the staff was stressed, the sommelier forgot or skipped some plates (telling later he gifts us some glasses, what we found funny)
food was okay but not worth a Michelin star.
we did not feel comfortable.
we will not return.
03/11/2025: Lovely restaurant with excellent service and beautifully prepared dishes. A bit more expensive compared to other similar Michelin places nearby, but the quality and attention to detail make it worth it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

14/12/2025: First restaurant i went in Italy and absolutely loved! very nice and understanding as we dont speak italian. Loved the food and atmosphere. We even got free limoncellos as a treat.

26/11/2025: One of the very few places open on Saturday, November 15th: a pleasant surprise! Right on the lakefront, a host of very friendly waiters made sure the customers felt at ease. At 8:00 PM, there were still few but by 31:00 PM, they were so numerous that there were no free tables. The menu was quite varied and the dishes were beautifully presented.
An experience to repeat.
22/11/2025: A very characteristic hotel and restaurant directly overlooking Lake Como.
The restaurant is nice, the prices are above average, but the staff is very friendly. I recommend a visit.
I forgot to mention that the pizza is very good.

08/10/2025: We had a lovely stay in early September to attend a wedding nearby. Wonderful location, attentive staff, and the food was great too! Lake Como is truly beautiful and this small Inn is a great choice for accommodations.
05/09/2025: Great location in the heart of town; we found a free parking space in the public parking lot despite it being a holiday. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit small, but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast was meager for our taste. Otherwise, a really cute little place to stay.

16/12/2025: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The cuisine was absolutely delicious, with an impressive selection of vegetarian options. We particularly enjoyed the artichoke risotto and the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, both of which were exquisitely prepared. The staff was courteous, professional, and attentive, contributing greatly to the overall experience. I would most certainly return on my next visit to Varese.

The only drawback is the difficulty in parking (especially, I imagine, on certain special holidays).
10/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, ordering two eggs with truffles as an appetizer at the price indicated on the menu of 10 euros each. Nowhere did it indicate that the truffle would be grated on top, much less the price per gram. When the eggs arrived, it was obviously too late to return them, so we ended up paying 50 euros for two eggs with 3 grams of truffle in total. I think everything should be more clearly stated, including the type of truffle, since according to the menu, 10 euros is the final price of the dish.
The location is beautiful, with a central dining room featuring large windows, and the first courses were good.

19/10/2025: Wow! This remains my highlight of this entire trip. I'd say it's my personal hidden gem! The road to this restaurant isn't easy. We took a wrong turn, and the owner showed us the right way. We were greeted with a breathtaking view of the lake. The food and service are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. It won't be our last time here. Highly recommended.

27/11/2025: A bistro-style restaurant in the historic center of Vigevano, which my wife and I have already frequented a couple of times. The service is courteous and attentive. The cuisine is a blend of Lombardy and Piedmont, with excellent goose dishes (especially ragù, pâté, and cotechino) that we thoroughly enjoyed. The menu also features delicious dishes using local ingredients and classic or revisited recipes, which we'll definitely try on future occasions.
The wine selection is good, primarily from the Oltrepo Pavese and Langhe regions.
05/11/2025: Personally, I found the welcome and service to be subpar; the atmosphere didn't convey any warmth.
The ravioli filled with braised goose were nothing extraordinary, but the butter and hazelnut sauce certainly didn't enhance them.
The veal with tuna sauce, fried chicken, and hazelnut cake with zabaglione were all delicious; the zabaglione dollops were really small.

The food is simply delicious: every dish is carefully crafted, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients. Special thanks to Chef Francesco, who not only delighted us with his refined cuisine but also took the time to personally greet us—a gesture we greatly appreciated. His dishes are a true delight. I will definitely be back!
20/06/2025: This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life! The food was superb and the atmosphere was so warm and authentic. 5th generation owned and operated estate. If you are looking for the “Nonna” experience, this is it!! I felt like I was having dinner with relatives while there. Top dishes for us: Onion antipasto, Ravioli, Tempura zucchini, Tiramisu.
