08/11/2025: Oh my, Blu Notte never fails to surprise. I have visited Lecce over the years and Blu Notte never fails to satisfy with it's delicious seafood. I recently took my friends to Blu Notte and had the famed grilled porcini mushrooms in a garlic olive oil dipping sauce, a speciality at this time of the year, an amazing seafood salad with lots of prawns, cuttle fish and mussels, and a grilled sole. Everything surpassed my expectations. My friends had a raw seafood salad and a seafood pasta loaded with an amazing variety of fresh seafood including langostine. I am never disappointed at Blu Notte. The staff are friendly, and engaging, and the atmosphere is beautiful with its vaulted ceilings and elegent atmosphere. Thank you for another incredible dining experience.

05/11/2025: Excellent restaurant in the heart of the historic center! The setting is elegant under the stone vaults, the service attentive, and the cuisine of high quality. We particularly enjoyed the antipasto di mare, composed of five seafood preparations – generous and enough to share between four people. The panna cotta deserves a special mention: a light and natural texture, resting on a bed of crisp biscuit, enhanced with a fruity glaze and decorated with a crispy roll. A true Italian dessert, both refined and balanced, far superior to what you often find elsewhere, for example at Lusso in Switzerland. An address to recommend without hesitation for discovering the gastronomy of Lecce. 😋 Note that we were so satisfied with our meal that we returned the next day.

The estate is an enchanting, elegant, and welcoming place, but what makes it truly unique is the extraordinary attention to every detail. From the setup to the timing, from the impeccable service to the quality of the food, everything was perfect. They took care of every detail with great professionalism and passion, making us feel at ease and pampered at every moment. Our guests were thrilled: the magical atmosphere, the delicious dishes, and the kindness of the staff made the day unforgettable for them too. For us, it was truly special to be able to experience such an important event without worries, knowing we were in the right hands. 05/11/2025: We were in Gallipoli on a tour of Sardinia and had dinner at this typical restaurant. Everything was delicious, and we had excellent service. I recommend everyone visit Gallipoli and stop at this truly interesting restaurant.

20/10/2025: We visited Rubino restaurant in Gallipoli while trekking in Salento; it's an excellent place for a seafood dinner. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, suitable for both couples and friends. The seafood is fresh, well-cooked, and carefully presented. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'd say it's a solid choice for quality seafood in the city.

16/10/2025: An excellent discovery! While passing through the region, we preferred to travel a few kilometers to get away from the coast, and we did well! An excellent discovery; we were very well received and the food is delicious; the dishes are homemade and tasty! Bravo! Don't hesitate to travel a few kilometers into the Santa Cesarea countryside for a treat!

15/10/2025: I always return to Rocci with great pleasure. The dining room service is perfect. The chef often asks diners how he can satisfy their needs while always achieving the highest quality in his dishes. Since I come regularly, however, I find the dishes need a bit of innovation. Even cyclically, they could use updating or revisiting (I hope this is constructive criticism). Prices, alas, are a little above average.

18/11/2025: Both the first and second courses were delicious. The wine from their cellar and the lemon and ginger sorbet were excellent.

03/12/2025: Today we were guests for a ceremony at Osteria Briganti. The restaurant is located in the inner part of old Gallipoli; a very traditional and typical little place. The staff was formal and well-dressed. The coordination between the various appetizers, first courses, and second courses was excellent, despite the number of people in the room. A particularly polite and friendly young man served us during lunch. What can I say? I highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: This place was discovered online. What can I say? Excellent food, spaghetti with shrimp tartar and crumbled tarallo, the Topppp. The house antipasto was fabulous. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. The staff were attentive and the value was excellent. We'll be back with great pleasure.

A place that takes you away from reality, both for the beauty that surrounds you and the quality of the food served. I think I made the best choice for the location, the food, and the staff. My mom was so happy to celebrate her birthday here. Congratulations again!

06/11/2025: Ristorante Underground lives up to its name: nestled in a vaulted stone cellar, it offers an intimate and unique atmosphere. The menu features local dishes with a modern twist, all beautifully presented and delicious. The service is attentive and warm, contributing to a relaxed ambiance. I ordered an excellent pan-seared fish fillet in a crust: the waiter told me it was monkfish, but I think it was actually sea bass. The price is reasonable for the area, especially considering the unique setting and the quality of the ingredients.

The quality of the ingredients and the high-quality cuisine are all at prices in line with the area. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Ask them for advice on the catch of the day; it's worth it.

10/11/2025: Diner with my love. It’s a cold night here in Gallipoli, 20 degrees but with a cold wind coming from the sea! Totani are a type of flying squid, similar to calamari, but they are not the same. While both are common in Italian cuisine and often confused, they have distinct differences in texture, flavor, and how they are best prepared. As an entrée. Tagliolini pesce spade con curvumen and swordfish for me.
