02/05/2026: What a rip-off! We called to reserve for the same evening and were told there were no tables available before 9 pm. Then, when we said it would be too late for us, they suddenly told us to come right away. When we arrived, most of the tables were free. Once seated, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We asked for sparkling, and the waitress brought us a bottle of St. Pellegrino. After a 10-minute wait, they brought us the menu, and surprise! There was sparkling filtered water for €2.50 and St. Pellegrino for €4.50, €2 more expensive! We already felt ripped off. Then we wanted to order meat and decided to get the meat from the menu at €9.50 per 100g. Except the waitress told us it wasn't possible to order less than 1kg, even though there was no minimum weight indicated on the menu for that particular cut. Looking at the menu, we saw that it stated a minimum of 300g for other meats, but not the one we had chosen. Clearly, this is a restaurant trying to attract customers with misleading information and simply trying to make as much money as possible off its customers. It's worth noting that the waitress insisted we order wine. Under these circumstances, we paid €4.50 for water, which we had barely started to drink, and left. It was a complete rip-off! And according to the reviews, this has already happened to other people. So, don't go there!

12/03/2026: A place that's hard to beat. Everything was top-notch, from the food to the service, to the bill. We arrived late, the only ones we met, yet we were greeted in the best possible way. The only thing I can say about the food is that it has nothing to envy of some Michelin-starred restaurants. The attention to detail, the preparation of raw materials, and the "off-menu" options make it a truly unique place.

I experienced genuine emotion through the flavors and presentation of the plates. The service was impeccable and very friendly. Special mention to Stefano, who brings a cheerful atmosphere while remaining highly professional. We'll be back when we're in the area again!

24/04/2026: A restaurant near the center, very neat and clean, with a casual atmosphere and friendly, approachable staff. You can tell they pay attention to detail. I had lunch with my wife, sharing dishes: fried zucchini flowers, truly light and excellent (no photos, they were eaten immediately); agnolotti with white ragù, very good and perfectly flavorful; cabbage with bagna cauda, ​​truly delicious and very flavorful; traditional veal with tuna sauce, delicious; and for dessert, the bonet, truly delicious. Having a daughter who's a pastry chef, I'm always hesitant to order desserts, but this one was truly top-notch. If I were to pass through Casale Monferrato again, I'd definitely stop by.

Upon entry, a well-stocked bar welcomes you for a delicious aperitif, flanked by a lounge with colorful sofas where you can enjoy it before dining in one of the dining rooms. Simple, comfortable furnishings. Reservations are recommended and appreciated.

02/06/2026: We found this place while walking through the charming town of Bra and, intrigued, decided to pop in. It couldn't have been a better choice. Traditional appetizers with Bra sausage; the gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese and the desserts are unmissable! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of fresh fish is also excellent for the more discerning palate.

02/06/2026: We chose this restaurant somewhat by chance on Google, with no real expectations other than lunch, but we were truly delighted. Exceptional dishes and truly excellent service. We got lost in conversation about local traditions with (who I believe is) the owner, and, probably seeing our curiosity, he offered us the variation on the tagliolini our grandparents used to eat (with red wine). This attention to customer service truly surprised us. I'd give it 6 stars.

07/05/2026: I've been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while, and I finally made it! The choice couldn't have been better; we had a great time. Already on the phone, when I asked if it was possible to have lunch à la carte, even on a weekday (when the set menu is the main attraction), I was impressed by the restaurant's integrity and professionalism. They warned me that I might have to wait. Anyway, we showed up at 12, and I must say they were super professional, and we didn't have to wait at all. We enjoyed a generous Novarese platter (salame della duja, fidighina, sweet and spicy gorgonzola, amazing sweet and sour onions, honey, and walnuts), followed by a delicious tartare (bacon tartare). I chose a beef tagliata with zola and hazelnuts; the meat was perhaps a little tough, but it was tasty. For the side, artichokes with potatoes. The dishes are truly generous. We also had an exquisite dessert, a bonet without chocolate, truly delicious. With an excellent Dolcetto, we reached the pinnacle of satisfaction. Service was fast, professional, and courteous. The bill? Light. We'll definitely be back; we're looking forward to some mouth-watering first courses.

The convenience of free parking nearby deserves a special mention. ​Service and Baking: The staff is meticulous and attentive. The homemade breadsticks and bread (in various flavors) are very popular, a detail that demonstrates great care for the ingredients. ​The Cuisine: The meat served is high-quality, as are the other ingredients. It's been years since a restaurant surprised me so much with its food pairings. For example, the gorgonzola sorbet served with fruit is a masterpiece: a perfect balance where the freshness of the fruit undercuts the boldness of the cheese. Truly remarkable. The Sore Point: ​Unfortunately, the evening was marred by a detail I consider a real lapse in style. Toward the end of the meal, our half-full bread basket (which costs €3) was taken away and replaced with a new, full one, without us asking. Although the gesture might have seemed like a courtesy, I found myself billed for two baskets totaling €6. Regardless of the paltry sum, I find it unfair to charge for an unsolicited "reserve," especially if it's served after the meal is almost over. My only complaint: €44 for an appetizer, first course, water, and a glass of wine seemed slightly above my expectations, though probably in line with current prices in the sector. Overall, a good experience.

A truly beautiful place, full of old-world charm but at the same time with a touch of modernity... the windows overlooking the lake make everything even more charming and romantic!!!! 28/04/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday. When we booked, we specified that we had celiac disease, and they said it was no problem. However, when we ordered, we were told there was only one gluten-free entree on the entire menu. The food was very good, but it would be appropriate to specify that only tajarin with sausage ragù was available as a first course. Since we were told there was no problem and that they would change the type of pasta, I expected to be able to order any entree. The appetizers were delicious, and they offer breadsticks as a substitute for bread for celiacs. The quality of the ingredients is high. Excellent value. The dessert was also very good (we had the hazelnut trio).

27/04/2026: Last Saturday we returned to one of our favorite restaurants in the Langhe, a truly unique and welcoming place. We started with a charcuterie and cheese platter featuring a wealth of local products, all exquisite. Next up was penne with lamb ragù, simply exceptional, truly delicious. The dessert was fabulous! As always, everything was extraordinary: excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm welcome from the owners. A place we truly adore.
