07/07/2026: Went there for my birthday dinner. Staffs were very kind and welcoming. They don’t speak fluent English but able to manage and give suggestions. Food was so yummy and at very reasonable price. My wife requested for a candle light desert to surprise me and the female staff very well executed the request and surprised me. A big shout to the staff, sorry didn’t get her name. Restaurant has beautiful view and has lot of free parking. Higher recommended .

06/07/2026: The restaurant-pizzeria certainly has an enviable location, but the service definitely leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, this evening, around 9:00 PM, my husband and I were greeted abruptly and rudely: the young waitress who greeted us at the entrance, after realizing we didn't have a reservation, arrogantly directed us to a table inside, right under the pizza counter! To my disappointment, since the restaurant-pizzeria was clearly half-empty, she pointed us to another table in the center of the room, still in an annoyed manner. We then asked if it was possible to have two large salads and were told, "This is primarily a seafood restaurant." At that point, we left. I believe that in the restaurant business, kindness and courtesy towards customers are important, in addition to the quality of the food. I remember stopping at this place a couple of times a few years ago while passing through, and having a good experience. Perhaps it was the old management? Dear Sir, I appreciate that you care about your wait staff, but I reiterate that the young waitress was rude to us. The problem certainly wasn't whether or not your restaurant-pizzeria menu included salads (we would have ordered something else, like first courses or, why not, fish...), but rather the annoyed and unkind tone of the waitress when we walked in without a reservation. As I mentioned, she showed us a table UNDER the pizza counter. It was nine o'clock, and the place was half empty, both inside and out. Not to mention the sea view, which, by the way, I didn't dare ask for! So, would customers with reservations have filled it up in a matter of minutes, leaving only the most inconveniently located tables free? Maybe... Have a good day.

10/06/2026: Wow, super duper good local food with perfect service ✨

06/06/2026: We arrived relatively early, shortly before 7:30 pm, so we still had a good selection of tables for two. The service was quite quick; we received two business cards with QR codes, as well as a physical food and drink menu. Unfortunately, it was only in English and Italian. Since I speak Italian, it wasn't a problem for me to understand the menu. Unfortunately, only large bottles of water were served. The beer was served in an iced glass – a nice touch. The starter, a mixed salad for us, was prepared for two people upon request, meaning each of us received a separate plate with the salad. The main course, spaghettone con frutti di mare, was excellent, served with a small plate and a refreshing towel. Kudos! My partner's calzone was also excellent. The wines (Cannonau di Sardegna / Vermentino di Gallura) were served beautifully by the glass. The crema catalana pâté e riduzione al mirto was simply divine. I can personally highly recommend Ristorante La Sciumara. The service staff are attentive, courteous, polite, and very competent.

04/05/2026: Excellent food, friendly and welcoming staff, trust Matteo's advice if you don't know what to choose, we had a great time and ate very well, we will definitely go there when we return to Carloforte

12/12/2025: Pizza that looks like a cracker...how can they call it pizza...should I call it crackers or a snack...if it had been called a cracker with tomato and mozzarella then I would have accepted it

30/12/2025: A delightful pizzeria in Tempio's town square. Simple and welcoming, the service is prompt. The "Il Pendolino" calzone is truly delicious, filled with mozzarella and gorgonzola and topped with generous amounts of prosciutto, arugula, shaved parmesan, and cherry tomatoes (and washed down with unfiltered Ichnusa). Reasonable prices.

30/12/2025: The pizza is good, even the gluten-free one! The staff is super friendly and helpful! It's ready quickly.

22/05/2026: The hotel is well-located and central, yet we were able to park on the street every day without any problems. It's nicely renovated and comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant because we went on a day trip to the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We would definitely return.

22/05/2026: The central location is excellent for the feast of Sant'Egidio on May 1st. The breakfast isn't the best, it's standard. But the staff is always helpful. The rooms aren't bad, a little dated but comfortable. Antique in the beautiful sense. In any case, there are some valuable collectibles. Kudos to the owner for that.
