Excellent Roman-style pizza, generous in size. Excellent ingredients and a nice balance of flavors. I had the Margherita because when I try a pizza at a new place, I can only judge it by the Margherita. Highly recommended!

08/02/2026: A wonderful place nestled in a fairytale setting. Mr. Alberto (a great mountaineer and ski mountaineer) and his wife Cinzia run the refuge impeccably. To say it feels like home is an understatement: friendliness, hospitality, and quality products are just some of the things you'll find at Balmameris. The cuisine they offer is so good it makes it truly special. My partner and I will definitely be back!
