We had everything from the appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with jam, to the first course (pastorella), to a grilled meat... Everything was truly excellent.

13/02/2026: Incredible place! Small seating but truly beautiful, you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Extremely kind and helpful staff, excellent food! It was a real pleasure dining there, and if we have the chance, we'll be back and definitely recommend it!

04/04/2026: A spectacular place: on a narrow street, with a steep incline and a terrace overlooking the entire street.
The service is incredible: they recommend typical local products and are very friendly.
The food is very good: the parmigiana is excellent, and so is the octopus. The mixed antipasto is very good. The pasta is spectacular: the rigatoni alla norma is superb, as are the spaghetti al nero di sepia, alla carbonara, and alla bolognese. The fish is also excellent: prawns, calamari, etc. And to finish: amazing desserts: pistachio flan, tiramisu, and a cake that's like a chocolate fondant. Very, very good. Fair price.

07/04/2026: For the meal you see in the picture: a small pasta, a small salad, some bread, a glass of wine and a digestif - I paid almost €50.
Nothing in the qaulity of the food justified such a rip-off.
With so many other great options in the area, you can easily find a better meal at a much better price. I'm not surprised there were only tourists in the restaurant at peak hour, and not a single Italian - and that the place was half-empty.

12/04/2026: We went for dinner using an app recommended by the apartment owners and ended up at Mafone. Very average. Food 6/10:/ The squid was stretched and rubbery, tough, the risotto was probably the best but a bit too salty, the shrimp pasta was okay. The food was saved by the chef himself, who came out anxiously to ask if everything was okay (he was very friendly).
The service was sulky. The guy was a bit lifeless. Not to mention his minimal English. There was no music, which made it awkward. The decor didn't quite work for me. :/ On the one hand, the tablecloths looked pretty good, but on the other, the service was typical of a typical bar.

11/04/2026: We found it by chance. It was packed. We asked for a table for two and they found us a small table in 10 minutes. The food was super fast and delicious. The pizzas were made with all-natural ingredients and the mussels were amazing. The service was very friendly. Prices are cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. 100% recommended.
10/04/2026: Excellent pizza, light, flavorful, and well-cooked dough, quality ingredients. A long-standing favorite.

26/12/2025: The menu wasn't updated online. We sat down and found only ready-made pasta sauces displayed at the counter, and a very salty pasta with clams, off-menu.
Fresh fish by the kilo? None.
Fish meatballs? Purchased pre-made and of poor quality.
Swordfish rolls were very dry.
The worst thing was that fried calamari, marinated shrimp, and pasta with bottarga were delivered to the table next to ours (all off-menu dishes that no one had informed us about).
The only positive note of the lunch was the seafood salad.
Never again.

Too expensive for what we got.
21/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to report that the fried fish wasn't good quality. The taste alone left a bitter taste in my mouth, and unfortunately, it gave me stomach aches and diarrhea all night.

22/03/2026: A restaurant and pizzeria just steps from the main street. The restaurant is rustic but charming and tastefully furnished, adorned with beautiful paintings. The menu features Sicilian dishes, some with a modern twist. The pizza is delicious: thin and crispy, easy to digest, and offers a variety of flavors, from traditional to more original.
In summer, you can dine in the front garden around a beautiful cycad.
18/03/2026: We went to this place because a nearby pizzeria was closed (we were looking for a warm pizza given the cold day).
Once in, at the time we where about to order the food the woman told us that they didn’t have pizza at lunch time, that it is only for the afternoons.
Is that hard to put a notice outside stating it? We wanted to see the town during the day to have light, how come pizzas are only at night?
The food was ok but we didn’t have the amounts other comments seems to have had. Inside the restaurant it was very cold, it’s a very big room with stone walls and they were saving money.
At the end the food, ourselves and the experience got cold.
Awful experience that made us leave the town immediately. Good riddance.

Very authentic and delicious Sicilian/Italian food!!
This was confirmed by the presence of many locals.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful!
01/05/2026: We had lunch at Franco's on May 1st and decided to have the tasting menu.
It consists of 5 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course with a side dish, sorbet, water, wine, and coffee.
I must say we were very pleased. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The waiters were very friendly, professional, and fast. You feel like you're in a very comfortable place, and they have a wonderful garden with a gazebo outside, which makes lunch even more enjoyable.
All at the very reasonable price of €35 per person.
I highly recommend you go. You won't regret it.
