05/01/2026: I was hungry when I visited, and it was so delicious. I visited twice during my trip. I'd like to visit again on the last day of my trip, if time allows.

05/01/2026: OMG. This was ABSOLUTELY INSANE. The food was amazing especially the carbonara with truffle. The stuff was so sweet and gave us biscottis to try. Atmosphere of the restaurant was precious and so comfy. 10/10!!

13/01/2026: I visited here for dinner. I live in Florence, so pasta is a familiar dish to me, but the carbonara I had here was delicious. The dessert was also delicious. (There aren't many restaurants that serve delicious desserts, so I was satisfied until the very end.) The interior is stylish and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, so we enjoyed the meal without feeling too formal. I recommend it for couples. The price was also reasonable compared to other restaurants. Thank you for the meal.

07/01/2026: This was our second meal at this spectacular restaurant. The proprietors were warm, friendly, helpful and generous. The food was next level. The focaccia for the table was sublime. The spinach and sage ravioli were delicate and flavorful. The steak was perfect. The wine selection is pretty much unlimited. The desserts were delicious. Eat here if you are in Rome, 100% recommend.

It's a constant pampering experience, from the dishes coming out of the kitchen to the service staff—everything is truly impeccable. There were two of us, and we chose the tasting menu, featuring high-quality ingredients expertly prepared. Congratulations and thank you for this experience!

05/01/2026: Had a wonderful lunch experience at Sofitel hotel’s rooftop restaurant Settimo. My waitress Elena was so kind and friendly it made my experience that much better! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had a lunch menu for 39€ including starter, first course (pasta) coffee (orzo) and water. It’s a great value for money in such a beautiful location. Only the rain ruined the moment but I will definitely be back for a more sunny day!

10/01/2026: Pizza was good. The capricciosa had a piece salami, half hard-boiled egg and no carciofi, which was new to me. Anyway, the dough, tomato and mozzarella were very good. Service was quick and very kind. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly.

23/12/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Albano Laziale, with a wide selection of seafood, all very fresh. The attentive and knowledgeable staff offers a wide selection of Italian and international wines! Must try.

17/12/2025: Like every time we return to this restaurant, there is always excitement, even though we are now long-time customers. In fact, it has won us over since the beginning of this business. A very refined and very elegant place created in a former 17th-century granary of the Poor Clare nuns and expertly renovated. This restaurant fascinates us as it was one of the first in the Castelli Romani panorama to offer a new, creative cuisine with particular platings that today we would call master chefs, but back then I believe that master chefs did not yet exist. It was a challenge in a place where carbonara, amatriciana, etc. reign, and yet Claudio in the kitchen and Andrea won their personal challenge with tenacity, professionalism and innovation, well done. Recently the restaurant was expanded with a new room, while maintaining the style that has always distinguished them. The menu offers a good choice of meat and fish strictly from the port of Anzio, the wine list satisfies even the most demanding palates. The menu is offered both à la carte and with the option of a 5 or 7-course tasting menu at a decidedly attractive price. The professionalism and courtesy of the entire waiting staff are always attentive and discreet. An evening where the taste buds did "somersaults" - bravo.

Excellent eggplant parmigiana, tender and flavorful Roman-style artichokes, delicious and tender Roman-style tripe, and a truly worthy cacio e pepe. Attentive and courteous service! Well done, many should learn from you! You do justice to traditional Roman cuisine. I've been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Thank you for making me feel at home!

12/01/2026: We just had one of the best culinary experiences of our trip through Europe. From the moment we walked in, the friendly service, the dishes, the dessert—everything was perfect. It's not your average restaurant. You order at the counter, and they call your plate. There's not much space inside, but everything is very organized, and when we were there, no one had to wait long for a table. We ordered the carbonara and the fettuccine Bolognese; I can't decide which was more perfect! We also ordered both desserts; the chocolate cake almost made me cry, haha. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back because we loved it!

During my time in Rome, it was a place I returned to often, not out of habit, but because the experience never lost its precision or pleasure. The cooking is confident, generous and deeply satisfying. The flavours are layered yet clear, dishes are rich without excess, and there is an instinctive understanding of balance that runs through the menu. Everything feels grounded in Italian tradition while remaining quietly contemporary, never forced, never distracted. Service is, quite simply, exceptional. Attentive, warm and impeccably timed, it creates an atmosphere in which one feels genuinely welcomed and consistently well looked after. There is a natural ease in the room that allows evenings to unfold without interruption or haste. Ai Piani succeeds because it respects both its cuisine and its guests. It is a restaurant built on consistency, care and intelligence rather than displays. A place that earns loyalty through quality and grace, and one I still think of as a reference point for dining in Rome
