10/10/2025: After a long time, I finally managed to visit this restaurant, and I had a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, small but charming location. What can I say about the food? Delicious and excellent quality. I highly recommend it if you're in Varese.

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant offering varied and delicious dishes—the food is truly, truly, truly good! 🍽️ The servers are lovely: kind, cheerful, and always available to explain the dishes or offer helpful advice, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm, the service attentive, and the quality of the food is impeccable. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

18/10/2025: Disclaimer: I love this place; we come several times a year. I have no complaints about the quality of the food; on the contrary, it's all delicious, and they were incredibly kind because one of the girls had numerous allergies, so they were very accommodating. This time, however, when we went to the cashier to pay (we each wanted to pay for what we'd consumed, and there were four of us, not ten), the owner told us it wasn't possible: "You've had time to sit down," and that we could settle down later. We stayed longer than the reservation time, that's true. It's also true that if a table had been served, we would have gotten up without a problem, but that wasn't the case. So I don't understand this kind of "retaliation." We'll definitely be back because the food and staff are excellent, but this, to be honest, left us a little perplexed.

14/10/2025: The risottos have become banal and unremarkable. The gnocchi are excellent. The portions are good only on individual plates...while on second and third plates...they're small.

11/12/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Finally, a pizza in Milan that's not the overpriced Neapolitan one or the usual low-quality ones! We ordered takeout and were extremely satisfied: fresh ingredients, really good dough, and super fast service. A discovery we'd been missing in the area; since we discovered it, we haven't ordered anything else!

11/12/2025: I had dinner at La Casa nel Bosco in Nave and had a very positive experience: the restaurant is surrounded by greenery, well-kept, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The cuisine reflects tradition, with well-executed dishes and quality ingredients: I particularly enjoyed the grilled meat, cooked to perfection. The first courses and desserts were also delicious. The setting is also excellent, creating a pleasant atmosphere suitable for both couples and friends. A restaurant worth a visit for those seeking good food and a quiet atmosphere.

27/11/2025: I came from Paris, but six years ago I lived in Milan and was a regular at this restaurant. Today I returned as a tourist, eager to relive some fond memories. I had an Italian-style mixed fry, which was really good and well-made, but I was disappointed with the pizza: nothing like the ones I used to eat here, and not even better than the pizzas I've had in fast food restaurants in Paris. The prices have gone up considerably, which I can understand, but the fact that the quality has deteriorated is sad for a famous Italian pizza place in Milan.

11/11/2025: The ravioli were delicious, but unfortunately we didn't have enough people to order their signature dishes: lobster pasta or steak and fries, both of which are for two people. The staff were very friendly and even told us that this was Shu Qi's favorite restaurant.

09/11/2025: Extremely expensive for the quantity of food in each course. So you might ask, "Is the quality excellent?" The answer is "average quality, nothing exceptional that could justify the excessive price." We ordered a first and second course, and when we left the restaurant, we were still hungry. All the courses were miniature. I won't even mention the dessert—literally, two spoonfuls. And yet, the price wasn't that "light," like the dishes; obviously, we won't be returning. Perhaps the most annoying thing was that one of us is lactose intolerant, and when we asked for an alternative, they looked at us like aliens.

16/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Trattoria Quaglini, a regular stop for over 20 years whenever you want to eat well, spend time with friends and family in a unique atmosphere, and be greeted, as always, with a kindness that's rare these days. The Quaglini family is a prime example of how to create quality dining, using excellent local ingredients at fair prices. Hospitality is a strong point of this trattoria, with the staff friendly and always available to meet customer needs. Warmest regards to Marco, his son Marcello, and the entire staff.
