24/05/2026: We ordered a mixed raw food platter for two. The menu states that all the ingredients are fresh, but the restaurant assumes no responsibility for any contamination. Very well said. The next day, I had serious food poisoning, which is still ongoing. Kudos to the management.

10/05/2026: A wonderful, wonderful place. Everything was delicious, the buffet was plentiful, and everything was decorated with attention to detail. The first course was also delicious 🤤😋, and the fruit with the chocolate fountain was excellent! The staff was kind, helpful, and very friendly. A perfect evening! A place worth it. 💯🔝

16/03/2026: We went to Corte Casello for my mother's birthday dinner. We had a delightful evening. The appetizer buffet was rich and delicious, and also beautiful to look at. The main courses we tried were delicious; the veal with onions was exceptional. The desserts were delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. The staff was very kind, attentive, and helpful. They brought my mother a personalized birthday cake, with a truly delicious lemon cream. The place is well-kept and very charming, with lots of fairy lights that create a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back again and again!! Highly recommended!

29/03/2026: The restaurant's decor is simple and unimpressive, with neither a tavern nor a family atmosphere. As soon as we entered, we were hit by an unpleasant smell of fried food: the kitchen should be well ventilated. The food doesn't live up to the numerous positive reviews. Aside from the fried anchovies, which don't require any special skill to prepare, the rest was subpar: the sciatielli with wild boar ragù, which didn't seem fresh to me, could have been served in a canteen, and the prawns in pumpkin cream lacked any particular flavor. I think they're trying to offer a basic, home-style cuisine with a twist, but they fail to achieve this, instead descending into a style of cuisine that completely loses its local character and leaves it unclear where it's headed. The prices are affordable, but the dinner completely disappointed me.

15/07/2026: Excellent dinner. The only downside: very little flexibility regarding children's food. I asked if I could order a half portion of short pasta with meat sauce and was told they didn't have any other pasta shapes and that they were pre-measured in a blast chiller. There are no children's options on the menu.

12/07/2026: The place is truly beautiful, the food delicious, the only flaw being the service, as the manager belittled some of the younger waiters in front of us, which is unprofessional. Furthermore, while explaining the menu, he made jokes about "people who don't understand meat" and made fun of food intolerances. A real shame given the quality of the place and the food. The prices aren't cheap, but they're fair for the quality and quantity, especially the meat, which was excellent.

21/06/2026: Good pizza, I also tried the Paella but I didn't find it to my liking. For the rest ok!

03/05/2026: Excellent experience for a Saturday morning lunch, with a wide selection of food and very reasonable prices (like the food). The clientele was absent from the crowds typically found in central areas. The atmosphere was elegant and quiet.

09/04/2026: We arrived on a whim at 8:00 PM and were lucky to get the last table. By 9:00 PM, it was packed, and there was a queue outside. Inside, it was all Italian. The food was delicious—unfortunately, it was gone so quickly (no photo). The only downside was that as soon as the first person finished, their plate was cleared, and so it went on. This wasn't ideal for the last person to finish. We came back after two years—this time it was quiet. The food was very tasty. The service was rather impersonal, but they did their job.

03/06/2026: Highly disappointed: Paying guests shouldn't be sidelined for private eventsI recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the management of the common areas. Throughout my entire stay, a wedding was being held on-site. As a result, I was completely barred from enjoying the garden and the terrace—the very features that justify the premium rates of this hotel and its overall appeal.Paying for a charming boutique experience only to find the main amenities locked down or inaccessible is deeply disrespectful to paying guests. If the property chooses to host weddings and large events, they should sell out the entire venue exclusively, as many professional hoteliers do. Trying to run a regular hotel while hosting private events just creates an incompatible experience. Unfortunately, I would not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

02/07/2026: A lovely discovery on a Thursday in July with friends. Excellent fresh fish dishes. Amberjack tartare, pasta with spider crab, grilled octopus with creamed potatoes, and salt-baked sea bass. Top! Professional and attentive service. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

21/05/2026: We just checked out of our three night stay at this beautiful hotel. Angelo went above and beyond to answer questions and accommodate our requests to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The view from our room was beautiful and the service was excellent! We would 100% stay here again.

19/07/2026: 6 Aussies visited for a coffee and a bite to eat. Staff all spoke great English, service was good, coffee was great (but is Italy!) and the paninis were fresh and super tasty. The location on the edge of the lake is also 5-star

09/07/2026: The pizza 🍕 is absolutely delicious! Initially, it looks huge for one person, but the crust is very thin and chewy, yet crispy. It's a perfect portion size. Service is quick! I love it here! I will be back. Locals eat here, so that should tell tourists a lot about the food!

24/06/2026: We're in the heart of Milan's Turro neighborhood. Looking at this place from the outside, you wouldn't be particularly intrigued to enter. Instead, you're transported back to a distant past, unknown to many, with Viviana and Angela serving home-style Calabrian cuisine that's simply delicious. I love chili pepper, so I stocked up on the delicious condiment (over)used on the bread. The crostini are excellent, the fileja with meatball ragù and 'nduja is exquisite, and the Piedmontese-style fritto misto is dry and tasty. The only downside is the desserts. The service is friendly, and the wait times are short because everything is freshly cooked to order—just like at home. I'll be back and highly recommend trying it.

14/07/2026: This has been the best food and service since we've been in Italy. Better food than Florence and Venice. Hand written menu every day and great selection of seafood.

09/04/2026: I'm a tourist, but my second language is Italian... I felt disrespected... I have level 3 certification from Perugia, but other Italian customers arrived much later than us, ordered the same dish, "spaghetti alke vongole," and were served before us... after 50 minutes I questioned why... anyway, it was very unpleasant. Customers are all on the same level... whoever sits down and orders should be treated with the same respect.
