01/06/2025: I had the opportunity, with my family, to taste: the pizza, good, well-seasoned and digestible, the first courses, from ravioli with ricotta to tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage, excellent. But we were also enthusiastic about the second courses. Welcoming staff and very clean place. Recommended for those who stop in Tagliacozzo.

29/05/2025: Historic place, the interior with a period boisserie, never changed since I was a child in the 70s, is always enchanting. The last time I was there I was with some foreign colleagues, who really appreciated the pasta (6 dishes for four people!), while I have always gone there Solone only for the pizza. A pleasant discovery after many years. Pleasant and friendly service, never too intrusive.

27/05/2025: We sat outside and it was a nice little dead-end street with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and food was decent, very good pizza but the rest we shared (some appetizers and starters) were just okay.

19/05/2025: I really had a great time. The dishes were spectacular, very good and prepared in an excellent way. I will definitely come again with friends and family. The meat, especially the FIORENTINA, was fantastic. The staff was very kind and polite. I had the pleasure of meeting the CHEF, one of the best people there is, in addition to the dishes he cooks. A very good guy. He will certainly go a long way in the kitchen. I hope to always find the same quality in the food and environment. You really feel at home. Everything is fantastic!!!

14/05/2025: Food was good but they will charge you for nothing. Be prepared to pay 4 euros for a napkin or 2 euros for a tablecloth. Only way to put it.

18/05/2025: We had a very good carbonara, really tasty and well prepared. However, the service at the end left something to be desired. After asking for the bill, we waited about 15 minutes. When we asked for the bill again, the waiter came back very rudely, already with the card machine in his hands. I just held up my cell phone to pay, and he left without thanking me, nor did he offer me a copy of my card. This type of attitude ends up compromising the good experience we had with the food.

04/06/2025: Excellent gluten-free cuisine!!! The pizza was really delicious, the staff very friendly, witty and kind. Francesco, the owner, is very nice and the waiters are delicious. I will definitely go back and more! I recommend it to all celiacs (and not)!

03/05/2025: Di solito quando recensisco su TripAdvisor non sono così schematico ma credo che renda meglio il mio pensiero. La premessa è che sono stato bene ed ho mangiato del buon pesce. PRO - location rustica ma molto caratteristica; - servizio cordiale ed efficiente (ci sono stato a pranzo in un giorno festivo ma l'attesa è stata accettabilissima) - menù interessantissimo, con pesce fresco lavorato bene (Leggermente) CONTRO - le porzioni non sono insufficienti ma per il tipo di offerta qualcosa in più sarebbe stato auspicabile - il prezzo mi sembra più in linea con un ristorante di fascia più alta - occhio agli spicchi d'aglio...

01/05/2025: We spent 35 days in Italy on vacation a n d this was the best restaurant of our trip. Spectacular service with a good dose of humor. The ravioli stuffed with burrata was the best pasta dish i ever had. Bravo!!

08/05/2025: Siamo al limite di Roma, dove la Cassia ti porta fuori, ma sei ancora nel pieno del traffico della capitale. Trovarlo non è stato facile, ma segnalato da amici ci siamo riusciti e alla fine con soddisfazione. Sapevamo di poter trovare piatti tipici e così abbiamo ordinato : carbonara (voto 10), trippa alla romana (voto 10, ci fosse stata avremmo dato anche 11) e poi non poteva mancare il carciofo alla giudia (voto 9). Sempre dietro consiglio abbiamo preso il vino della casa , di provenienza Marche, veramente un ottimo accompagnatore per tutte le portate. Davvero piacevole esperienza e molto consigliato

13/04/2025: Fairytale atmosphere: the lit fireplace, the windows with decorated glass, the stone walls... everything brings to mind the medieval era and makes you feel like you are in another era. But as soon as we move on to the cuisine, the journey moves into the truest Roman tradition: Tonnarelli with cheese and pepper, oxtail, Roman tripe, Jewish artichokes... A triumph of authentic flavors. Everything excellent. And for those who love to accompany good food with a glass of wine, you will certainly not be disappointed here.

04/05/2025: The cashier, after having printed the receipt, rounded the bill up, justifying it as a tip and replying rudely when I asked for clarification. Furthermore, considering that we paid by card, I wonder how they justify that excess price which does not correspond to the receipt. It doesn't matter that the surplus was around 50 cents, because leaving a tip is the customer's free choice. Furthermore, I would never have let him have it considering the extremely slow and inattentive service: we had to ask four times for a cocktail to arrive, which despite being on the menu the waitress didn't know about, after the others had already received their wine more than 20 minutes ago. Ps: perhaps the owner will respond to this review by writing that everything didn't happen. Too bad that our table was made up of 6 people, all able to report the same version as me.

17/05/2025: An historic Roman taverna still retaining an authentic atmosphere. The food is excellent, a variety of dishes for everyone, seasonal and everything is freshly made in-house including the pasta and the desserts. I highly recommend stopping by the Volpetti Taverna for lunch or dinner and visiting the Volpetti Salumerie for an aperative and for carefully selected produce to buy and take away.
