10/08/2025: Great, charming, well decorated hotel; perfect location for the old city, the train and bus station; friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable, spotless and quiet. Good breakfast and we enjoyed the displays of the vintage toys displayed on the staircase. Because it is located in the city there is no parking available at the hotel itself but they have a limited amount of discount vouchers for the nearby secure car park (call ahead, perhaps) - otherwise, as we did, you have to pay the full amount, 1.80 euros/hr. A free car park is a little further away but it’s not secure so don’t leave anything visible in the car.

20/07/2025: We spent two nights in this enchanting place nestled among rocks, olive trees, and oleanders, halfway between Sant'Antioco and Calasetta. The rooms are in individual annexes with a large outdoor space. The entire property is tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. Breakfast is excellent, served overlooking the pool under a beautiful portico. Monica is a force of nature, available on all fronts, cheerful, and ready to accommodate every need. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy this unspoiled and authentic corner of Sardinia.

15/07/2025: Beautiful property, very well-kept and clean, surrounded by greenery with a large, quiet pool. The apartment was equipped with every comfort, and we spent a very relaxing weekend! Monica and her staff were attentive, kind, and very helpful! We felt right at home; I highly recommend it!

01/09/2025: The wait time for a waiter and for the meal (over an hour, even after an intervention) is unacceptable. The staff pretends not to see the customers, which is unpleasant. The food is very good. Congratulations to the chef for the clam chowder and gnocchi, but with service like this, customers will only come back once!

31/08/2025: A very bad experience. We arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 pm and had to wait over an hour to be served... just for the starter! What's more, we were informed very late that the dish we had ordered was no longer available. Thirty minutes later, they came back to us to take our order, and once again we had to wait over 30 minutes to be served. After the starter, it was the same old story: another 30 minutes before we got the rest. As a result, we left the restaurant after 10:30 pm. The quality of the food didn't make up for the wait: • The pasta was literally swimming in an inedible olive oil sauce. • My partner's pizza had no tomato sauce and burnt mushrooms. The worst part: no one paid us any attention despite our repeated interventions. We spent an hour nibbling at bread even though the restaurant wasn't even crowded. Other customers who arrived after us were lucky enough to be served in just 20 minutes. Frankly unacceptable. We came hungry and eager for a good meal served properly, but we left frustrated and disappointed. Avoid! The city is full of much better restaurants.

22/08/2025: Beautiful location with a view, but terrible food! Prices are too high, and the staff is unfriendly!

21/08/2025: I went to visit a friend and he convinced me to stay there for lunch. It's a truly charming little place, I recommend it. Reservations are appreciated.

31/08/2025: Place is very clean and food looks gorgeous. Seafood is their best part, but pizzas are also good. Starters are very interesting, but you'd better ask those made the same day. Wine was really nice as well as the overall atmosphere. Young staff willing to explain and suggest you what to pick up from the quite long menu. There is some parking place and some areas for children.

08/09/2025: On September 7th, I asked for a half-day at the beach. The answer was €60, the first day. I was perplexed, so I asked about the other rows. The answer was €40 for the last ones, for an umbrella and lounger. They specified that they only offer a full-day stay. I looked around and saw the loungers all very close together (surely the regulations allow it), and the free beach was practically nonexistent. The location was exceptional, but... I think and hope they'll soon implement the Bolkstain law and all the concessions will be auctioned off. It couldn't get worse.

14/05/2025: I think this restaurant is pretty underrated in Sardinia ! Mario provided excellent service, was attentive and super kind! Besides the service being amazing , the food was also very good. Prices were fair and the portions were perfect . I need to give a shout out to Roberto for the amazing passion fruit spritz !! They were so good, if we could we would’ve ordered a jug !! Was definitely worth a stop to eat here !

14/08/2025: We tried this trattoria one evening in August after some online research. It has a familiar and intimate atmosphere with just a few tables, and you dine outdoors in a small internal garden. Unfortunately, the menu offers little variety. We ordered a tasting of five appetizers, which varies according to availability. We then tried two meat-based first courses (not particularly good) and two excellent desserts, a honey seadas and a chocolate and pear tart. The final bill was a bit above average for a trattoria. Parking nearby.

06/08/2025: The food was delicious, especially the culurgiones. The buffalo burrata was okay. The atmosphere is pleasant, even if the staff sometimes seems a bit stressed. Overall, a good restaurant that we can recommend.

05/09/2025: This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise! The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was fantastically delicious - it is obvious that it was made with fresh ingredients and with care. Real Italian flavors. The atmosphere is homey, yet elegant, perfect for a dinner with friends or even a romantic evening. I would especially highlight the kindness and professional service of the waitress Izabella!

05/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ristorante Pizzeria Ramblas is simply the best choice in all of Sardinia! 🍕 The owner, Izabella, is of Hungarian origin, and is always incredibly kind and attentive. The pizza here is phenomenal, every time we've been there it's always been perfect - the real Italian atmosphere and taste. I don't understand why anyone would give a negative review, as the food is impeccable, the service is friendly, and the place is very cozy. I can only recommend it to everyone - I think they make the best pizza in all of Sardinia!

25/08/2025: Top-notch restaurant! Fresh fish and well-cooked, so much so that we returned the next evening. Very friendly waiters and excellent service. My only criticism is that the fried calamari could be improved; it wasn't up to par with the other dishes; but it was still good quality.

21/08/2025: I expected something more from the typical Alghero paella, but all in all, the other dishes were good! The waiter was perfect in every way, and the restaurant is centrally located, lovely.

13/08/2025: We waited an hour for bruschetta, fried fish, and a portion of fries. The bruschetta was made with bagged bread, which was also soggy and had random ingredients. The fried fish was cold, the orziadas were frozen and served as if they were fresh, and the waitress responded in kind rather than understanding the needs of a dissatisfied customer. I strongly advise against it for anyone who doesn't want to spend money and eat poorly.

13/08/2025: What can I say?! I happened upon Oristano, Sardinia, by chance, and I happened upon this lovely restaurant. There's seating both inside and outside. What struck me most was the very professional and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
