17/07/2025: A splendid place, fantastic courtesy and a lot of kindness

17/07/2025: Did not live up to the hype. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They kept turning the lights on and off multiple times throughout our meal. Our waitress was completely confused with their own menu. I showed her pictures of the things I wanted directly from their online menu I got from the QR code provided on the table. The fries with cheese and bacon were good, but initially came out without bacon. I asked if it was supposed to have bacon and the waitress was again confused. After showing the picture from their menu again, we did get the bacon added. We enjoyed that. The Spaghettone alla Nerano and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara were very bland. The few slices of fried zucchini were good, but the pasta was mediocre at best. Asked two people for the check and again…took a very long time. They seemed to tend to the customers who were sitting outside instead of inside. Would not recommend.

01/08/2025: We chose this restaurant for dinner for two. We ordered two pastas and wine. The first pasta was quite tasty, but the pasta with clams was mediocre. Would I come back here again? Not sure because the previous evening we had tasted better pasta in one of the restaurants in Palermo.

31/07/2025: I dined at the restaurant for an anniversary, so we were a large table with a pre-arranged menu. We ate well, the service was discreet, and the location was beautiful; we were on the upper terrace, overlooking the entire property, which helped maintain a certain level of privacy.

02/08/2025: Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. It's worth getting away from the touristy area. We ordered fish, pasta, vegetables, meat... all of them were delicious and well-cooked. Excellent value.

10/08/2025: We just had an unpleasant experience at the Pelledoca restaurant in Palermo. We ordered pasta for four people and chose an €18 wine from the menu, recommended by the server himself. However, when we paid, the bill included a €25 wine, not an €18 one. When we asked for an explanation, the server claimed he no longer had the wine listed and had therefore taken the liberty of changing the bottle without our knowledge. Logically, a server should warn us of a problem, not change the wine without even notifying us. I advise you to carefully check the menu and the bill before paying. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths, and we do not recommend this restaurant.

07/08/2025: Great service from Giovanni and Naomi, the octopus is probably the best dish that I’ve ever had in my life, the taste is so delicious, and we got pizza and sea food pasta, this place is worth the visit.

06/08/2025: Great address, we had a great dinner on a terrace with a sea view. We recommend it, remember to book if you really want to be in the front row to see the sea.

06/08/2025: I recommend booking well in advance, especially during high season. One of the best-known and oldest restaurants in Cefalù, located near the Bastione. It offers the option of dining on the terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view of the waves crashing onto the rocks. High-quality seafood, generous dishes with unique flavors. Efficient and very prompt staff. A successful evening.

13/07/2025: Everything was good except the first courses. The spaghetti was very thin and white with sauce on top. Everything else was good. They don't use other types of pasta. It's a shame.

09/07/2025: Trattoria spartana con cibi semplici e genuini. Servizio celere ma per cena devi arrivare entro le 21.30 e inoltre se è tardi molte portate risultano terminate Prezzi modici e non si paga il servizio Complessivamente buono.

09/06/2025: Ho preso un piatto di Spaghetti Lido (con pesce spada e melanzane). Buonissimo e finalmente porzioni che saziano. Avevo il cellulare a 0% e me lo hanno gentilmente caricato. Importante perché essendo forestiera avevo bisogno di Google Maps per tornare in hotel! :)

19/07/2025: We ate there a few nights ago. The food was good but not exceptional, and the quantities were normal. The prices were incredibly high; you can't afford a bottle of a very common 0.66 cl "Messina" beer that costs €1.30 at the supermarket—a whopping €7.00. Imagine if it were a special beer! They have no control over anything anymore.

02/08/2025: Excellent pastry shop in Petralia Sottana (PA). The owner is extremely kind and hospitable. They offer both traditional Sicilian and local products. I recommend trying the cheesecake and the ricotta and coffee pastry, which you can only find here. The Sicilian cannoli are also very good.

16/07/2025: Quando arrivi per la prima volta davanti questo locale, non ti immagini che all'interno si possa trovare questa grande sala con vetrate dove sono disposti i tavoli. Un sabato sera prenotazione per dieci persone. Il menù prevede sia ristorazione che pizzeria. Tutto ciò che abbiamo ordinato è risultato molto buono e soddisfacente nelle portate. Dagli antipasti caldi, alla patata fresca fritta allo sfincionello, come le pizze o le paste ordinate. Un locale da consigliare oltre che per il cibo. ma anche per la diponibilità del personale di sala nonché della simpatia di Franco. Prezzi ragionevoli.

16/07/2025: Vado al succo del discorso.mentre stavamo consumando l antipasto ci hanno portato i primi.ovviamente li hanno riportati indietro.per poi riprentardsi dopo 40 minuti quando ormai la fame era passata.non una parola ne di scuse ne altro completamente abbandonati. Mai piu.

05/05/2025: Locale curato e moderno, con un menù che valorizza ingredienti del territorio. I piatti sono ben preparati, porzioni giuste e sapori equilibrati. Una buona esperienza complessiva, senza particolari guizzi ma anche senza delusioni. Ideale per un pranzo tranquillo nel centro di Palermo.

11/08/2025: Ottima esperienza, abbiamo preso vari antipasti (tempera di gamberi, polpette di baccalà con salsa ai ricci, crostoni di gambero) , dei primi deliziosi (spaghetti ai ricci e Mondello) e, per concludere, il cannolo scomposto. Qualità eccellente e staff super preparato e cordiale! Raccomandiamo a tutti di provarlo.. ci ritornerete come noi!!!
