27/09/2025: We had a delicious meal in a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff.

02/09/2025: Very disappointed with the quality of the dishes, charcuterie board and cheese not at all like in the photos, iced red wine and fried octopus without any taste and without any sauce. The owner who speaks very good French told us that the Sardinians never put sauce in their dishes and that all the products were local but after having tried many other Sardinian restaurants, we confirm our feeling of having been taken for fools...

13/10/2025: A restaurant where you feel at home, with friendly staff and delicious food. I really enjoyed the stuffed mussels and octopus. Reasonable prices.

22/09/2025: Good food, pleasant atmosphere, inattentive service, we felt abandoned for more than 20 minutes after the second course and when I complained we were verbally attacked by the owner.

08/10/2025: Twice I got moldy grated cheese. The shrimp on the menu was inedible, it had a very strong smell... Spaghetti carbonara also had a very strange taste. Ravioli and panna cotta, on the other hand, were superb. I wouldn't recommend it for the poor quality and the high price.

02/10/2025: We liked this restaurant so much we visited three times during our 11 day stay. Diverse menu gave a number of choices. Steak done to meet two peoples choices was very good.

13/10/2025: Excellent gluten-free pizzas and a wonderful ambience. It's always busy but since they open up the courtyard on weekends, we were able to be seated twice without a reservation. Service was a little slower when we visited on a Monday, but very understandable considering how busy it was! Definitely visit if you're in Villasimius.

05/10/2025: Terrible service, poor food, the receipt doesn't detail what you consumed. For 7 appetizers, 6 first courses, 2 mixed fried dishes, 1 liter of house wine and water/orange soda, spending around 300 euros seemed excessive to us, mostly because of the quality, which was definitely not adequate.

22/07/2025: The place is surrounded by nature, very quiet, very clean, and the food is fantastic! The staff is truly friendly and welcoming, in short, a rare gem. The fish dinner was fantastic with portions triple what you'd usually see. The quality of the raw materials was superb. The sweet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I'd like to point out that, although he was in no way obligated to do so, the owner, seeing me having trouble with a car problem, not only went with his vehicle to retrieve a spare part but also installed it without asking for anything in return. I will never thank him enough for this gesture, which goes far beyond hospitality and professionalism... Thank you again, Mr. Alberto!!! 06/11/2025: We stayed for almost two weeks, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the premises, with a few additional spaces just outside. The grounds were well-maintained, but it was a shame there wasn't a circular path. The location right on a large lake sounds beautiful, but when full, it dries up and has a large rim lined with withered trees. Previously, you could drive around the lake, but now the road to the hotel is a dead end. Breakfast was really not good. Every day, the same two types of sausage and one type of sliced ​​cheese. The jams, as is so often the case in Italy, were simply sweet and tasteless. The boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the scrambled eggs were too runny. The "workout room" is a pavilion with two treadmills. Our room was at the lowest part of the complex, which was a bit of a challenge with large suitcases due to the steep slope. When it got dark, you had to use your phone's flashlight because parts of the path were very poorly lit. This was a bit dangerous, especially on the steps.

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.

21/10/2025: The waiter was very friendly and attentive, until I saw the parking tickets while I was finishing my beer in a relatively short time. Shame on Italy, what has happened to it? Tolerance and generosity are new foreign concepts. I'm sad, but the prices match the country's greed and power.

01/11/2025: Disappointing. As we'd say back home, this place is a case of "wanting to be something it's not." The food is quite average for the price: the fregula and chiusoni were nothing special; we had much better ones at other restaurants during our trip to Sardinia, and for a significantly lower price. Overall, everything at this restaurant has the "look" but lacks the "substance." It's pretty representative of Porto Rotondo in general: lots of "celebrity" nonsense, and in the end, nothing special.

02/10/2025: Excellent dinner featuring a remarkable amberjack ceviche and a good fish and shellfish soup. Perhaps a little too soupy, overpowering the underlying flavors. The white wine served was good, as was the myrtle dessert.

10/10/2025: Even in Italy, you sometimes have to come across pasta that's bland and lacks any character. I don't recommend our pasta selection. The rest was okay, the service and atmosphere of the place itself were impeccable, but the food was subpar.

01/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a lovely little terrace. The welcome was warm and welcoming. Excellent wine list and refined cuisine. We saw one of the chefs picking herbs in the small garden 😍. The dishes we ordered were delicious and the prices very reasonable.

16/10/2025: We ordered for pickup. The food was ready on time, well packaged, and the portions were generous.

15/10/2025: It's become a guaranteed success. The meat and fish menus are excellent, with generous portions. The desserts are also very good! The prices are in line with what's offered. The staff is very friendly and offers fast service. I definitely recommend it!

11/09/2025: We were welcomed in the lobby by the polite, friendly, and professional staff, who made us feel at ease. The deluxe room was welcoming, spacious, and above all, spotlessly clean. The resort is quiet, well-maintained, and meticulously maintained. Located a few kilometers from the center of Sant'Amtioco, it's easy to reach. Breakfast, served poolside, was simple but designed to please everyone. All in all, a great experience ♥️

20/07/2025: We spent two nights in this enchanting place nestled among rocks, olive trees, and oleanders, halfway between Sant'Antioco and Calasetta. The rooms are in individual annexes with a large outdoor space. The entire property is tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. Breakfast is excellent, served overlooking the pool under a beautiful portico. Monica is a force of nature, available on all fronts, cheerful, and ready to accommodate every need. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy this unspoiled and authentic corner of Sardinia.
