16/01/2026: Hotel restaurant, location stuck in the 1970s, large windows... so not hot. But polite, courteous service, and... you go for an excellent risotto... different flavors, all delicious! At the entrance to the stairs, unfortunately, under the flower box (eye level) many, many cigarette butts in plain sight... not a pretty sight!

18/11/2025: Osteria del Commercio was a wonderful discovery! During a visit to Lecco, I was looking for a place to eat really well, and I couldn't have chosen better. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely kind and professional lady who immediately made us feel at ease. We sat outside and she gave us plenty of time to choose our dishes. The pizzoccheri from Valtellina were impossible to resist: delicious, rich in flavor, and perfectly prepared. I then ordered the pork fillet with green peppercorns and baked potatoes... simply exquisite, tender, and delicious. All this was accompanied by a glass of Negroamaro, which made the dinner even more special. A truly excellent experience: quality, courtesy, and excellent cuisine. Highly recommended!

12/01/2026: **TOURIST TRAP** DONT GO!! We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday during our trip to Italy, expecting a special dinner. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had while traveling. We've eaten at numerous truffle-specializing restaurants around the world, where dishes are typically served with a standard amount of truffle included, and any extras are always clearly explained and agreed upon in advance, with transparent pricing. Here, the exact opposite happened. Despite calling itself a truffle restaurant, the dishes were served without any truffle base. The truffle was then grated at the table without our request or even being asked if we wanted it. No price per gram was explained, no quantity was discussed, and no consent was sought. The staff continued to grate, giving the impression that it was a standard portion included. Only when we received the bill did we discover an extra charge of €112 for just 12 grams of truffle, a cost that had never been communicated or previously approved. When we challenged it, the restaurant refused to remove the charge, merely apologizing and attributing the error to the staff. This is unacceptable. Products charged by weight and at market price must be clearly explained and explicitly approved by the customer. We know that truffles are expensive. What is unacceptable is being charged blindly, especially when customers may have language barriers. I strongly advise anyone not to allow the addition of truffles without first clearly confirming the price per gram and the quantity. Many of the google reviews reflected similar negative experiences of being blindly and forcefully charged on scam!!! Local seems to be no issue??

20/12/2025: I bought a truffle at the central market. It tasted like nothing, absolutely nothing. Avoid.

14/02/2026: My girlfriend and I had lunch today, a truly pleasant experience. Excellent food, homemade dessert, and a professional and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Sirmione.

02/01/2026: From the outside, it's hard to tell what the restaurant is all about. We were helped promptly at the downstairs counter and directed to the upstairs restaurant. The service there was good, and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, we really expected the pizzas to come from a real wood-fired oven. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. As a result, the pizzas weren't very tasty. Fortunately, we were able to park easily nearby, and the area was beautifully lit.

01/01/2026: We arrived at 7:15 pm on December 31st. We expected a lot of people and to be turned away, but no! Maybe because we arrived early and there were 2-3 other tables before us, but only a 5-minute wait for the pizza and a few more minutes for the casoncelli! We ate very well and could return without a doubt! The waiters were very kind and helpful!

16/02/2026: I've been going there for years for the pizza, and it's always good, but that's still the only positive thing. The place seems a bit run-down. Stoves everywhere because the dining room isn't heated properly. Maintenance and cleanliness of the spaces and service are extremely poor. Last night was the worst: there were no ingredients, people left without eating, and they had no control over orders. In short, they would have done better to close because, in terms of reputation, they'll have lost all the customers who came yesterday. Usually, when a guy with curly hair manages a dining room, he's generally in control. Last night was a total disaster.

07/02/2026: Me and my friend found this place during sightseeing and sat in to have a pizza for dinner. Capricosa pizza was delicious, the waiter (who's name is Giovanni) and the full service of this place was incredibly kind and professional. I can recommand this place for anyone who whould like to feel the Italian spirit in Milan. :)))

12/02/2026: The pizza was good, one of the best in Milan for me. Special mention goes to the waitress, who made us feel at home with her kindness and friendliness. We'll be back, bringing friends.

21/02/2026: My favorite for breakfast for the extraordinary work on the food and the products served for quality and diversity: seasonal buffets for balanced and healthy take-away lunches for work... but above all the cakes... the cakes are incredible... all vegan but also gluten-free/sugar-free and always fresh and tasty, even the buckwheat baci di dama are excellent!!

22/02/2026: I booked a week in advance, specifying that there would be two adults and a child. We arrived at 12:30 right on time and were greeted with condescending politeness, even though the restaurant was empty. They showed us to our table and pointed out that although there was a high chair, it wasn't intended for us because, as the restaurant owner put it: "For us, even if you specify a child in your reservation, that doesn't mean you have a high chair." We pointed out that we'd be eating quickly and could have done without it if we'd wanted. However, the restaurant owner and a member of the staff confronted us and reiterated that the high chair was for a larger table that wouldn't arrive in 30 minutes. At that point, annoyed, we got up and left. It was a shame we hadn't tried the menu, but we really didn't want to let such unfriendly service ruin our lunch.

17/02/2026: The place is very warm and welcoming, and it feels like you're not even in the chaos of the city. The food wasn't bad, although we expected a bit more based on the photos. The dishes are typical of Lombardy's tradition. Parking in the area is tricky.
