15/03/2026: We arrived at this restaurant through a hotel in Fiumicino. The owner was very kind. We ate very well. I recommend it.

13/03/2026: After a few years, we returned with our family to this place that was a favorite for us. Total disappointment, interminable wait, even for the kids, and sloppy service. The same dish, poor and without garnish, was served at a different table next door. I asked for bread, and they told me it was out shortly afterward. They brought it to another table. Spaghetti with clams served with lupini beans. The bill was steep, and the food was bland by their old standards. I'm sorry, but business can't be like this. I've lost a trusted place to go.

16/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, unparalleled value for money. Very good food, friendly, and fast service. The only downside is that parking is difficult to find.

10/12/2025: If you haven't eaten at this restaurant yet, you're definitely missing out on the most unique and extraordinary place to eat just steps from the Vatican. The food is freshly prepared, the service is top-notch, and they always make you feel welcome. Every time we're in Rome, we make sure to stop here for a meal. A toast to our favorite waiter Diego and chef Leonardo!

24/02/2026: Amazing restaurant, a true local gem just around the corner from our hotel. The best meal we had in Rome and such an authentic experience. Despite being the only tourists in there we were treated with the same respect and service, and it was fantastic value for money. Also an incredible wine list! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome, but book as it was so busy even on Monday night!

08/12/2025: We expected better after reading the reviews. The tomato and mozzarella salad was bland, with cardboard-like lettuce, and the €12 starter was completely overpriced. The main courses were okay, but nothing special; not really the Italian vibe we were looking for. One positive point was the complimentary limoncello at the end.

08/12/2025: The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food was very good. The lasagna I ordered was excellent; they brought bread, and the rosé wine we ordered was very tasty. The limoncello wasn't too sweet and was very good, but the surprising one was the melon limoncello, which was like a meloncello, very delicious. It tasted like a drink we consume in Brazil, but tastier. I highly recommend it for couples, or even for someone alone; the food was great.

27/03/2026: There are no longer any secrets or things to discover, as pizzeria al 384 has been a landmark for Romans for years, and I mean, for all lovers of good food. The architect of this success is undoubtedly due to Roberto Ferrone, a talented young pizza chef, and his staff, who, without much fanfare, have managed to transform this place into a true gourmet delicacy. The space isn't very large, but it's large enough to accommodate customers both inside and out. The menu includes pizza and traditional fried foods like classic suppli, but that's not all. Along with the evergreens, this place offers seasonal and seasonal delicacies. Right now, for example, they're offering a fried tramezzino with Cetara red tuna, lime mayo, and tomato. Let's talk about the pizzas: they use a selection of stone-ground flours. I like to call it, as it has been described, a hybrid between Roman and Neapolitan, with a pronounced crust and a thin center. The oven is electric. I've been coming here for a few years now, and what's always pleasantly surprised me, besides a long-lasting dough that perfectly combines two traditions and the always balanced and harmonious toppings, is the 384 rule and few but well-balanced ingredients. I can't help but mention tonight's pizza, which in a certain sense encapsulates the meaning of my words. What I particularly appreciated was the fact that the porchetta wasn't cooked but rather taken out of the oven. I can't even say why I agree with the pizza chef. The success of a place lies in maintaining the desire and passion for cooking as if always having to please a small audience of customers. If you'll pardon the expression, a food shop. These guys haven't lost their hunger and desire to assert themselves in today's landscape, characterized by stereotypes dictated more by a vision of social media goals that will bring visibility. But I believe that even today, authenticity is still a precious gift that few possess. Keep it up, guys.

08/11/2025: If you're a Korean passing by, I highly recommend this place!! I ordered with gestures, and it was delicious, and the price was reasonable. The owner is so kind and cool! And you absolutely have to try the tiramisu. It's much more delicious than it's famous among tourists.

10/03/2026: Great find in the heart of Rome! Traditional menu focusing on Roman specialties with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Everything I tried was excellent, from the artichoke and spinach salads to the carbonara and the chestnut semifreddo! We will have to come back to try other dishes. The service is attentive and caring.

03/03/2026: The food is stunning, service is great, attentive and not pushy. How they create such fabulous food in such a small place is utterly amazing, but truly wonderful. It was so good we had dinner two nights running, we were only in Rome three nights 😂👌 We’ll definitely be visiting there again, that’s for sure. We were lucky to get a table as it’s super popular with Italians and lucky tourists that happen by!!

21/03/2026: We could sum it up by saying "Fabulous," but that would be an understatement. Let's talk about the location: Have you ever seen an osteria/fraschetta in a cave? Here it is! Let's talk about the service: the "real" one, not pretentious, but informal: "homey," beautiful and let's say a few words, maybe even four, about the food: Authentic flavors, products above all suspicion and above average. We can say that except for one or two dishes, we ate the entire menu: An appetizer worth a dinner, with quality cured meats and cheeses. We wanted to go all out: sautéed chicory, expertly made. Meatballs were perfectly balanced and soft, just as they should be, and a sauce that deserves a 10/10 rating. We finished it all off with a cacio e pepe lasagna made by grandma (an added bonus), fantastic. All washed down with a dry Romanella that spoke volumes! The price is right for the quality of the products, the service is fast and informal, and the location is truly breathtaking. Recommended? Yes, very much!

20/03/2026: Other tables were served limoncello before paying the bill, so I thought I'd get some too, but I didn't. Why? Is there a rule against serving it to solo diners? I ordered the vongole pasta, but it was a bit disappointing, perhaps because I'm used to eating large, plump clams.

20/03/2026: A must try if you’re in or around Trastevere. Family of 5 and we ate from here quite a few times during our stay in Rome and I must say the food did not disappoint. Pizza, pasta, main courses, everything was cooked to perfection. I also can’t say enough good things about the service staff, everyone here has been great. Truly a wonderful eatery, highly recommend.
