The restaurant is white and lit with warm lights, with plenty of seating, including outside. You can choose between thick and thin pizzas, and there's a wide selection. The pizza is excellent, as are the burgers. Ascolan olives are excellent, as are the suppli. We go often.

One of our trusted pizzerias, excellent Roman pizza, friendly and attentive staff, and a fairly reasonable bill. Highly recommended.

First of all, there's air conditioning, an indispensable luxury in the Roman summer. It's a place where attention to detail is still paid, from the waiter's smile when you ask a question to the volume of the music that creates the right atmosphere. And the pizza dispettosa I ordered was wonderful, a pleasant surprise. A wonderful place, highly recommended.

Excellent pizza and appetizers. There's also a considerable variety of pizzas to choose from, both deep and shallow.

I've been going to Peperoncino Dispettoso for many, many years. We've celebrated birthdays here, had class pizza parties, and had post-theater dinners. I even sent my kids there alone with their friends when they were little, recommending them to the waiter, who had no problem at all. The place is very spacious, with a large covered outdoor area equipped with fans in the summer and "mushrooms" in the winter. Thirty years ago, there was a gas station here. The wood-fired pizza is delicious and comes in two styles: Roman or Neapolitan. The fried foods are delicious and unusually light. There's plenty of choice beyond pizzeria food, and the "specials of the day" change daily. I've often gotten pizza to go and sipped a crisp draft beer while waiting. Not the cheapest. Prices are average for the area and still well spent. The waiters are very friendly. Parking is impossible.

Go there for a pizza, but I wouldn't recommend anything else. We went twice, and the second time was one too many. The outdoor area is noisy. The pizzas are good, though.
