14/05/2025: I was hungry, so I went to a place near my accommodation with many Google reviews and good scores without looking at many reviews, but I highly recommend it. There were about 10 people waiting in line in front of the store, and when someone who seemed to be the owner suddenly told me to come in, I wondered what was going on, and as expected, he guided me to an empty seat right in front of the bathroom. The bathroom smelled a little, and there was a shelf right behind the chair where the employees were putting away their cutlery, so it was uncomfortable while eating. There were a lot of people in the store, and the employees were a bit crazy, but they were friendly. The vongole was very bland, but the margherita pizza was a bit salty, so the balance was pretty good. While eating, I looked up reviews of the store, and I read some reviews of racism, and I wondered if I had been subjected to it too. Did they give me a bad seat without even asking if I wanted to sit here? When I paid, the owner was at the counter, and even when I greeted him, he chewed my food. This was the worst service I've ever had. If I hadn't met the owner, I think I would have given it 3 or 4 stars.

06/05/2025: An unforgettable experience. This restaurant offers spectacular views of Lake Castel Gandolfo, which makes every meal even more special. I tried the carbonara with mushrooms, a dish with a unique and creamy flavour, and the tagliatelle with pears on top, a surprising and delicious combination. Among the various appetizers, we tasted both land and sea ones, both incredibly tasty and well presented. Furthermore, it is possible to visit their cellar, a real treasure with thousands of bottles of wine, ranging from every vintage and including labels signed by many celebrities. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere relaxing, perfect for an evening with family. I highly recommend trying it, it's really worth it!"

11/05/2025: The dishes are excellent, the dosage of condiments is perfect but the first course of ravioli was a little poor, taking into account that it is the most expensive first course on the menu. Regarding the second, however, I was amazed by the quality of the meat and the skill in cooking it. The service was a little too pushy and uncomfortable (I don't mean the guy who just started), but also very fast. The prices are high, but in relation to the culinary quality they are fair. I'll be back as soon as possible.

Cacio e pepe and truffle and sliced ​​with rocket and parmesan, all delicious. The house red is good. I'll be back for pizza and beer.

The environment is very pleasant but for the rest it is rubbish. Tasteless and disappointing cuisine. I advise gourmets to go elsewhere.......

05/05/2025: After a walk around Rome, we stopped by chance at the Maracuja tavern for dinner. There were six of us and it was an excellent choice. Wonderful staff, especially Mr Daniel, and truly exquisite food. Everything was top! As an appetizer we had the inevitable bruschetta, cheeses, ham and salami – all fresh and tasty. Pasta, gnocchi, pizza... all delicious. The atmosphere was made even more pleasant by the interesting and friendly conversation with the waiter. Our children continued to talk about him even on the long journey home. An excellent experience. To anyone heading to the Colosseum, we highly recommend a stop at Maracuja – you won't regret it! After a walk through Rome, we stopped by chance at *Maracuja* for dinner. There were six of us, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The staff was wonderful, especially Mr. Daniel, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was top notch! The menu was superb: refined, abundant dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Without exaggerating, we can say that the cuisine of Chalet del Lago is the best in Anguillara. Each course was a success, accompanied by a careful presentation and authentic flavors that won everyone over. 07/05/2025: Came here twice on my short trip, the food was DELICIOUS. So nice to see a family owned restaurant and the older couple making the food in the kitchen. Truly a local gem with great food and service. I hope to come back!

06/05/2025: Pasta and tiramisu were nothing special. The pizza was burnt on the edge, but the dough tasted quite good. The service clearly needs improvement. The menu was thrown onto the table in passing without a word. After that it took a relatively long time for someone to take the order. The wine bottle was also carelessly placed on the table without at least pouring a glass or even checking whether it was good. The 2 tiramisu glasses were brought on a large plate. We had to take it from the plate ourselves. Nothing dramatic, but just not good service. In general, things seem to be rather chaotic. Maybe it was also because it was well attended. The boss himself seems to be more service-oriented, but unfortunately we weren't served by him.
