20/11/2025: Eating at this restaurant is a truly unique experience. The place itself is unusual, and the owner even more so. The concept: - No menu; the menu is presented verbally, and you choose between three primis and secondis. For the antipasti, you'll have several dishes laid out on the table in a relaxed, informal style. * A nice touch is the middle course with a spoonful of gorgonzola! - Prices range from 50 to 60 euros per person, including wine. Please note: cash only! Everything was delicious, and Luciano's wonderful atmosphere was a real highlight! A must-visit, but book well in advance.

14/12/2025: Drawn by the stellar reviews, we went to this restaurant. We booked about a week in advance, arrived, and for some reason we didn't quite understand, there was no table. They asked us to wait a few minutes to be seated—no problem, obviously. We waited, and after about 10 minutes, a young woman, who I assume is the manager, told us that we could either sit down immediately but have to leave the table quickly, or we could wait some more. Her tone was hasty and annoyed, not very polite. We decided to sit down and eat quickly. We picked up the menu. Unfortunately, one pasta dish was undercooked, and another had been cooking for about a week. The portions, however, were generous, so I couldn't eat the main course; I only tasted it, but it wasn't anything special and lacked flavor. We ate in record time and left. The place is large, but they have tons of tables packed together. Honestly, I don't feel like recommending it, but it might be better during less crowded periods, who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️

08/03/2026: The best vitello tonnato I've had in Turin! I recommend it especially to those who find it too heavy, because at La Badessa it will be a light memory that you'll take home with you as much as the wonderful piazza in which it's located. I also recommend the knife-cut tartare and the zabaglione. All washed down, of course, with a glass of excellent Barbera. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality, and not least with the friendly service. Finally, the amaro della Badessa, herbs and flowers, is a must-try. We'll see you again soon.
08/03/2026: Great meal and wine. Chose the vegetarian set menu. Very good quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor in the basement room was different but quite quirky.

06/10/2025: Went yesterday with a couple of Thai friends and their son. We arrived late, but a kind and friendly gentleman seated us anyway! I wasn't that hungry, so I only had a really delicious cheese platter. My friends had pasta dishes, which they loved. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I'll gladly go back, I recommend it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

01/11/2025: The restaurant is nestled in a wonderful setting. Unfortunately, we were there in the evening, so we couldn't admire the vine rows unless it was dark. The tasting menu offers three appetizers, one first course, one second course, and a trio of desserts, with the option of a gluten-free first course. With a half bottle of wine (an exceptional Dolcetto d'Alba), we spent €85.

23/02/2026: Soleluna's pizza is a pizza from another era. When you eat it, you can taste the benefits of the long leavening process, the top-quality flours, and Cristian's impeccable handcrafting. These are all aspects that allow you to taste how crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the pizza is. The top-quality ingredients do the rest. I personally had a pizza with spicy salami and gorgonzola (I know... it's not a protected category... but it passed the test with flying colors). The pizza is so good! Excellent beers accompany it, and homemade desserts like meringue, cheesecake, panna cotta, and traditional cakes complete the picture. That's not all: the service is punctual, attentive but never intrusive; Tushal knows how to be discreet and genuinely helpful. The enthusiasm and professionalism of Maria, who welcomed us upon arrival, only makes our return even closer. I can't wait to eat some real pizza again! Thanks to all the staff. See you soon! Stefano
08/02/2026: I ate at noon on Thursday, and the pizza was truly delicious. I called to reserve a table for 1:20 PM, since they close at 2 PM. The owner was very kind. On Friday, I called back to reserve a table, but they didn't answer. When I arrived at 1:20 PM, they told me they'd closed early and wouldn't let me have lunch. The problem, in my opinion, is that if you close early, you should at least answer the phone so customers don't waste their time.

