22/04/2025: Wonderful hotel! We spent one night in the Foresteria annex and had a superb stay. The property itself is gorgeous, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and fairly priced. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Barolo and perfectly situated for exploring the Alba region’s rolling vineyards. We had a private wine‑tasting and cellar tour led by the excellent Fabio, whose knowledge and experience made for a great visit! Dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight. We ate in a breathtaking 16‑century dining room, and every course was delicious and reasonably priced. Don’t miss their outstanding cocktails, either! I would happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

06/04/2025: Queste giornate di primavera ci hanno invogliato a passare una domenica in famiglia in campagna e come sempre la scelta del Real Castello di Verduno non poteva rivelarsi più azzeccata . Cibo delizioso, gli gnocchi erano superlativi ed anche le carni , vini ottimi , servizio attento e discreto e il tutto circondati da un panorama mozzafiato in un giardino fiorito. Come sempre consigliatissimo !

21/01/2025: Buongiorno, non avendo ricevuto alcun riscontro alla mail inviata direttamente all'indirizzo utilizzato già in precedenza per conferme di prenotazioni e comunicazioni varie, ci permettiamo di riproporre quanto descritto in forma personale a seguito cena aziendale del 3 dicembre u.s.: Buonasera, sono oltre 20 anni che puntualmente nella seconda metà di novembre ci serviamo dei Vostri ristoranti per la cena aziendale "con tartufo" tra soci e clienti primari con grande soddisfazione sia nostra che dei nostri invitati. Purtroppo, ci duole segnalare, che nella serata di ieri, martedì 3 dicembre, abbiamo riscontrato inadeguatezze riguardanti il servizio. Elenchiamo brevemente quanto accaduto: al momento delle ordinazioni dei piatti sono emerse perplessità sulle nostre richieste sia sui piatti a menù che sulla possibilità di gestire la "grattata" del tartufo in autonomia come sempre in precedenza; il primo ordine di vini non è stato accompagnato dalle consuete entrèe di benvenuto (almeno i grissini); la prima bottiglia di barbera è stata consumata "a secco"; richiesto il tartufo da scegliere abbiamo dovuto domandare la bilancia per la nostra solita opzione di verifica del peso seguendo una prassi per noi consolidata in quanto per esperienza preferiamo proporre in abbinamento ai piatti la "grattata" ai nostri ospiti; prelevati dal vassoio con le nostre mani c'è stata negata la possibilità di utilizzare l'apposita taglierina... non abbiamo francamente capito il motivo, forse ne era disponibile una sola? Sorvoliamo sulla ripetuta osservazione di mancanza del pane e dei condimenti sulla tavola, ma riteniamo inammissibile la non sostituzione dei calici al cambio di vino in una enoteca del Vostro livello. Per ultimo, il prezzo del tartufo era sensibilmente diverso da quanto comunicatoci la settimana precedente nella quale non abbiamo potuto prenotare causa indisponibilità di posti. Abbiamo preferito scrivere queste osservazioni piuttosto che recensire negativamente sui social sperando possano servire a migliorare la Vostra offerta e farci cambiare idea sul prossimo appuntamento.

Pizza for example is very thin, such that it remains raw but at the same time chars on the outside, giving a burnt taste. The starters are made from non-top quality ingredients. In fact, from the open kitchen you can see a vast variety of frozen foods (not indicated on the menu). The prices, taking into account the quality and quantity, are excessive. Usually the place is not very crowded, but the waiting times are still high.

03/04/2025: Wer in Alba ist muss unbedingt in dieses Restaurant! Ich habe selten solch ein kulinarisches Highlight erlebt wie hier. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, der Service top und auch die Herzlichkeit der Angestellten findet sich selten wie hier. Neben hervorragenden Essen findet sich auch eine top Weinauswahl bei der für absolut jeden etwas dabei ist. Für mich ist ein Besuch dieses Restaurants jedes Mal wenn ich in Alba bin ein absolutes Highligt!

15/04/2025: aggiungerei una magnifica terrazza, con una vista invidiabile sulle vigne e a due passi dal centro di Castiglione. non è però un ristorante: non ci sono primi, non ci sono secondi e credo neanche ci siano dei fuochi in cucina: antipasti freddi e scelta super limitata ai classici del territorio. il tutto ai prezzi di un pranzo completo in osteria! potrei anche comprendere il tutto, vista anche la ricca scelta di vini che perdona ogni cosa, ma 1 non si prenota 2 la coda è interminabile. semplicemente, meglio altro; magari da fermarcisi nell’ipotetico giorno con pochi clienti e tavolo casualmente libero, non lo consiglierei però a un amico che deve recarsi a Castiglione appositamente per mangiare da Renza.

06/04/2025: Il nostro tour nelle Langhe non poteva che iniziare nel migliore dei modi grazie all’aperitivo che abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare presso il bar Da Renza che si trova a Castiglione Falletto, un piccolo borghetto. Una terrazza panoramica che offre la possibilità di pranzare in tranquillità sorseggiando un calice di vino il tutto accompagnato da buon cibo e un servizio amichebole. Un’esperienza assolutamente da provare se siete in tour per le Langhe.

The bouncer was talking on the radio and saying the owner saw it on the camera, even though it didn't make sense. I asked for a reason why but no one gave us a reason. Then others arrived also dressed in sportswear and in groups of 5-6 boys and entered without problems. I've been there before and the bouncers act as if it were their bar. Starving. The funny thing is that after two minutes another group of guys arrived and they weren't allowed in because the Albanian bouncer remembered that there had been an argument two years ago. The other bouncers had no power, we followed the Albanian's orders. Tonight they lost 8 customers while the place was empty at 01:00.
