05/11/2024: Particular room with vault and majestic fireplace, relaxing and graceful. Very kind, not the usual recipes but also more elaborate things. Complete and well-studied dishes, cooked with a lot of passion; gentle tastes, just like the chef. The new winter menu will be out soon! We have to go back!

06/12/2024: It's not the first time we choose to dine in this place... we always happily come back to taste their delicacies! They are located at the beginning of the "promenade" on the long lake of Saló, the internal environments are very particular and well cared for. The staff has always been welcoming, courteous and helpful! The menu offers are very varied, ranging from excellent fish-based dishes to pizzas (the latter are also excellent). This tour I wanted to opt for a fish first course, well what can I say, fabulous! Very generous portion (we enjoyed it a lot) and the prices are perfectly average! Great experience, we will definitely be back!

06/12/2024: Arriving late for lunch (2pm) after visiting the Vittoriale, we (my son and I) were welcomed kindly in this well-kept, clean and welcoming place. We ate a risotto with radicchio, sausage and taleggio, artfully done, a very good spaghetti with clams and an excellent mixed fried dish, light, crunchy and fresh, I'll tell you, I'm Tuscan D.O.C. "seafood". G. I don't know if I will return to Salò, but if I do, I know where to eat to be on the safe side! Well done! Thank you!

07/08/2024: Ogni tanto ci passiamo dal Sole, per festeggiare qualche ricorrenza importante, o per stare con amici, o semplicemente per gustare un pranzo o una cena in famiglia. Come dice il titolo della recensione “È sempre bello stare qui”: la cucina è ottima, creativa, il servizio è fantastico e la location estiva, sotto il pergolato con la sua vista sul lago, apre il cuore. Al Sole si nutre il fisico, ma anche l’anima. Un grazie particolre alla sig.ra Cristina e alla figlia Costanza, che ci ricevono sempre con affetto.

21/07/2024: Salire alla veranda è già entrare in un paesaggio. Vista meravigliosa resa ancora più accogliente dal personale professionale, attento e disponibile. Cibo squisito e presentanto con delicata armonia di sapori e colori.

03/01/2025: Minimal but very refined menu. We tried the Milanese risotto, the braised cheek and the schnitzel; what can I say, everything was delicious! Impeccable service! Beatrice was very kind and attentive, attentive to every need but never intrusive. Breathtaking view of Milan. I can only recommend it!

01/01/2025: We went to the restaurant yesterday for the New Year's Eve menu with a written reservation. The price of the menu for two people had to be paid in advance. The description of the menu was promising. We had a written confirmation for 7.30 p.m. and were sent away again because it only started at 8.30 p.m. We hadn't received any information and other guests felt the same way. The bar in the hotel lobby was gradually filling up. When it finally started, we still hadn't had a main course after 2 hours and we had to pay for our wine in advance at the service! The chef probably did his best, but the service always brought the courses to the table lukewarm. The plates weren't cleared for a long time. In the end everything happened very quickly because we wanted to finish work at half past eleven and the guests were in the way. Just put away the decorations! No communication, no smile, just rude and unprofessional. Of the five people in service, no one did their job half as well as one would expect for this price of €120 per person. So our evening was ruined and the chef's performance was probably ruined as well. Actually, one star is too much for the worst service we have ever experienced. I hope that no one has to experience such a situation here in the future!!!

29/12/2024: We tried two types of pasta. They were very delicious, especially the ones with truffles, but their price is very high. But for those who love pasta, I advise you to try them.

26/08/2024: a 5-star hostel, where everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, very kind and helpful staff, minimal but "warm" furnishings, fantastic breakfast, garage, laundry, garden, and much more, nothing is missing, you would just like to stay there many days.

23/08/2024: With friends for a quick lunch. Beautiful place, among the greenery, near the Adda, with the possibility of stopping to chat and sunbathe. The cutting boards are good. Kind staff.
