Since it was near my accommodation today, I just went in.
The tall, bald man taking my order made me feel strangely mocked. I muttered to myself, trying to convince myself it was just my imagination. But when I checked the reviews, it turned out I wasn't imagining it.
The food wasn't bad. He didn't come out after that.
Another person, of average height and wearing glasses, was incredibly kind. He packed up the leftover pizza, mentioned he had been to Korea, and even spoke a word he remembered while helping with the payment.
Not all the staff were unfriendly. The seafood pasta tasted like Jjamppong, and the seafood pieces were so small that it wasn't very good.
Hot an americano was only one shot i couldn't taste the water and he could add me a shot coz i told him so

Good service, a renovated yet traditional place with a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the coffee and pastries for breakfast is good. We also had dinner there at another time, and the food was good as well. The prices are a bit high.

I've seen some negative reviews about the staff's lack of friendliness. I went in with a bit of this bias, but personally, I found the staff to be professional and pleasant.

Delicious food. A traditional Milanese restaurant, opposite the station.

Founded in 1931 by the Panzera brothers, this restaurant is conveniently located next to Milan Central Station. Their breakfast items, including croissants, sandwiches, and cappuccinos, are delicious. They have long opening hours and also serve alcohol. The first floor is a café, and the second floor offers lunch and dinner.

I loved the place, the food was excellent, the water came in a sealed bottle, and the quality-price ratio was very good compared to everything else in Milan. I highly recommend it.

Caffè Panzera is one of those Milanese places that doesn't try to be trendy; it's simply a classic. It's been operating continuously since 1931 and is located right next to the Central Station, making it a natural meeting point for locals and travelers alike from the start.
This café has a soul, and you can feel it from the very first moment. The interior captivates with the elegance of old Milan. Many elements of the 1930s style have been preserved, creating an atmosphere somewhat "from another era." It's a place where history blends with the contemporary rhythm of the city.
The decor is classic, but not heavy, rather subtly elegant, with a distinctive bar and pastry shop lending it an authentic feel.
The espresso is excellent, and the croissants (cornetti) are a classic Italian breakfast: fresh, well-balanced, and without unnecessary experimentation. It's this simplicity and consistency that has kept the place's reputation for decades.
This family-run establishment, run for generations, is listed as a historic landmark in Milan. This isn't an "Instagrammable" café – rather, a place that stands by its principles. Many visitors believe it's not the food itself that impresses most, but the atmosphere of continuity and authenticity. Prices are slightly higher than the average Milanese price, which is due both to the location and the place's reputation. However, these aren't "tourist trap" levels – rather, a classic Milan premium for tradition and its location near the train station.
Reviews are mixed, with some people praising the unique atmosphere and quality, while others point to inconsistent service or the mediocrity of some items.
Caffè Panzera is a place worth visiting not just for a coffee or a croissant, but for a hands-on experience of old Milan.
The decor and history create the atmosphere, the coffee and pastries are of a high standard, and the prices, though slightly inflated, are justified by the overall experience.
This isn't the "best in town" in terms of cuisine, but it's definitely one of the more distinctive ones.
