05/01/2026: What creeps to make my dessert look like male genitalia. I tried to upload a photo but it kept getting rejected.... probably because it was so vulgar. The dessert was taking a really long time and the waiter said it was being handmade. Such trashy behavior. Also, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on with a huge depression in the mattress.

01/03/2026: I'm happy to come to Sottosopra for lunch and dinner. I appreciate the restaurant's staff, who are very attentive and quick to serve customers, without ever being intrusive. The menu caters to everyone, with its fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Appetizers and pizzas—many of them—round out the offerings, which on weekdays also include set menus for workers. Overall, a good restaurant in the Bicocca area that I recommend!

04/03/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me for a good meal. They were right. A quiet atmosphere with delicious pizza, meat, and fish. As soon as I arrived, they immediately served me a tasting of their Crude, Fruity, and Sweet Calabrian Olive Oil. The oil is exquisite. The atmosphere is very clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly and attentive to every customer's need. The pizza is highly digestible, and they have a wood-fired oven. I highly recommend it. It's worth it for me.

11/02/2026: I've known this place for 25 years. I used to come here for lunch many years ago and had fond memories of it. I returned today and thought it was gone, like so many other great places in Milan that have now disappeared. But it's still there! I had a stew with fresh porcini mushrooms and potatoes, an excellent tiramisu, and my husband had a delicious chocolate and pear cake. Very reasonable prices for the area...what can I say? Highly recommended!

20/09/2025: We came for pizza, but we had to go to the kitchen because there was an hour and a half wait. Then, when they served us from the kitchen, they told us we could also eat pizza. Very rude behavior.

05/09/2025: Terrible experience at the Kiosk (August). We were greeted by a stressed pensioner who huffed and puffed, talking behind his back, and shaking his head at every customer request. It's a shame about the restaurant, which is very nice, and the owner, who seemed very professional. But for goodness sake, let stressed pensioners act like pensioners.

26/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch here for the first time during a day at the lake. Everything was excellent, from the location to the menu, to the friendly and attentive service.

18/02/2026: We returned for dinner for the second time. Even though it was Monday, we preferred to book, fortunately because the place filled up shortly afterward and there were no free tables. Excellent food and great service. Dogs are welcome. The four of us, ordering an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, along with a good bottle of Lugana, spent a total of €250; excellent value.

22/02/2026: We were a party of four for dinner. Attentive service, good value for money. The portions were a good size. The food tasted good. However, it doesn't quite deserve more stars. The presentation of the food and the ambiance are too simple. The quality is good, but the ingredients aren't outstanding. We would go again.

03/03/2026: The service was excellent, the entire staff was super nice! Average price amongst the 5 of us was 28.50$ Euro including a delicious meal, drinks and dessert! Plus you get a super nice view of the Lago!!!

25/02/2026: We visited the restaurant because of the wonderful view, which didn't disappoint. However: The food was terrible. The pizza had way too much cheese and tasted like a bad frozen pizza. There was no tomato sauce, and the cheese was bland. The cherry tomatoes were tasteless. The lasagna didn't look appetizing and didn't taste good either. The service was okay. Unfortunately, the menu was damp and practically falling apart.

20/03/2026: Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit this place with a group of friends. We initially planned to sit in the garden, but due to the cooler weather, it was closed. On the plus side, we were offered a table upstairs, which was a nice touch. The place itself makes a very good impression – atmospheric and tastefully decorated, although it's definitely not an intimate space, but rather a place designed for larger crowds and large groups. As for the service, it's unfortunately a bit less so. The wait was quite long, and my dessert was forgotten, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The food is decent and tasty, but doesn't have the "wow" factor – there are better places to eat in the area. The very good wine list, however, deserves special mention, which may be a strong reason for many to visit. It's worth noting that payment is made upon exiting the premises. In summary – a place with atmosphere and potential, especially for larger gatherings, although with a few elements that could be more efficient.
