She personally made herself available to best organize a large dinner with attention to the little birthday girl. Congratulations because finding hospitality like this is not for everyone.

18/04/2025: My name is Luigi, I am 11 years old and I am on holiday in Piedmont, last night I was there and the first thing I saw on the table were the cutlery that looked like gold, very beautiful, easy and comfortable to use, then regarding the food I had taken the mozzarella which was very soft and creamy, the raw ham very good, but above all without a very high quantity of salt, and then regarding the pizza I had taken the bufalina, in which first of all I had eaten the morsels with the sauce together, B-U-O-N-I-S-S-I-M-I and then normally the pizza, which is also excellent. The moral? I would only spend my evenings there.

In the old streets of Cuneo (vid dronero 8c, a side street of the main ancient street of Cuneo, namely via Roma) you will find this little corner of quality. Coffered ceilings and barrel vaults in ancient bricks, a little design that does not overwhelm the ancient, an excellent union between the two worlds. Open kitchen in the passage between one area and another (2 rooms), from which not only the aroma but also the passion of those who cook comes out. The bathroom is well-kept and clean. 08/06/2025: Hotel ubicato in un luogo bellissimo. Camere belle e pulite. Colazione abbondante con prodotti freschi fatti in casa. Il ristorante propone una cucina curata e ben fatta. Personale gentile e disponibile.

01/07/2025: A beautiful location with an atmospheric and unusual interior. Everything was immaculately maintained, including the restrooms. The quality of the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly, competent, and attentive. As a vegetarian, I would have preferred a bit more choice. The selection of good wines was all the more extensive.

30/06/2025: Good, down-to-earth food. The food arrived quickly! Not exactly optimal value for money considering the quantity of the "main courses." Still, the location is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. But: slow service and not customer-oriented. A big no-go: There's no drinks menu. You have to drag everything out of the server.

18/06/2025: Nous avons merveilleusement bien mangé au restaurant La Botte à Stresa. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L’accueil a été chaleureux et sincère, l’ambiance à la fois élégante et détendue, et chaque plat était une véritable découverte de saveurs. La patronne est attentionnée et d’une gentillesse rare. On sent qu’elle met tout son cœur dans son établissement. Le service est fluide, et on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Bref, nous avons passé une superbe soirée, dans une ambiance conviviale et raffinée. Une très belle adresse à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Stresa. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

08/06/2025: Wir haben La Botte aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen besucht. Schön fanden wir die Glaswand zur Küche, durch die man den Köchen beim Zubereiten der Speisen zusehen kann. Leider konnten die Speisen mit dem ersten positiven Eindruck nicht ganz mithalten. Die Karte war sehr klein und bot kaum Auswahl. Viele Gerichte waren eher ausgefallen, sodass für uns letztlich nur das Filet in Frage kam. Für Kinder gab es kein eigenes Angebot – auf Nachfrage wurde lediglich Pasta mit Tomatensoße angeboten, was doch sehr enttäuschend war. Auch die Bitte, das Filet in einer kindgerechten Portion zu servieren, wurde abgelehnt. Als das Gericht kam, war klar warum: Die Portion bestand aus nur vier kleinen Scheiben Fleisch – für den aufgerufenen Preis einfach zu wenig. Meine Vorspeise, eine Pasta, war in Ordnung, die Portion gut, geschmacklich jedoch eher durchschnittlich. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, dennoch stimmte für uns das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Die Portionen sind sehr klein, und besonders Familien mit Kindern finden hier leider kein passendes Angebot. Fazit: Ein Lokal mit schöner Idee und freundlichem Service, aber für uns leider kein Ort, den wir erneut besuchen würden.

15/06/2025: Cozy restaurant in the San Salvario area. It is a typical restaurant of the area where it offers different solutions: from the fixed menu (3 of which one fish, one typical Piedmontese and one vegetarian) to the à la carte menu. The frisella decomposed with mussels and the grissinopoli cooked in a really crispy way are very good. Young, sociable and very prepared staff. Recommended place for a nice dinner in the San Salvario area.

14/06/2025: Restaurant suitable for any diet, with vegan and gluten-free options. From our experience some very good dishes, innovative and well studied between flavors and consistencies, while the "standard" ones are a bit monotonous. Also interesting is the wine selection.

12/06/2025: Locale dall’arredo accattivante e ricercato. Accoglienza e servizio professionali, cordiali, attenti e veloci. Cibo superbo. Ampia scelta di vini locali e non, con una buona conoscenza da parte del personale!

31/05/2025: Wir sind begeistert. Das 6-Gänge-Menü plus Dessert war ein Geschmackserlebnis. Karamellisierte Zwiebel mit Parmesan-Eis. Das war sehr lecker. Der Küchenchef hat immer wieder aussergewöhnliche Ideen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Wir hatten einen gelungenen Abend. Grazie 1000. Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten und bestimmt nicht letzten Mal hier.