22/02/2026: 🍽️ La Caletta Restaurant Lunch that reconnects with the sea. Homemade spaghetti with sea urchins and crab: full, authentic flavor, without being forced. Grilled tuna, tenderer than butter—perfectly cooked, raw ingredients you can taste. Delicious paranza, fried dry as it should be. An Erbaluce di Caluso to accompany it, balanced and pleasant. Carefully prepared desserts. Coffee to match. The price? No need to ask when quality and service are this good. You come here to eat well. And you leave satisfied.
16/02/2026: We were greeted with professionalism... the appetizers were good and very tasty... the first courses were good but without any fuss... as for the fried fish, we were disappointed; the fried food was dry and crunchy, the only positive note... but the variety of fish was limited to one shrimp and a few squid rings and the rest were anchovies... on the plate there was a paper cone that had absolutely nothing to do with the proposal... and I must add that €25 per dish seems really a lot to me... in any case, we had a good time... but making do...

06/03/2026: I had dinner with two friends last night and we had a great time. The dishes we tasted evoked the aromas and flavors of childhood. I also appreciated the unusual, but no less enjoyable, combination of "bagnet" with tripe and chickpeas. It was a pleasant experience!!!
22/02/2026: A wonderful discovery in this Turin neighborhood. There are actually two establishments, one traditional and the other specializing in fish dishes. A very warm welcome, including a small complimentary snack. The wine was perfect, and the meal, simple yet excellent, had a touch of originality (finocchio and lentil cream). I ordered the Piedmontese tasting menu, which I highly recommend. The portions were just right, and the quality was excellent. The braised beef was incredibly tender. The ravioli del plin were delicious; the delicate filling paired beautifully with the creamy parmesan cheese. Vegetarian options are also available. We'll definitely be back.
06/03/2026: Simply the best place to enjoy a peaceful evening with excellent food. We stumbled upon this place almost by accident. The window display was clean and tidy, and the menu displayed was authentic local cuisine. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile, and the hostess was genuinely kind and courteous. It was clear they care about the individual, even more than the customer. Here, you're pampered from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, serene, with just the right amount of soft lighting to relax your eyes. Pleasant background music played, at just the right volume to accompany the meal but not overbearing, without interrupting conversation at the table. The menu immediately seemed very appealing, with all the dishes definitely worth trying. We opted for a Piedmontese tasting (veal with tuna sauce, ravioli del plin, and braised beef), and to try the rest, we were also tempted by a platter featuring Fassona beef tartare, sausage tartare, and a sliced ​​steak with Piedmontese cheese crostine. Each dish was a delight for the eyes, but even more so for the palate. Each dish seemed so good, flavorful, and perfect that it was impossible for the next to surpass even the most optimistic expectations. Every bite had all the traditional flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly enhanced by the perfect aromas and seasonings. Between courses, a conversation exchanged with genuine human warmth, a smile, something that wasn't the usual pretense of so many places that treat customers with cold and feigned courtesy. Here, the smiles are genuine, the care for the guest genuine and heartfelt. The sausage tartare: a revelation. Not that the Fassona one was any less. A dish that was an experience more than a meal. The veal with tuna sauce, made the old-fashioned way, as the hostess explained to us. Something to try. No mayonnaise... All flavor and substance. Spectacular. The ravioli were "simply" perfect. The pasta was just thick, but perfectly pleasant, cooked evenly. The filling was enhanced by the pasta. You can tell everything is homemade, with top-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship, and they love to create masterpieces. Sliced ​​beef and braised beef... Two excellent meat dishes, simple but expertly executed, each forkful an explosion of flavor. The desserts, once again, are astonishing in their excellence and flavor. A "simple" pear cooked in wine resting on Piedmontese ricotta (something superlative) and a torronata, a nougat cake covered in hot chocolate, resting on a bed of fruit. Here too, one surprise after another, with every forkful. Unfortunately, we live far from Turin... Otherwise, we'd always come back here. Kindness, courtesy, affection, raw ingredients, and culinary skill come together in a place where you can peacefully spend a moment away from the world... What can I say? Thank you, the hostess, the chef, and the team... Besides the excellent dinner, you gave us a wonderful evening. Thank you so much.
