26/04/2026: Yesterday, April 25th, my family and I went to eat at this restaurant. Since there were 11 of us, we obviously had reservations, and when we arrived, despite a few families passing us in line to get in, we sat down at the table. After a short chat, a waiter came to take our orders. We had ordered nine set menus, a children's menu, and a gluten-free menu. After a while, the appetizers for the set menus arrived.
25/04/2026: We visited this agriturismo today, April 25th, with 11 people. We fully understand that it was a particularly busy day, and indeed we initially tried to explain away many of the difficulties we encountered. However, the overall experience was disappointing in several respects. The service was disorganized: we began eating after about an hour's wait. The appetizers were good, but the first courses were unfortunately inedible. Furthermore, the second course of two of our guests arrived significantly later than the others. The second courses, overall, were barely adequate. The children's menu ordered for my daughter also arrived extremely late: her pasta was served when we had already finished the appetizers and first courses, an incomprehensible wait, especially for a young girl. Despite the disappointment, until that point we continued to think the situation was due to the holiday and the general confusion. But what happened next was much more serious. My other daughter is celiac. We served her a first course, which we assured her was gluten-free. Halfway through the course, however, she began to have doubts about a different aftertaste than usual. I should point out that the dish was different from the others, so there could be no misunderstanding. Such a mistake isn't simply a matter of carelessness: when we talk about celiac disease, we're talking about health, and that's no laughing matter. What's even more unfortunate is that, when it came to the bill, we were even charged the 50 cent difference. This gesture, after such a serious incident, seemed truly inappropriate. A restaurateur has a duty to adequately train waiters and kitchen staff, especially in managing food intolerances and allergies. Mistakes can happen, but such sensitive issues require skill, attention, and responsibility. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, as I always try to understand the difficulties of those who work in the restaurant industry, but this experience deserves to be reported.
