11/06/2025: I got a recommendation for our dinner and the review was great….but!! 10 June 2025, Tuesday, 9.24 pm we been told that kitchen is closed and they cannot help us. It was two restaurant staff ( lady with dark hair and a man). Lady waiter said that they have a big table with the guests (long table in the corner) and they cannot accommodate us. The bar counter on the right was full of dirty glasses and espresso cups. It was 3 tables available. If the owner needs more details about the restaurant I can write more. But don’t tell me please that I went to the wrong place!!!

12/06/2025: Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Easter, various occasions but also very normal evenings... we have known and frequented Bric for many years now and we can only speak well of it from the owners to the chef to the staff. Michele and Maurizio in the dining room are very kind and professional. The summer terrace is a plus, it is enchanting. In winter we have the fireplace which I personally find very romantic. The tables are far apart which is not always a given... The dishes are beautiful to look at but also delicious to eat. They also have a decent selection of wines. A restaurant for everyone, young and old, for couples and families, to celebrate an event or simply for a quiet evening.

21/06/2025: An unforgettable anniversary (unfortunately)!!! As Piedmontese, despite never having heard of this restaurant, we chose it to celebrate our anniversary, intrigued by the location and the menu offered, at the not inconsiderable cost of €70 per person. When booking, I kindly requested a table a little more refined for the occasion and reported my pregnancy, with related dietary restrictions (no meat, fish or raw eggs). I was assured that an ad hoc menu and a “special” table would be prepared. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the special table had... evaporated. No special preparation, we were asked to choose from the few remaining tables, including those exposed to a half-sun on the terrace with umbrellas. We opted for the veranda, on a scorching day, where – despite the presence of air conditioning – it was never turned on. The heat was a recurring theme among the other guests, but the response we received was that “even the staff suffered with us”. A nice gesture of solidarity, of course, but not exactly what one expects during a lunch costing over €140. The courses arrived with very long waits between one and the other - about 40/45 minutes - even though the menu was already defined. Understandable, perhaps, in case of unforeseen events. Less understandable if it is a tasting menu managed by the chef himself and already communicated in advance. Even though I had reiterated my dietary needs related to pregnancy both during the booking phase and upon arrival, I found myself forced to send back four out of five dishes because they contained precisely those ingredients that I had asked to avoid. The most curious substitution was that of the raw meat tartare with... boiled fennel covered in béarnaise sauce (with raw egg included which, at that point, I made my husband eat so as not to send back yet another dish). A substitution that was not only questionable in terms of nutrition and taste, but also not exactly comparable in terms of cost - too bad the price remained the same. Even the dessert was no exception, served with a Marsala sauce. Perhaps in the belief that alcohol, when sweet, is less valuable? In terms of taste, the intent to offer creative and unconventional cuisine is evident, but the balance between innovation and harmony in flavors seemed to be lacking at times. Forced combinations, inadequate consistencies, and a certain tendency to want to amaze at all costs, even at the expense of the pleasantness of the dish. Visually, however, everything seemed excellent, as in the photos that we had also seen from previous reviews and that convinced us to try this place. The final bill also included a second glass of wine that we had never ordered, promptly removed upon our report. A small mistake, which however adds to an overall experience that was poorly cared for and, frankly, disappointing. A lunch that cost us time, money and memorable sweat, but which left us with the certainty that – at least for us – it will be a unique experience. And unrepeatable

21/05/2025: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Relais Villa Pomela, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect escape from the city. The villa itself is charming and elegant, with well-preserved historical architecture and tasteful decor. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean, with a lovely view of the garden. I also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast – fresh, delicious, and served in a beautiful setting. This hotel is a hidden gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and refined stay in the Italian countryside. I will definitely return!

07/06/2025: An unexpected dinner: a truly excellent seafood appetizer, with many small portions, all special (shrimp cocktail, seafood salad, octopus carpaggio, smoked swordfish, marinated salmon, marinated anchovies, and more). I then ate scarpariello (a plate of pasta with sauce, with smoked scamorza and slightly spicy) and my husband the roasted octopus on a bed of potatoes. And finally a lemon delight (for two). And three glasses of Barbera. 76 euros seemed like a good value for money.

26/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato con un gruppo di amici. Pur essendo 30 persone il servizio è stato veloce, preciso e molto simpatico, fresco e sorridente. Pizza con la pasta come a Napoli e fritto misto degno di nota. Se passate da Oleggio fateci una sosta: merita!

17/06/2025: Few restaurants in Turin take care of the details like their high-level location with a selected menu curated by experienced chefs. Excellent choice of wines. Friendly waiting staff always with a smile in particular Pasquale the manager kind person but above all prepared and welcoming. If you want to eat quality I highly recommend.

I highly recommend trying the desserts too, truly delicious. The service is always impeccable. The only suggestion I feel like giving concerns the environment, which could be renovated to further enhance the excellent culinary experience offered.

11/06/2025: Vorweg: Ein Abendessen lohnt sich im Vigneto di Roddi. Vor allem bei schönem Wetter ist der Sonnenuntergang oder der Blick über die Weinberge hin nach Roddi schon fast unbezahlbar. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, die Weinkarte repräsentiert die Vielfältigkeit der Region - auch preislich. Schön fand ich, dass es bei den Barolos drei kleine Flaschen zur Auswahl gab (37.5 cl). Als Einzelreisender ist eine grosse Flasche halt zu viel, auch wenn man vor Ort geschlafen hat. Der eine Punkt Abzug? Nun, das Voressen (Tartar) und der Nachtisch (Zabaione) waren excellent, das Primo (al Ragu) war gut, aber das Secondo konnte mich nicht überzeugen. Die Fleischqualität war hervorragend, aber diese Mischung mit Chips und rohem Ei und Käsesosse? In diesem Gemengelage werden die Chips schneller zu Matsch, als man sie essen kann. Die Essenz, die Idee, was dieses wunderbare Stück Fleisch verkörpern soll, die hat sich mir überhaupt nicht erschlossen. Weniger wäre da sicherlich mehr, denn an der Qualität des Fleisches und dessen Zubereitung lag es nicht.

10/06/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno qui al vigneto di Roddi, posto bellissimo, il cibo è buonissimo e anche ben presentato, la cantina fornitissima è lo staff è molto preparato ed efficiente ma non invadente, consigliatissimo!!! Molto buono anche il gin tonic post pranzo!!
