06/04/2025: GOOD FOOD, PLEASANT AND INFORMAL ENVIRONMENT. EXCESSIVE PRICES, ALSO GIVEN THE AREA Definitely a nice place. In a not so welcoming looking working class area. We are at the beginning of Viale Monza, Pasteur stop on Line 1 of the metro. The restaurant is located next to a self-managed social centre. Given the location in a certainly "popular" area, one would expect to find popular prices. Also seen the restaurant, welcoming and rustic, with checked tavern tablecloths. But no: despite the spartan, albeit pleasant, location, the prices are of a high-end restaurant. The restaurant, as the name suggests, offers Apulian cuisine. On the menu the "classics" of the Apulian tradition, from land and sea. On the advice of a friend, also given my "late" arrival, due to a concert you had attended at the Milan Conservatory, I took some troccoli with stuffed calamari. Good, but 22 euros for a not so abundant portion is definitely too much. Since it's squid and not lobster. I finish with a tiramisu. The good one too, and pleasantly served in a glass container. Final bill: 2.5 euros cover charge (the "Italic" duty to which we are accustomed), 22 euros of troccoli (excessive), 6 euros of tiramisu (medium-high), 2 euros of half-liter mineral water (medium-high). Total 32.5 euros. Without wine and coffee. The price would be acceptable in Corso Monforte, but not in Via dei Transiti, a popular area, in a place of this type. The quality is good, the environment is nice. Personally, I won't go back: in Viale Monza there are, not far away, places that offer a fixed price of 12 to 13 euros. And we eat everything. If Italians are so "expensive"... Welcome China! And welcome to the Chinese-run Apulian Trattorias! Prices are cheaper! Since the places I was talking about just now are Chinese-run... I can say, at this point, "China Forever"!

12/04/2025: Ce restaurant nous a été conseillé par une relation professionnelle milanaise. Nous n'avons pas eu à le regretter ! Restaurant traditionnel à la clientèle diversifiée (une grande tablée de professeurs d'université, une famille d'expatriés japonais, un jeune couple, des actifs aisés, etc) . Bonnes gambas en entrée. Excellent bronzino entier (loup de mer) servi en filets avec quelques pommes de terre à l'huile d'olive. Bon vin rouge de Toscane (je voulais du vin rouge) servi au verre pas trop puissant pour pouvoir accompagner un poisson. Une excellente adresse à retenir.

05/04/2025: Fantastiskt god mat och vin. Omfattande meny med allt vad man kan tänka sig ifrån det italienska köket. Vi åt förrätter ostar samt charktallrik som både var omfattande och gott. Till huvudrätt risotto eller fantastisk köttbit med tryffel. Dessutom mycket vänligt bemötande i en riktigt ren, fräsch mysig lokal. Bättre kan det inte bli!

30/03/2025: The food was great, but the service was disappointing. The waitress was unnecessarily rude, criticizing the fact that some of our group of seven only had drinks, despite the restaurant being nearly empty.

06/03/2025: Forty-five years ago we went to S Barnaba to have lunch with the trout alla piota from the farm of the father of the current managers of the extraordinary starred restaurant Lanterna Verde. The chef with his team and the sommelier who guides you through hundreds of labels are the prelude to an absolutely exceptional tasting experience that leaves Italian and foreign customers amazed (there are now many guests who come down from Saint Moritz to dine at Villa di Chiavenna). The Tonola family represents a reality of entrepreneurial excellence

11/04/2025: Frankly, I find it unacceptable to book a hotel room (NO hostel, NO b&b) without the opportunity to have an air conditioner and keep the room cold. Taking a shower was annoying and during the night you could feel the cold. Not even an extra blanket in the wardrobe. The icing on the cake was that the restaurant inside the hotel was very noisy and there was no room for sleep until midnight. I was at work and had to wake up early the next morning. The management dismissed me with an 'I'm sorry but the others complained because they felt hot so we turned everything off. Unacceptable!! Highly not recommended!!!

24/04/2025: Despite the delay, it was necessary to tell the experience lived in this restaurant, a discovery that deserves to be shared. The location, although not directly overlooking the lake, manages to win you over thanks to a refined and welcoming interior design, capable of creating a warm and refined atmosphere, just like the dining room staff, from the waiters to the manager, capable of making the guest feel at ease from the first moment. The visit - although unique so far - left an indelible mark, so much so as to make a future second time certain. The dishes stand out for their quality and presentation, but what really surprised was the original welcome, capable of striking you deeply for its uniqueness and attention. Applause also goes to the sommelier, who was able to accompany the tasting with wine proposals in perfect harmony with the menu, completing a high-level gastronomic experience.

20/04/2025: Many times we got small tastings for free and it was really, really beautiful! A beautiful garden around the restaurant! Really bright and the employees are really, really polite! The toilets are nice looking and the food was REALLY good!!!
