09/11/2025: This is our second time here, and we've always left very satisfied. The quality and deliciousness of the dishes is superb; the homemade breadsticks, bread, and pasta are truly delicious. Excellent and friendly service, with the dishes delivered promptly (just right). The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, with soft background music that enhances the pleasure of good food! We'll definitely be back in the future!

21/05/2025: I really feel like recommending this optician for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. I have very high myopia and finding a professional who knows how to deal with this type of need with competence is not always easy. In this case, however, I was followed with great attention from the very first moment. I was made glasses with Tokai 1.76 Biasferiche Lutina fine edge Super USC lenses, a very high level both in technical and aesthetic terms. Despite my significant visual defect, the lenses are incredibly thin, light and elegant in appearance, and the final result went far beyond my expectations. The doctor was able to advise me with great care and patience, answering all my questions and guiding me in the best choice for my needs. His technical expertise, combined with sincere kindness, really make the difference. Thanks again for the excellent service!

22/01/2026: Excellent pizza.... That's why I gave it three stars. We were there on Saturday, supposed to be seated at 9, but there was already a half-hour wait. There were a lot of people, and I noticed only one pizza chef working. That's why there was such a long wait even for the pizzas. We expected at least an apology, which never came... We definitely won't be returning, though I'm very disappointed about that, because the pizza is truly delicious. Perhaps the best I've eaten in Savigliano.

08/02/2026: We'd been here a while ago and were impressed by the pizza. We were disappointed that they didn't have any gluten-free options other than salad and a few appetizers/main courses, so those with us had to stick to salad and crackers. Fast service and fair prices.

18/10/2025: Tonight we were not at all satisfied, we ordered two pizzas and a mixed fish appetizer for €16 on the list... the main courses arrived and the mixed fish platter, besides being rather paltry in itself (considering the purchase price), contained within it and all its splendor three prawns in aurora sauce, I cut off their heads and opened their backs: full of intestinal poop. 🤦‍♂️ I called the waiter and explained the mix-up and asked for the plate to be taken back. Damn, you're serving me "three prawns in total and dirty ones too"!?!?!? I made my peace with it and asked for a pizza, obviously when my wife and daughter finished dinner I started. Not good at all, neither praise nor infamy, literally burned underneath. The owner passes by and asks us to leave the table because it's getting late 🫤 (really?!?!?!) No sooner said than done, we immediately get up and go to the cash register. The husband leaves the register and calls the owner... she exhorts us like this: they told me there was a problem, well yes, the shrimp had poop in them, "but I have to charge you anyway"!!! I politely reiterated that I hadn't even touched the dish and, with a photo in hand, I wouldn't eat it with poop on it for anyone. She blushes and only makes me pay the amount due. A real shame, I felt bad just having to mention it..."I would have expected at least an apology", but what can I say, truly disappointing.

15/02/2026: We booked online, left Novello in the evening with a small child, and when we got there, they told us they hadn't noticed our reservation and hadn't done anything to find us a table. The pizza chef almost kicked us out when we asked about the service charge, which is due elsewhere. They could have at least given us the cardboard pizzas there. Anyway, we found a really good pizzeria downtown.

22/11/2025: A restaurant we stumbled upon on the road during our trip: Cavallo Bianco is one of those mountain places where time has stood still, where you don't have to worry about the outdated decor or whether the food is served on classic, outdated white plates. The food was simple but good and plentiful: for €15, we ate two excellent traditional mountain appetizers, a plate of tagliatelle with ragù, and a braciola with baked potatoes. The owners are two elderly people who probably weren't expecting to see outsiders in the area on a cold, snowy autumn day... yet we were greeted with kindness and smiles, told family and local anecdotes, and the owner even helped me put on my coat, just as men used to do in times long forgotten. My husband told me this was our anniversary lunch (which is tomorrow), and I told him that a simple and authentic place like this will always be among my fondest memories.

22/08/2025: Very good little neighborhood restaurant with homemade cuisine. Friendly and efficient welcome. One starter and one main course for 13 euros. Incredible. We'll be back.

07/08/2025: I must say, it's a well-kept bar/osteria with good-quality home cooking. The service is prompt and welcoming. The outdoor terrace, raised above street level, is a pleasant spot for al fresco dining during these warm months. 👍

31/10/2025: Soul is that unexpected bistro-style pub, with friendly and cheerful staff. Andrea, the owner, always has a smile and makes you feel at home. Excellent quality food and rich dishes, refined and truly delicious beers... highly recommended... and the evenings with live music 🍾

09/11/2025: Satisfied. The food was excellent; we had ravioli del plin with meat sauce and tiramisu, which were truly delicious. Fast service, friendly staff, excellent prices. The restaurant is centrally located but on a quiet street. In the future, if we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.

08/03/2026: The room was quite dirty and cold. The bathrooms were clean, thankfully. The price was good. I'd rather skip breakfast; you have it in the bar with other guests who have nothing to do with the hotel. I'd have preferred a private place with a variety of breakfast options.

19/01/2026: The pizza was very good, well-prepared, and a decent size. A little pricey, but considering it's a tourist spot, it's somewhat acceptable. The bison steak was good, perfectly prepared, but a bit small for the €26 price tag. The vegetables were delicious. The service was acceptable, and the place was nice. We have no complaints and would return.

18/01/2026: We booked for 7:20 PM. As soon as we arrived, we sensed a bit of a rush, but we initially ignored it. They casually threw the menus on the table, then after less than five minutes they came to take our orders, and when we showed signs of hesitation, they became impatient. The dishes were good, of course, but before we'd even finished them, they started clearing the table. While some of us hadn't even finished our food, they threw the dessert menus back at us. Then they did the same for the coffees, which they took away while we were still drinking them. Then, the icing on the cake, while I was paying, the owner spoke to his friends as if I didn't exist, saying, "Let's set the table now, the girls are leaving anyway," then turning to me, he said, "You're leaving, aren't you?" Incidentally, we'd been there for about an hour. Meanwhile, while the other people were still at the table, the owner went to the waiter and said, "Let's clear everything away, we have a table reserved, you're leaving anyway, aren't you?" Terrible experience. If you have a table at 8:30 PM, you can't accept other customers and expect them to leave after less than an hour, then kick them out, taking advantage of the fact that we're young. We won't be back.

30/11/2025: Restaurant review The bottle of wine wasn't opened at the table, and the wine wasn't tasted. We didn't choose the truffles (a business lunch specifically to sample white truffles) (as was usually the case), and they weren't weighed at the table before and after grating (as was usually the case). The truffles smelled good but had no flavor: it would have been nice to have asked us beforehand. So the dishes were average. Overall, really disappointing.

29/10/2025: We did not stay here fortunately but were looking for a quick lunch in the village. This was the worst dining experience during our holiday and possibly one of the worst meals ever. After a long wait we got a table. We didn’t expect culinary delights but we thought how hard it is to ruin a soup or a pasta in Piedmont? Both were bland and worst examples of the same dishes on this trip. But it’s the main course which stood out: both short ribs and cod stew were inedible. When the waiter noticed that we left our plates virtually untouched and was told what was wrong he did absolutely nothing about it. Same with the restaurant manager who calmly accepted our money and sounded surprised that their food was bad. Other diners were complaining in the restaurant both about the wait and quality of food. Not sure how you can act as if you haven’t heard this before? Instead she managed to inflate some prices on the bill and we paid over a 100 euros for this disgusting meal. It should be criminal offence to serve such terrible food!
