10/10/2025: Bad choice, having read positive reviews I trusted the mussels au gratin burnt!!! Perhaps prepared previously and therefore reheated!!! Never again

08/10/2025: We have booked a table at this place basing on the Google reviews. Pizza and mussels menu looked very attracting. Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed with both service & dishes. Starting from uncomfortable chairs to extremely sluggish service and untasteful oversalted mussels. There are many much better places around.

15/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant right on the beach. Truly well-designed and a feast for the eyes. The food was excellent on several days. They even cooked me a special vegetarian meal because the menu didn't offer anything. The service is very friendly and speaks good English! We highly recommend this restaurant, especially the pasta with lamb ragù.

11/10/2025: Gorgeous place on the beach. Excellent pizza made with high-quality ingredients. Mixed fried fish with fresh local fish. Excellent wine. What more could you ask for? Not to mention the hospitality of the owners, wonderful people with a wealth of experience.

15/11/2025: A very beautiful place, with beautiful sunsets and even a disco in the evening. A bit pricey for what it offers, but that's out of fashion. (We paid €110 per person for entry, including a drink.)

29/10/2025: Whatever the cost of the night, it's undeniably one of the most beautiful nightclubs in the world. The location is unique and captivating. Prices vary depending on the night and the release you catch. In the summer, there's a different international DJ every night. Parking is €20, but if you feel like walking, there are free parking spots further away. Drinks are €20, but they're good quality. Incredible place.

04/11/2025: have never in my life experienced such poor and rude service in a restaurant. I ordered lasagna, which was completely burnt on the bottom and had no béchamel sauce at all. The coffee was good, though. I visit Sardinia often, but I will never return to this restaurant again.

12/10/2025: Overall, the food was good. The fregole were very salty, and still cost €25 per dish. The service was fast and honest.

07/11/2025: We went for lunch today, recommended by another restaurant owner. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and tidy, and the staff were friendly and cheerful. We ordered grilled pecorino, lobster linguine, malloreddus, octopus, and tiramisu. Everything was truly fresh, the fish was truly flavorful, and the octopus melted in our mouths! We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place!

22/09/2025: If you like white, clinical and an atmosphere of a mortuary, than, yes you'll like this place. The food is good but one dish called something like culurgiones (with is something like ravioli) looks ridiculous with 4 little tiny things on a big plate and it would be just enough to fill a mouse. The staff are uninterested to speak to the customer cold and unwelcoming.

18/09/2025: If you’re visiting the area, This is a must stop. The food is impeccable! Fresh, tasty - the best of Italian. The staff is super friendly and the venue cosy.

13/10/2025: A bit hidden away, but fantastic. Beautifully presented, a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and superb cuisine. To finish, we had a Caffè Corretto San Buco. Absolutely delicious.

08/10/2025: Recommended by a local, this restaurant was a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, perfect for those traveling with children. We were two adults with an 11-month-old baby: the waitress was attentive, helpful, and helped us find dishes suitable for him. We shared an appetizer and a first course, then two second courses (one off the menu) recommended based on seasonality. All the fish dishes were excellent: very fresh, carefully cooked, and truly delicious. The house wine was also excellent. We finished with a homemade seada and a glass of myrtle: a perfect finale. We felt welcomed and at ease, which isn't always a given when traveling with a small, lively child. Excellent food, quality fish, and impeccable service. Highly recommended—and if we return to the area, they'll definitely see us again!

14/10/2025: Stunningly beautiful hotel. Breakfast was well-prepared and everything was deliciously fresh. The evening meal was fantastic, and everything was freshly prepared. And the people who work there are super nice.

13/10/2025: A hotel with hidden charms. I stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. While I had to get past the decorum, it's certainly not unpleasant; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are spotless and the amenities are excellent. Of all the hotels I've stayed in on this island, the staff here are the most welcoming and approachable. This hotel is definitely recommended!

24/10/2025: Il Vecchio Pirata: a journey through flavor and magic by the sea. We had the pleasure of dining at the "Il Vecchio Pirata" restaurant, and the experience was simply enchanting. The dining room overlooks the sea, and thanks to the large windows, the view is breathtaking, making every moment a living painting. The atmosphere is unique; the location makes you daydream about being aboard a pirate ship, where the "pirate" escorts you to Neverland: an island of flavors, aromas, gastronomic delights (and more), and full of magical sparks. It's the ideal place to enjoy a moment of relaxation, laughter, and intimacy. An experience that pampers the senses and the soul. The dishes we chose were excellent. Delicate flavors yet satisfying to the palate. Everything was accompanied by a crisp white wine. Dessert was equally impressive: a soft and exquisite tiramisu, a sweet conclusion to our lunch. Highly recommended! An oasis of taste and serenity.

29/10/2025: We were there in September and it was truly a gem. The food was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. We spent a wonderful afternoon on the terrace. Highly recommended if you're in Fertilia, as I don't think there's another place quite like this restaurant.

24/10/2025: Went for lunch. Was told much of the menu wasn't available as it was lunchtime(!), including pizza not offered at lunchtime for some strange reason. Annoyingly we only found this out after trying to order. All very odd despite being called Ristorante "Pizzeria" il Paguro! Roasted boar also wasn't available which was my second choice. So in the end we were left with a very limited selection of lunchtime choices which was disappointing. Outdoor patio gazebo is very nice to sit in, but unfortunately the roof structure helps the cigarette smoke to linger for all the non-smoking patrons while eating. Service seemed abit off to me, they weren't particularly busy at all but it almost felt like they were overwhelmed. Desserts were good, though nothing exceptional enough to make me return. I have many favourite restaurants in the Alghero/Fertilia area so don't think I'll be returning il Paguro.

18/09/2025: I often stop at this bar, both for breakfast and lunch. They have a wide selection of dishes, each one better than the last. The staff is wonderful; they welcome you with a smile and are disarmingly kind. The quality/price ratio is fair. The place is clean. Highly recommended.
