11/04/2026: We found it by chance. It was packed. We asked for a table for two and they found us a small table in 10 minutes. The food was super fast and delicious. The pizzas were made with all-natural ingredients and the mussels were amazing. The service was very friendly. Prices are cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. 100% recommended.

25/05/2026: If all of Castelbuono is talking about Fiasconaro, you have to change the subject and stop at Palazzaccio, a completely renovated restaurant with friendly service and quality cuisine made with excellent ingredients! Almost everything is homemade... a relaxing lunch or dinner without going overboard. Typical local cuisine that aims to give you a different experience. They've succeeded! Fairly priced!

17/05/2026: This one deserves all the credit - the welcome, the food, the value for money - all excellent. We came in early for Saturday, the chef himself welcomed us in, we had a tour of the kitchen and in general had a great experience. The tasting appetizer menu of six dishes, the lamb chops and the suckling pig were freshly made and excellent. So was the dessert. The restaurant filled up by 9:30pm, while we came in at 7:30pm. We'll, the Michellin listing is well deserved.

12/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! We were celebrating a graduation. I contacted the owner, explaining that we weren't local and would have to arrange everything over the phone. He was extremely helpful and courteous. We agreed on the menu, and he designed the cake, which was delicious, as were the rest of the dishes. The service was impeccable and courteous. We felt truly pampered. Well done!

07/04/2026: For the meal you see in the picture: a small pasta, a small salad, some bread, a glass of wine and a digestif - I paid almost €50. Nothing in the qaulity of the food justified such a rip-off. With so many other great options in the area, you can easily find a better meal at a much better price. I'm not surprised there were only tourists in the restaurant at peak hour, and not a single Italian - and that the place was half-empty.

When a place does so well, you can see the passion behind every detail. In the Kitchen: Chef Gianfranco Parisi is a force of nature. His dishes are an experience for the eyes and the palate, combining technique, flavor, and a unique charm. At the Bar: Francesco Gaiano is a master behind the bar, with exceptional drinks and great professionalism. At the Bakery: Massimo in the pizzeria churns out spectacular pizzas, with perfect dough and cooking. In the Dining Room: Giovanni Fiorelli and the entire team welcome you with such attention, kindness, and energy that make you feel immediately at home. A beautiful atmosphere and an extraordinary staff that all pulls in the same direction. When you come here, you experience the region at its best. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

02/05/2026: Baglio Himera is a beautiful place. I consider it "Sicilian-style," meaning it respects its Sicilian origins, what makes us Sicilians special. The food is delicious; I had the pasta with pistachios, cream, and shrimp, which you must try here—delicious!—and the fried seafood was even better. The service is good, and the staff is kind and courteous. The atmosphere is beautiful, decorated in Sicilian tradition, well-maintained, and spacious, with plenty of seating. Highly recommended for a birthday party. In short, the place is perfect... highly recommended.

07/07/2026: Cute hidden place with a very nice roof terrace. We stumbled on this place very last minute as was accommodating despite having no booking - although it was very quiet on a monday. We had the tempura prawns and octopus (daily special) for starters and the thai cous cous and pistachio pasta for mains. We definitely over ordered as the portions are HUGE. I would recommend having just one dish each or a starter to share. The restaurant had very interesting dishes with an asian influence. I would recommend the cous cous the most as it was unlike anything I’ve had in sicily before. Service was lovely and very attentive. They should really invest in spotify premium as we were listening to ads here and there haha!!

29/05/2026: An incredible spot that is tucked away from the busiest areas of Mondello- lovely pizzas, antipasti and great beer selection. Great views over Monte Gallo from the garden area. I would have preferred a physical paper menu and maybe no tablecloth as it blew around a lot in the wind, though these are very minor things! Their calzone is very rich, but does have some delicious guanciale inside.

28/05/2026: Only locals inside, family events – I thought that was a good omen. And it was brilliant! Delicious food, atmospheric garden. Non-alcoholic drinks, plenty of space, and reasonable prices.

06/06/2026: The fettuccine with seafood was excellent. Niccola provided great service. They even agreed to prepare grilled sardines for us. Excellent value for money.

05/06/2026: The food was ok, but very overpriced. The sea urchin pasta was 20 euros and only had 4 pieces of sea urchin. The two people who worked here were sitting on the table right next to us and were smoking while being on their phone. It's a family owned restaurant so they were constantly fighting right next to us and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The dad is the only cook there so service was extremely slow, and when we wanted to pay the lady just pointed at the cashier and continued smoking. The waiter gave us attitude and wasn't very friendly either. The food was great, but the service was horrible.

10/07/2026: A very pleasant experience in a calm atmosphere. Lovely decor. My pasta carbonara was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive, even though we didn't speak Italian. I recommend it.

03/05/2026: Extremely long waits, and usually when I ask other pizzerias to make a Margherita pizza as quickly as possible for a child rather than wait as long as we adults do, they've never given me any problems. Here, the child had to eat at 10:45 PM with a table booked for 9:00 PM. There are small adjustments that make all the difference.

16/07/2026: Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. A cozy place and an excellent choice whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway.

06/07/2026: This restaurant is mainly frequented by locals, the food is excellent, with fantastic pizzas and very friendly and helpful staff. For weekends, it's advisable to book ahead as Italian families go out in large numbers and the restaurant was fully booked. The only slight downside is the noise. We went on a Saturday night and the place was extremely noisy with children running around and shouting. It's often like that in Italy, you just have to be prepared. 😜

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience

10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

14/07/2026: Rustic atmosphere and authentic food. Old-fashioned fare, mixed antipasto with bruschetta, fried broccoli, cheeses, quality pasta dishes, and mixed roast meats.
