Good carbonara even if I prefer the sauce a little less dense, excellent service, excellent manager, excellent location, good see you next time

Traditional, homey flavors, typically Italian, Roman, Tuscan, Milanese, and beyond. Medium-large portions, average prices. Courteous and efficient service. We tried the tonnarelli cacio e pepe and penne alla Chiarugi, both excellent dishes. Excellent desserts. I can't judge the wines, as I never drink wine. UPDATE AUGUST 2020. A welcome addition to the menu is a list of traditional Roman pinsa. The one alla gricia is delicious, richly seasoned and very flavorful. A truly Italian, mainly Roman/Milan traditional restaurant. They have 100 years of experience in Rome and about 30 in Milan. Very good selection of main courses with pasta and rice, fish, and meat. If you are in Milan for holidays or work, you have to try this! Try, for example, the Cacio e Pepe...you won't forget this experience. Update August 2026. I confirm what I said above after 6 years and several dinners here. The quality of the dishes is always excellent, the wait staff is courteous and naturally friendly. I tried the cacio e fave pasta, which was truly excellent. This place is now a sure thing.

Kudos to the restaurant manager. She was incredibly kind and helpful; she helped me with a reservation issue, which was my mistake. She personally took care of everything with the utmost respect and kindness. The food was very good. A wonderful experience.

Being from Rome but having lived in Milan for a while, this restaurant has become my go-to place when I want to relish the flavors of home, expertly prepared. Compliments to Giada for her kindness, friendliness, and above all, her professionalism.

Definitely a very nice location, accessible to everyone. The dishes are very similar in flavor and presentation to those of Roman cuisine. The service is excellent, cheerful, and direct, and I think Giada deserves a special mention, especially if I remember correctly. Congratulations to everyone...

A pleasant surprise... Very nice, well-decorated place Attentive and friendly staff... Not to mention the food... A restaurant with Roman specialties and more...I ate a fillet steak that melted in my mouth... My compliments, truly.

A piece of Rome in Milan! If you're homesick for the Eternal City, you'll find it here!! I personally come to this restaurant for the pasta alla gricia because no other restaurant can make it like they do! The other dishes on the menu are equally fantastic! The artichokes alla giudia? It's a moment before you feel like you're in Trastevere!!

A good little restaurant serving Roman cuisine and more.

I had lunch at this Roman restaurant on Via Washington and had a very positive experience. The traditional Roman dishes are well-prepared, with quality ingredients and authentic flavors: you can sense the attention paid to traditional cuisine. The service was also courteous and helpful throughout the meal. The only small drawback was the wait, which was a bit long for those with a limited lunch break. Overall, however, I recommend this place to anyone looking for good Roman cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.
