Terranima is the right place if you're looking for the authentic flavors of Puglia, a traditional atmosphere and menu, and the freshest fish. I recommend the zucchini meatballs to everyone. The service was attentive and attentive, but slow, considering we waited over 15 minutes with only a quarter of the seats occupied by other diners.

Popular trattoria. Packed on Sundays at lunchtime. Lively, family-run atmosphere. Good, rustic, traditional dishes. Large selection of wines, exclusively from Puglia. We chose the best from the list: a 2019 Es Riserva from Gianfranco Fino. Very rich, fruity, and complex, despite its 16.5% alcohol content.

This is a well known, established restaurant in downtown Bari. Despite the rather bright lights, it still maintains a certain charm, and character, and seems to be firmly on the tourist map of Bari.
The traditional dishes seem to be done well (though I am only a visiting 'stranieri'!), nothing too fancy, just reliable home style cuisine...which is the beauty of Puglian food.

We found this restaurant by chance thanks to Google Maps recommendations and were completely delighted!
We arrived at 18:42, we were greeted very warmly and seated without any questions, although we were the first in the hall. Keep in mind that the main flow of guests begins after 19:00, and closer to 20:30 there were practically no free seats - the hall became full.
The interior is very cozy, with an authentic Italian atmosphere. Service is at its best. We tried several dishes (I won't tell you the names in Italian, but I'll add a photo) - everything was incredibly delicious! I would like to separately mention the local white Italian wine, it is excellent.
Overall - a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it!
