12/03/2026: Everything was perfect. From the check-in, the view, the room, and the breakfast, it was superb. The only downside was the tiny parking lot, which was necessary because of our small car.

12/03/2026: A truly idyllic spot... The Meridiana is a charming, lovingly run hotel right on the lake in Bellano. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant were excellent. A must-try, recommended by the chef, was the Parmigiana Vegetariana! Better than our family recipe, which is saying something... 😉! But what really makes the hotel special are the manager, Angelo, and the staff. Everyone has a smile on their face, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. An absolute recommendation; it couldn't have been better.

12/04/2026: We had a very good meal here, but we made the mistake of choosing a table inside the restaurant. It was very noisy, unfortunately. But that's actually quite normal for Italy. Recommended, but I'd recommend sitting outside under the lights. I think that makes dining here even more enjoyable.

07/04/2026: The place is dated, but the staff is helpful, even if not perfectly on point. The beer, which they call "unfiltered amber," is a good unfiltered lager. The pizza is well-made, light, and flavorful, and the service is super fast. If they had paid more attention, it would have received a higher rating.

31/03/2026: Meal with colleagues a while ago: what can I say? The food is soporific (you risk falling asleep between courses), a LITTLE, really a LITTLE, expensive for my tastes given the banal food they serve (I'd rather add 30-40 euros more and eat as GOD commands, that is, pure Italian cuisine and with real Italian chefs), table service so-so (with some service geniuses, it seems like you're doing them a favor by eating there; perhaps they don't understand how the world works and that their salaries are strictly linked to the pennies, hard-earned day after day and not received from Divine Providence, that customers fork out). Perhaps, in fact I'm firmly convinced of it, I eat better at the soup kitchen paying half of half of half!!!!!!!! If you decide to go, I wish you all the best and, as a guy who was the testimonial for the legendary, inimitable and unique Aiazzone furniture factory used to say (a long, long, long time ago, great sellers of fluff raised to the nth degree): seeing is believing!!!!!!!!

12/04/2026: Very nice location, we stayed 2 years ago. They apparently no longer welcome children: their website doesn't list them, and asking directly would be exorbitant. Same room, same conditions, for two adults €267; for two adults + one 4-year-old and one 8-year-old €460 (sofa bed and children's spa kit not available)... Just write "adults only" and you'll look better.

11/04/2026: We spent a few days at Tenuta de l’Annunziata and had a rather disappointing, mixed experience overall. Our rating is definitely leaning towards 2 stars, and we wouldn't book the hotel again. I can't understand why the hotel still has some positive reviews. The location is definitely a highlight: very quiet and idyllic, situated between Lake Lugano and Lake Como – perfect for relaxing. The grounds themselves are well-maintained and clean, and the cleaning staff do a fantastic job. The spa area is also lovely. Free parking is available, and we especially appreciated the option of having breakfast outside. Unfortunately, several aspects significantly marred our stay. The staff seemed very impersonal, and we repeatedly felt that international guests were given less attention due to language barriers and the staff's limited English skills. The service was inattentive – you had to actively seek out a second cup of coffee at breakfast. Breakfast itself was disappointing: a very limited selection, heavily focused on sweets, with hardly any healthy options. The scrambled eggs were also rather runny and not very appetizing. Further points of criticism: The outdoor pool was closed despite an outside temperature of around 24 degrees Celsius, which we found incomprehensible. The shower was also cold in the morning. The small, single-use packages for the toiletries don't seem particularly sustainable either. A coffee machine is available in the room, but the price of €5 per capsule is outrageously high. Overall, it's a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but the service and some details unfortunately don't live up to expectations.

06/04/2026: I booked for Easter. Since there was no Easter menu, I thought I'd find the restaurant menu I'd looked at at home. Instead, I found a folded sheet of paper listing other courses, but very few, and among them I couldn't choose one that would satisfy us. The paccheri arrived, overcooked, drowned in squid ink, with four very thin calami (squid)—you couldn't even taste them—and with two, and I repeat, TWO... confit cherry tomatoes. My son had tagliolini with zucchini and bacon...the bacon was ONE, a very thin slice for the entire plate. The prices weren't low. But, if I'd eaten well, they would have been acceptable.

21/03/2026: Good and divided into two sections: lunch menu and a la carte. We tried the a la carte option, but the service was a bit slow. The ingredients were very good, but honestly, the fried calamari wasn't up to par with the menu. The rest was good.
