Fantastic dinner at Il Grecale restaurant! We started with a truly original appetizer: tuna tacos, incredibly fresh and beautifully balanced in flavor. For the first course, tagliolini with yellow cherry tomatoes and shrimp: a delicate yet flavorful dish, truly successful. The second course was the real highlight: fish with asparagus cooked on stone right at the table, an experience as well as a dish, truly special! The wine recommendation by the staff was also excellent, and they proved knowledgeable and attentive throughout the evening. The price, around €60 per person, was absolutely fair considering the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, and the overall experience. Highly recommended.

After our wedding in Asti, we treated ourselves to a few days of pampering, and this restaurant is a perfect fit. We entrusted the menu to the chef; there's little more to say; we hope the photos speak for themselves. Fabulous atmosphere and divine food.

A beautiful place, we ate very well, the service was excellent, not to mention the skill of the staff, very competent and very friendly. We will definitely be back for a quiet Sunday in the vineyards.

Il Grecale is located on a hill in La Morra, overlooking the surrounding landscape. The view is priceless. The location is meticulously maintained, and nothing is left to chance. The chef offers a choice of 4-, 6-, and 8-course surprise tasting menus (available if all guests choose this type of menu) or an à la carte menu, including dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. A true treat for both the palate and the eyes. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

16/06/2026: Stopped by based on some recommendations. A good refreshment spot, we ordered a platter of their cured meats and cheeses, complete with explanations of the types and order of serving; truly excellent. We wanted to purchase their products, which we naturally did. Special cured meats like speck and lamb prosciutto, Barolo wine, and other treats.
19/04/2026: We got two excellent take-away sandwiches.

22/09/2025: It's an excellent restaurant that also offers a couple of guest rooms. Located in a historic building in the hamlet of Frassino, it serves primarily traditional dishes from the Varaita Valley, using local ingredients. The food is truly high-quality without being expensive. I would increase the portions of the first courses, but that's just my personal opinion. The comfort of the hotel section is affected by the structural constraints inherent in a historic building, which nevertheless retains its character. The breakfast is truly excellent, plentiful and made with quality ingredients.
14/09/2025: Excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I wasn't happy with the portions, which were far too small, especially the meat dishes, which should curb your cravings for something savory while you wait for dessert... luckily, the bonèt that ended the meal was simply spectacular! Service was a bit slow, so take your time.
