19/08/2025: Order: Bombette - Turnip tops and fava beans - Orecchiette with horse meat strips - Burrata-filled ravioli A welcoming place and truly delicious food from the first course to the last (except for the turnip tops and fava beans, which left a bit to be desired). The only inconvenience was the unfortunate discovery of a chip in my orecchiette, probably used to make orecchiette by the pasta factory the restaurant had purchased. However, I must emphasize the superb service I received once I pointed out the incident. The chef himself came out to apologize and offered to remake my dish. It must be said that it was good the first time it was served, but even better the second time (with more horse meat ragù and less tomato sauce). In addition, I received a €10 discount on my bill. All things considered and an accident that can unfortunately happen to anyone, this place is highly recommended for an intimate dinner in the centre of Lecce.

04/09/2025: I was impressed by the variety of ideas brought to the table, dishes carefully crafted, presented, and described in detail, flavors enhanced by sometimes unusual condiments and sauces. The wine list also boasts a good selection. It's difficult to choose a favorite, but the rice boiled in fish broth with raw fish absolutely delighted my palate, a perfect balance of savory, smoky flavors, a hint of spiciness, and the perfectly cooked grains. After dessert, the Chef offered us a taste of his creation featuring pine cones and walnuts in sweet sauces.

07/08/2025: Una chicca nel cuore di Galatina, situato in una piccola piazzetta caratteristica, è un ristorante elegante, silenzioso, con uno staff super gentile e tutto al femminile! Il cibo è ottimo, con piatti particolari ma che richiamano sempre la tradizione. Per non parlare dei dolci...super consigliato il semifreddo con linfa di mandorle! È uno di quei luoghi che ti lasciano tanta nostalgia e tanta voglia di tornarci!!

Ogni assaggio delle pietanze, curate sotto ogni aspetto è un’esplosione di gusto, un mix irresistibile di sapori, sapientemente consigliati dal proprietario accogliente, preparato e gentilissimo! Il tutto ‘condito’ da un servizio eccellente. Da provare assolutamente 💞

20/08/2025: Excellent food, super friendly waiters, and fast service. We had a great time. I recommend the mixed antipasto. The ravioli and seafood pasta are the first courses. Compliments to the chef.

19/08/2025: The house specialty is an absolute must-try. Both for its preparation and quality. The staff is very young, but all very helpful and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back.

21/08/2025: A truly excellent seafood dinner: fresh dishes, meticulous attention to detail, and authentic flavors. The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly, without ever being intrusive. Special praise goes to the owner, who is incredibly kind and helpful, and who makes every guest feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend this experience and can't wait to repeat it!

01/09/2025: Great place, we had a great time at Anima e Cuore. Smiling and attentive waiters, very pleasant. The dishes were very good, up to our expectations. A menu offering pizzas as well as typical Salento land and sea specialties. I recommend 100%!

16/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castro's Underground was a wonderful discovery. The ingredients are excellent, with incredibly fresh fish and a truly overwhelming flavor. The first courses are plentiful and flavorful, served with great care. The staff is extremely kind and always available, while the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The quality-price ratio is incredible: you spend very little compared to the high quality of the dishes served. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back!

09/09/2025: First evening on holiday, found on Google, very nice place with ample parking, equally beautiful location, stunning sea view, dinner a little disappointing for the price paid, also misunderstanding about a €19 appetizer recommended for two and paid €38 I pointed out to the waiter, he replied that the price referred to per person.

04/09/2025: Excellent dishes to enjoy with a sea view. The octopus millefeuille was excellent, and the first courses were delicious (both the tagliatelle with stracciatella and pistachios and the seafood first course). The waiters and the restaurant owner were both kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

08/09/2025: We had an unforgettable dinner with a breathtaking view. We were two couples and a baby and the staff made us feel completely welcome . We ordered two linguine with lobster (absolutely delicious), four appetizers, four main dishes, two bottles of wine, and four scroppinos to finish — everything was superb. The service was attentive, the seafood fresh, and the atmosphere elegant but relaxed. Perfect for a special night out with friends or family. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!

It would be even nicer if all the tables were set out in the garden, surrounded by greenery, with softer, more diffused lighting instead of the current "stadium lights" 😂😂. With that added touch of charm, the atmosphere would be truly perfect. All in all, a lovely evening.
