had a birthday and there was no congratulatory piece of cake, there was nothing, it's strange in the restaurant business. and there is nothing for people who don't eat meat and fish. but we liked it 🥰

Amidst the tourist traps, there's this place where the dishes are made just like at home. You can choose from excellent appetizers, pasta, and meat. 20/05/2025: In Palermo, you learn to love the service that you experience in London, NYC or Berlin. I actually thought this place could become a regular. The fact that non-Italians don't always interpret the menus correctly, ok. For example, "pasta with lentils" was not the Sicilian version of Swabian spaetzle with lentils, but a soup. I love soups, but it was still a surprise. Unfortunately, I didn't like the glass of Grillo at all: a very heavy Grillo for a light soup breakfast. There were hardly any guests. However, no one from the service asked me why I wasn't drinking the wine? I remarked on this at the till and the response was "you have to come and tell us" - yes, but it would be more elegant if the service staff were more attentive and asked me. "You'll get another wine". I ask if it's still open now? Then I would like to drink and enjoy the wine I paid for? No answer. There are still three tables outside having lunch... ...so I leave at a loss. It was "only" 7 euros. But you have to earn even that with your job!

02/06/2025: Amazing location. You can enjoy excellent fresh fish dishes right on the cliff. The well-prepared dishes and first choice food are served impeccably in a family atmosphere. I love eating on the outside terrace 1 MT from the sea. Inside the restaurant you can admire an offshoot of the seabed where you can admire fish, molluscs and shells. Very suggestive. An oasis where you can restore your palate and spirit! Highly recommended!!!!

24/05/2025: Nous nous sommes échappés du Club Med et de son buffet pour arriver par hasard dans ce restaurant. Avec mon épouse nous souhaitions une cuisine sicilienne de qualité, ..." Le terme" nous a réconcilié avec la cuisine gastronomique sicilienne, nous avons eu un service très attentionné, de plats extraordinaires en saveur et qualités. Cette soirée nous restera longtemps en mémoire. Il y avait longtemps que je n'avais pas dégusté une aussi bonne cuisine italienne.

27/05/2025: 5 stars deserves it all!! We celebrated my baby's baptism everything was really very nice and elegant at the same time, our menu included fried appetizers and pizza. (tasty good pizza) their wood-fired oven in sight is wonderful 🤩 A thank you goes to Mr. LA ROSA and the staff because finding kind and helpful people today is not easy. I RECOMMEND GOING TO EAT AT GRACE RESTAURANT.

18/05/2025: If you enjoy waiting over an hour come here! The slowest customer service The mackerel was amazing apart from that we waiter almost an hour to be served and were ignored. The owner needs help and is clearly understaffed. The waitress didn't acknowledge us and ignored us the service is very poor. Overall not a great restaurant.

17/05/2025: While waiting for the afternoon opening of my travel and life companion's art group show, we stopped at this place near the Statue of Liberty, which is much more than just a bakery: it also includes a bar and a restaurant. We were in a hurry, but we couldn't resist tasting some excellent anelletti al forno and an irresistible sfincione palermitano. We finished with an excellent coffee, in a pleasant and original location. If you have more time, it's really worth stopping calmly and enjoying everything.

17/05/2025: Pizza is a food that I eat only once a week, but since I came to Italy, I ate countless pizzas for two weeks until I got sick of them. I started with the somewhat unfamiliar name of spicione. Spicione refers to sponge pizza, and it is an Italian name for the dough that is fluffy and thick like a sponge. It is not round but square-shaped, and it is characterized by its appearance similar to pizza bread. I arrived at a bakery slightly outside of downtown Palermo to eat spicione. I originally thought it was a pizza place, but it was a bakery that sold pizza, and it was busy with locals buying bread until late at night. You can choose other breads from the display case, and for pizza, there is a menu attached, so you can refer to it and order. When you order, they cut the pizza baked in a huge mold and heat it up once. The price for the two signature pizzas, spicione and Siciliana, and two bottles of beer was less than 10 euros. I was surprised at the cost-effectiveness and was impressed by the friendly staff. As I mentioned earlier, the pizza is square and cut into 8 pieces so that you can eat it one by one. The edges are baked crispy, similar to Detroit pizza, and the dough is focaccia, which is probably not Italian. As the name suggests, Siciliana contains ingredients from Sicily. Instead of tomato paste, it is topped with a lot of herbs, finely chopped cherry tomatoes, caccicavallo cheese, anchovies, and onions. Since the dough is thick, the taste of the ingredients should be absorbed into the dough, but the texture of the dough was moist as if it was soaked in water, so it wasn't like that at all. The savory taste of the cheese, anchovies, and onions were also well-infused into the dough. The spiciness of the spiciness was much heavier than that of the Siciliana because it was based on tomato paste. The ingredients felt like they had completely soaked into the dough, and the saltier taste went well with beer.​ Personally, I don't think that Spinchione surpasses Neapolitan pizza because my taste for pizza is so strong. However, it was definitely delicious, and considering the price, I want to eat it more often than Neapolitan pizza.
