We made a reservation online as we were with a group of 7 and knew it would be difficult to seat such a large group. Despite booking months in advance, we showed up for our 8pm booking and waited 45 minutes for a table. Which was disappointing.
However, the wonderful staff made up for this, as they were quick to take our order and get our food to us. They were so friendly and the food was incredible.
Its a very popular place and for a good reason! Perhaps some work could be done on the reservation system to ensure those with bookings are seated in a timely manner. 😊 Despite this, we would still recommend a visit here!

The queue was a bit chaotic, despite having a reservation.
The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Calcio e Peppe and the cheesecake.
The atmosphere was lovely, however, it was quite warm inside despite the air conditioning.

We loved it! On a lovely cobblestone street. The food and service were great and they always had a short line which I take as a good sign. You can make reservations!

We had the most amazing meal at Taverna Urbana! We booked online (which I would recommend doing as there was a queue out the door by the time we got there) so we were seated quickly. From start to finish Anto and his colleagues provided a flawless service! The food was amazing, probably the best meal we had during our holiday! Thank you very much and we hope to visit again soon!

We stumbled across this gem whilst looking for a dinner venue. The food was superb and the the service fantastic. We had an entree, two mains, a salad and dessert, as well as 2 drinks each, and it totalled 107 euro, which was great value.
The fried anchovies were amazing! It’s a shame we found this place on our last night in Rome, otherwise we would be again!

This was easily one of the best restaurants we visited during our time in Rome. There was a short queue when we arrived so maybe book if you're that organised! but we were seated quickly, and the atmosphere had a lovely buzz to it. The outside seating looked particularly picturesque, so it would have been nice to sit out there.
The service was really quick but still attentive, and the food was incredibly fresh. The homemade pasta was a real highlight, the catch of the day was delicious, and it was probably the best pasta I had during our trip!
They also had an extensive wine list, and we thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Rome!
