26/05/2025: Excelente servicio. Pedimos lingüina con gambas y pulpo asado. Ambos estaban deliciosos y preparados adecuadamente. Disfrutamos de un litro de un vino blanco local con la cena. El sorbete de limón de postre vino con un hojaldre relleno de crema de limón. ¡Increíble! Llegamos cuando abrieron a las 8 pm para encontrar mesas ya sentadas. Podemos conseguir una mesa rápidamente. A las 9 de la noche, había una larga fila en la puerta.

15/05/2025: Siamo clienti affezionati da quasi 10 anni e non mi dispiace affatto percorrere circa 180 km.(tra andata e ritorno), perché comunque si mangia bene con porzioni veramente abbondanti e soprattutto con prezzi vantaggiosi.Grazie allo shef sig. VITO ella signora co dei bravissimi camerieri

15/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a few friends. The food was very good and the prices were decent. We chose this restaurant because of the reviews that mentioned that it was frequented by locals and we wanted an authentic experience. The restaurant has an English menu and the waiter who served us knew English and was very kind. I would come back anytime.

19/05/2025: reunion di amici universitari. ns caro amico ci porta in questo posto che non conoscevo ( e che molto probabilmente dalle recensioni lette, non sapeva avesse cambiato gestione). In 2 parole: qualità cibo buona, razioni non dico scarse ma sicuramente non abbondanti. per quello che si paga non ne vale la pena. non ci ritornerei. si paga anche molto la location che si trova praticamente con una palafitta sul mare. la vista piacevole si . . . ma non sazia! 4 persone 300 euro ( 75 a testa) con una bottiglia di vino bianco, 2 acqua, un plateu di crudo di mare, 4 primi e 2 fritture di pesce. sinceramente conosco posti non sul mare dove mangio pesce e con 85 euro a testa torno a casa che rotolo tanta l abbondanza!

02/11/2024: We recently visited bakery and really liked out croissants with chocolate and just regular one. Unfortunately it was only sweet breakfast option, but nevertheless it was nice to have a bite in the morning. There was a big range of salty pastries. Just take into account that you can only take away there.

13/05/2025: We met a local who recommended this place to us, and we're so grateful because we had a delicious dinner. The service and food were excellent. It's a local favorite for typical food 💕. We had a delicious tiramisu, which I highly recommend. The place is beautiful. I didn't take any more photos because I didn't want to intrude on the people who were eating.

12/05/2025: The food is very good, I had a pizza and the tiramisu is creamy! The service is quite fast, I didn't have to wait long to sit down and eat the pizza (I recommend booking a table at the weekend), the place is well lit and quite large, plus the people who work inside are friendly and kind. I conclude by saying that this place is located near the seafront.

07/04/2025: Ci siamo recati alle 20 con famiglia e amici per mangiare qualcosa al volo. Ci ha consigliato un antipasto della casa. Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti. Vario con tutte portate di prodotti della zona murgiana. Pane ottimo prodotto in casa. Sinceramente dopo l'antipasto eravamo già soddisfatti ma ci siamo fatti convincere ad assaggiare salsiccia e braciole di asino. Davvero una prelibatezza.

15/03/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in 52, soci dell'università delle 3 età, abbiamo apprezzato il menù scelto: 10 antipasti squisiti e abbondanti di tradizione locale come fave e cicoria, sformato di finocchio selvatico, pancotto con cime di rapa, funghi cardoncelli e tanto altro ancora. Ottimo il primo: maltagliati, preparati al momento, con salsiccia e cruschi e superlativo lo sporcamusso. Si aggiunge al buon rapporto prezzo qualità la disponibilità e la cortesia del personale. 28/05/2025: The food was quite okay and beautifully presented—unfortunately, that's the only positive aspect. The wine (rose) was unfortunately tasteless and felt stale. When we pointed this out to the waiter, we didn't get a replacement. The draft beer had a faint metallic taste. The waiters were also somewhat unmotivated and unprofessional.

Villa Menelao was the best choice we could have made, after all it was LOVE at first sight. We immediately fell in love with the professionalism, precision and empathy of Mery who explained everything to us impeccably and who thoughtfully accompanied us on this journey, with Ilaria's smile, with Luana's sweetness, with the maximum competence of the Boccardi family. And then what about the director, Martino, he was a guardian angel: attentive and protective, he made sure that we could enjoy our day without any kind of worries. 01/06/2025: Not having booked in advance, we had to wait almost an hour to get in. It was worth it anyway. The house appetizer was very varied and appreciated by everyone. The second courses (we didn't try the first courses) were also excellent, as were the desserts. The prices were reasonable anyway. Compared to the restaurants we tried in Polignano (4 in total), this was definitely the best!

06/05/2025: The food very good..... For what was there we asked for various dishes but none were available. So I say warn before ordering that certain dishes are sold out. Wine list. Ok let's choose a wine, another one will arrive. Sent back. We ask for a finished prosecco too and opt for another. Once dinner was over we were running out of prosecco. The waiter arrives probably around 11.20pm... He takes away the bucket of prosecco..... It wasn't finished.... Without asking I can take it away. Okay, in the end we pay. To apologize for all the shortcomings they offered us a coffee and half a grappa

04/05/2025: On the occasion of my son's baptism we had lunch at this restaurant. Excellent food in all courses. Excellent quality of raw materials and preparation. Friendly staff, ready and always available. The value for money is excellent.

01/05/2025: The restaurant is very nice and the food is good, but I noticed the flaw described by other users, namely the fact that on holidays the service is really very slow. To be clear, we are talking about an hour and a half from arrival to receive the first courses. Since the place deserves it, this flaw must be corrected. Otherwise the service is polite.
