28/06/2025: Great option in Sirmione albeit very busy in the evenings. We only had pasta and the level was above average for a tourist hot spot, with the paccheri being better than the other dish. Service was great but it’s quite busy.

28/06/2025: This place was one of the most popular dinner spots with quite a bit of people waiting. We thankfully didn't have to wait too long as a pair. If your group is larger than a pair, it might be best to split into smaller groups. We ordered white wine, san pelligrino, pasta with fish, a burrata salad and salmon topped with pistachios. The salmon and burrata salad had such distinct and strong flavors. The burrata was refreshing and the salmon was savory with a nice crisp. The pasta was delicious, however the flavors were a bit dull. The food here was 11/10 and would love to come back ~

28/06/2025: Excellent restaurant in Varenna. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and we were lucky enough to snag two tables on the spur of the moment. The service was very attentive and friendly. The selection of dishes is really good, with something for everyone, including vegetarians. The price-performance ratio is also good for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

29/04/2025: Incredibly delicious meat and the service is super friendly. The owner is very accommodating. Away from tourism and fair prices and portions. Highly recommended if you are on vacation here. Even if it's not typical Italian cuisine, there are local wines and the food is definitely worth a visit.

25/06/2025: I used to come to Antica Trattoria Ferrari 20 years ago with my mother and today I'm back! What can I say: it's always a wonderful place to eat genuine and delicious food, in a beautiful and well-kept environment. Special mention for the lemon risotto, truly excellent, as well as the other dishes. The waiters are all very kind. I hope to return soon, congratulations!

22/06/2025: Excellent trattoria located in Borgo Ticino immediately after the covered bridge. Beautiful, well-kept place full of plants. Kind waiters. We took a mix of hot and cold appetizers, I particularly appreciated the coppa alla bonarda, very tasty. Following the advice, the rolled pasta with asparagus and omelette and the paccheri stuffed with aubergine with basil pesto. The advice was delicious, in my opinion, a bit of me or asparagus, prevailed in flavour. The paccheri were fabulous in their simplicity, so much so that I tried to ask for the recipe for the filling. The dessert was also good, we took the chocolate cake with salted caramel and hazelnuts and a lemon and mint sorbet. Excellent recommended tavern.

12/06/2025: We stopped by this lovely restaurant to finish off our wedding anniversary celebrations, only to be unfortunately disappointed. We were ignored with terrible service, waiting perhaps 30 minutes before getting menus while we saw others coming in after us who were already ordering. They were busy, but there were maybe 20% open tables. While the food arrived quickly, no one stopped by to see if we needed anything until a waitress came over to borrow our salt shaker for another table. The food was okay and the location is lovely. Be aware that they allow dogs in the restaurant, and there were a good number of other guests who brought theirs. It can be very boisterous when they all start barking at once when a truck drives by.

08/06/2025: We ate at this restaurant while passing through on holiday, it was a nice surprise, the owners were friendly, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable.

11/06/2025: We visited this restaurant on June 4, 2025, based on the reviews here on Google, and were convinced we'd have a great dinner. In short, it was the worst meal we've had in a long time! I had the fried lake fish and potato frittate. My wife had black linguine with seafood. We had an insalata mista beforehand, as we often do. The salad was great and good! The rest was awful. The fish was unseasoned and, I think, mostly reheated from the day before. The same was true of the potato wedges. They were shriveled and looked like they'd been left over. My wife had a canned sauce with the pasta and seafood and was visibly disgusted by the taste. It's unbelievable how other reviews here could be so good. Maybe they have a new "chef"... if so, he should change careers. In summary, a complete disappointment, and we hope to spare others such a disappointment with this review. Sorry, but anyone who serves a meal like that to a guest deserves nothing less. Sorry2say!

Everything contributes to creating a magical atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the experience. The menu is excellent with dishes made with very fresh and high-quality ingredients. The desserts are unforgettable. Another note of merit goes to the staff, always attentive and helpful.

13/06/2025: La Fenice is one of our favourite restaurants in Tremosine. Everything is so great - the food, the quality, the wide range of menu and the professional staff and their service. Even simple dishes like lasagna or spaghetti al ragù are so delicious! Whether it’s lunch or dinner, this restaurant really serves the best.

Salvatore always welcomes us with a smile, as do all the staff, always kind and attentive. They make you feel at home, and this really makes the difference. A special mention goes to the Tiramisu appetizer: a one-of-a-kind dish, absolutely extraordinary! It is a real taste experience that we recommend to anyone who visits the restaurant - to try at least once (and then it will be impossible to do without!). Highly recommended!

18/05/2025: An exceptional experience from start to finish! I was satisfied and impressed by this restaurant. The staff was kind and professional, but never too intrusive. The location was really well-kept in every detail from the dining room to the bathroom. The menu features innovative and well-prepared dishes. what can I say….. a real gem in the heart of Desio.
