25/08/2025: It's a restaurant a little far from the center of Taormina. We tried the pasta with meatballs, pasta with pistachios (it was the best), and a rustic frittata and a fried fish dish that left a lot to be desired.

05/09/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time months ago to celebrate my specialization... I ate divinely... Mr. Antonio and all the staff are courteous and professional, you feel looked after, advised and pampered... My children often talk about it and always want to go and so do we, in fact we went back yesterday for my little one's birthday.... Excellent food and excellent.... The marinated appetizer was exquisite, the very fresh mussels and so much kindness.... In short... We can't wait to go back 🌹

20/08/2025: Highly recommended for those who want to eat well, feel at home, and spend very little. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and warm. As Giancarlo said last night, at his restaurant, we're all equal, and he treats everyone like one big family. The quality of the fish is excellent, and all the ingredients are treated with love, and it shows! When the bill arrived, my wife and I looked at each other in disbelief, thinking it was a mistake... They thought they were paying at least double! I'll recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania! Warm regards to Giancarlo, Filippo, and all the other staff members!

02/09/2025: Disgraceful lunch: 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 2 shameful grilled dishes with fish that wasn't what they said, they said 3 waters and 1 very normal Altavilla Corte wine. They gave me a discount of 2.00 euros. The owner should explain to me why we have to suffer at lunch and have air conditioning at dinner. For your information, they asked me for 170.00.

14/08/2025: Being from Tampa Florida we know lots about good seafood ! La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta has superb quality of seafood from oysters to mussels to clams and so much more ! We dined at their restaurant and Cettina the head chef along with Maurizio and Bruno were most accommodating helpful and everything was delicious prices were fantastic and location and atmosphere wonderful ! We highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro if you visit beautiful Sicily

02/09/2025: A terrible experience, absolutely avoidable. The owner was rude and annoyed with every request for information about the menu. We waited over an hour for the first course. The food was poor, the staff unprofessional, and the drive along narrow roads (starting from Tindari) with potholes, weeds, and vegetation barely big enough for a car, in the middle of nowhere, only to be treated like crap and eat terrible food, is not worth it for a little view. They gave us bad advice, so one star is a gift. 😡

19/08/2025: Visit this Family owned restaurant with my friends from Catania. It is a traditional Sicilian kitchen food restaurant. Most of the clients are local people and that is sign for very good local kitchen. From pizza , pasta , meat , fisch … great food ! I took grill meat plates. Smells and taste it great . Service is very fast and very friendly. I was the second time here and of course not last time ! It’s like the name of the restaurant says , “ at home of friends “

13/06/2025: Very kind staff, excellent food, everything perfect! We took advantage of a dinner with a smartbox that they had given us, and it was an excellent choice! We also ordered some extra courses because we were tempted by the menu and we were really happy we did! Very fresh fish, really excellent. If we were to pass through Catania again we will definitely go back!

12/08/2025: We stayed 2 weeks in their wonderful hotel, and honestly, every day again, everything was perfect. The modern rooms were always very clean, the personnel was super kind, and they took care of everything you asked. We took a room with breakfast, where you could choose when to have breakfast, and everything was fresh. Dinner was not included in the price, but we chose to often eat in their restaurant. The food is amazing, which attest to the fact that locals come to eat there and that it is always full. I can recommend for people who want to visit more than just the beaches and want a local experience away from mass tourism.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. What truly sets Valleverde apart is the staff. Every single person we met went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay possible. Their restaurant is equally as delicious, from pizza to pasta to their August special the Aperifish - of which we had 3! Amazing place to stay in Sicily, couldn’t recommend more!
