17/08/2024: Michele is an excellent man of the house, the food is delicious and the food is fresh and freshly prepared. Like at home. The price is €25 per person for starter, first course, drinks, dessert and coffee. Everything plentiful. Super recommended

14/08/2024: We arrive from Catania in this Madonie wedding favor, we found a wonderful welcome with the exceptional Castelbuonese white wine, and very genuine and delicate dishes! The white ragù with porcini mushrooms is fantastic!!

13/08/2024: We found Hostaria Cycas by accident and were so glad we did and actually ended up eating 4 meals there during our week’s stay in Castelbuono. Everything we had was delicious (pizza, pasta, desert), portions were large and the prices very reasonable. On top of this the staff were very welcoming, friendly and relaxed. Throughly recommended!

05/08/2024: The food deserves the fame it has, the waiters are very WARM and the environment is really nice, recommended

01/08/2024: Parking was outside the restaurant on the street. Area outside at night looks ok and safe. I got a table immediately for 3 people. The pizza Magarita was a 9/10 The seafood 9/10 Bread 9/10 Dessert 10/10 Service 9/10 Only locals and Italians in there so glad to have this authentic experience. Plus they have chilli oil. Toilets had seats and was clean.

17/08/2024: The service was excellent, very friendly staff, the food was amazing and the place was very cozy. We were very lucky to find a table, and after we tried the food it was very clear why the place was full. Since there were a lot of people it took around 15 minutes to order (but we were given water right away) and once we ordered the food came out pretty quick. For dessert we had the pistachio creme and the chocolate cake and they were so delicious that we dived in right away without even taking a picture… We spent a beautiful evening here and it’s definitely worth the visit. 😊

16/08/2024: The place was recommended by a friend and it definitely met our expectations. The service was perfect and the food was amazing, the cuisine is traditional but elaborated. This is why the prices are a bit over the average but it is comprehensible considering the quality and the elegance of the place. If you want to try the finest Sicilian cuisine, you should try this place!

10/08/2024: 2 days immersed in nature My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this beautiful farmhouse. Impeccable service, excellent pool and spa. I fell in love with their cuisine. Rustic structure, but I feel at home... Very friendly owners and staff. Lunch and dinner, with impeccable description... Will be back... I recommend it to the fullest... Thank you for hosting us

20/07/2024: Una semplice recensione per questa struttura e il suo staff è purtroppo riduttiva, non basterebbe! Siete una squadra meravigliosa, sempre gentili, disponibili e sorridenti, per non parlare del fatto che gestite questo angolo di paradiso in maniera perfetta! Ogni angolo curato e pulito, partendo dalla zona piscina per finire al bellissimo terrazzino dove abbiamo pranzato. Ogni piatto da noi mangiato era buonissimo, curato sia nel gusto che nell’estetica, si percepiva la freschezza di ogni ingrediente e la cura messa nel preparare il tutto Avrei dato 1000 stelle, consiglio assolutamente a tutti di venire e vivere un pò di pace nella vostra meravigliosa struttura! Noi abbiamo passato la giornata in piscina e pranzato, ma si può anche pernottare e se non ho capito male hanno maneggio e spa!

02/09/2024: Celebrated my birthday in this wonderful place. The atmosphere of the terrace overlooking the sea is splendid but it makes you regret not having dinner inside which, with the remains of the ancient baths, is an enchanting place. Dinner with innovative and exquisite flavours. I hope to return in the not too distant future.

27/08/2024: We went to eat at this restaurant during our holiday in Cefalù. Unfortunately we were not satisfied at all! We ordered spaghetti with basil pesto, but unfortunately a plate of spaghetti arrived with lots of oil and chopped basil, inedible! It really had nothing to do with basil pesto! We had also ordered two Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe with mushrooms, but we must say that unfortunately these also only had the name of a real cacio e pepe. When we politely complained (especially about the Basil Pesto), the chef with arrogance and presumption did not even have the humility to accept our criticism. Not recommended restaurant! We won't be back again!

10/08/2024: Antica trattoria a conduzione familiare, ambiente molto informale e semplice. Si mangia tutti insieme attorno a grandi tavolate in un clima familiare e gioioso! I piatti sono spaziali ! Cucina palermitana originale si vede che c’è tanta passione ! Abbiamo mangiato le sarde a beccafico , caponata , pasta con le sarde, pasta con il ragù , involtini alla spada ! Tutto buonissimo , sapori veri , pesce freschissimo ! Servizio veloce , tanta simpatia e conto onestissimo !!!! Caffè regalati!! Complimenti
