28/08/2025: We were seated immediately and given water, but that was the only positive part of the experience. We then waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally arrived, there was no welcome, no explanation of the menu—just a curt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told the sommelier would come by, but after another 15 minutes no one ever showed up. At that point, we gave up. In total, we sat from 8:45 to 9:20 and had nothing but water. Meanwhile, every other table seemed to have 3–4 staff attending to them, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. When we explained we were leaving, the response was dismissive and full of attitude. We’ve dined at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, and the service has been outstanding everywhere else. Here, it was the worst experience of our trip. Honestly, the pizza place across the street that we settled on was far more welcoming and ultimately enjoyable.

28/08/2025: From the moment we arrived, the experience was confusing and unwelcoming. The restaurant doors were locked with no instructions on how to enter, and there was nobody at the reception area to greet us. We were seated right away once we got inside and given water, but oddly, it was placed on a side table out of reach, leaving us to get up and refill our own glasses since nobody came back to do it for us. After that, we sat for more than 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. I tried to make eye contact several times and couldn’t even meet eyes with a single employee. When a server finally did come over, there was no warmth or hospitality, just a blunt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told they take your food order first at this restaurant, which was weird considering the table next to us had wine and food menus when we sat down. We were told by the server that a sommelier would come by after placing the food order, but no one ever did. Instead, another staff member dropped off a few breadsticks after 30+ minutes with no drinks or food, with no acknowledgment of the missing drink order, curtly told me to move my menu out of his way. I explained it was still there because I hadn’t been able to order a drink, but he couldn’t have cared less. The entire interaction felt dismissive and rude. All the while, other tables had multiple staff members hovering over them, making the lack of attention to us even more glaring. When we finally decided to leave, the staff’s response was apathetic at best, and again, delivered with attitude. We’ve visited several Michelin restaurants across Italy, and the service has always been extraordinary. This, however, was the worst dining experience of our trip. For a restaurant with such a reputation, the indifference and rudeness were shocking. In the end, the casual pizza place across the street treated us far better and was infinitely more enjoyable.

23/08/2025: Refined and well-executed Roman cuisine. A magnificent setting overlooking the city. Friendly and attentive service. Special mentions for the carbonara and the truffle cacio e pepe.

04/08/2025: Decilious and tasty food. The service was very good and what i would expect from a fine dining restaurant. The portions were a tad on the small side.

03/09/2025: The best restaurant in Garbatella, hands down, for product quality and value. Excellent seafood and consistently friendly service. Perfect for events, too. I personally organized my daughter's baptism and my mother's 60th birthday, both of which were a complete success. The takeout service is also excellent.

06/09/2025: Move on. First, the waitresses judge you if you have the misfortune to remove the meat from a dish in a restaurant that claims to be vegan. Second, the dishes are not finished; the pizza bases are good, but the toppings are terrible. An extra buffalo cheese will simply be cheese grated on your dish. Furthermore, they order the wrong ones and don't even apologize for their incompetence. Finally, the chocolate mousse is just a sour cream that tastes like anything but chocolate. We were very respectful, so this service is not acceptable.

06/09/2025: We went once and it was nice. However, the second time we went, it was awful. First, it took ages for our orders to be taken and to arrive, and the waitress JUDGED us when we asked for something to be taken off the pizza. The pizza dough is nice but the rest didn’t follow and wasn’t great. The lasagna was also not great. Not to mention the waitress who did not flash a single smile.

29/06/2025: I went there last night, but when I arrived I found another restaurant, with another name and another management, where I ate badly, tasteless food and small portions.

31/08/2025: Stumbled across this pizza place while walking and WOW - best pizza we’ve had here in Italy. We’ve tried multiple places each day and nothing beats the flavor of these pizzas. Very friendly staff and welcoming too! Highly recommend!

30/08/2025: Last night my daughter took us to Mizzon for dinner (let me start by saying we went there in July last year, which was delicious, and then at the end of August last year, which was really poor, with the excuse that it was late and there were a lot of us). Yesterday I was with my family, and we gave it another try. It's true that I'm picky, and so is my family, because I cook very well and always focus on quality and freshness, and my children call me "the fool," but yesterday we were disappointed, despite the kindness of the owners, the efficiency of the staff, and the beauty of the place. We chose the mixed seafood appetizer, which was nothing special, edible, except for the sautéed mussels, which was not bad. Then for the first course, the paccheri with monkfish. The sauce was too red (in fact, it wasn't fresh tomato) and overpowered the flavor of the fish, and the paccheri didn't please. It's a shame I had high expectations. The spaghetti with clams was lukewarm and bland, and the desserts were quite good. Disappointed, when I head to the seaside I expect delicious dishes, and when I eat them my eyes start to turn into hearts... I forgot the prices are in line with the prices of the seaside area.

27/08/2025: My husband and I were there last night, and I can assure you we ate very well. I recommend the grilled swordfish with pistachios. Compliments to all the staff, they were very polite.

01/08/2025: The fish menu, ordered through The Fork, was well-priced, and the portions matched the discount. I expected better, but overall it was adequate.

31/07/2025: I ate here with my girlfriend and I had a terrible experience. First of all, the place is nice, but nothing more. It's classic 80s dishes with average ingredients, but they charge for the first course. We asked the owner for recommendations, and he offered us two first courses and a raw fish appetizer. They were good, but nothing special. The problem was when the bill arrived! For two, we spent €200 with a wine. I should point out that a first course costs €30, and the area where the restaurant is located is inconvenient for parking. Go here if you want to eat fish from the subway at very high prices. If you want quality ingredients, I prefer to go to Micalusi, for example, or to La Marina in Fiumicino, where you spend less and definitely get better fish.

10/08/2025: A rotisserie pizzeria in the Prati area, ideal for quick meals, even at their tables. They offer super-sized pizzas, various delicious suppli, first courses, second courses, and side dishes. They also do takeout. Affordable prices, not a very large place, but functional. I recommend trying it. I've always had a good experience.

18/08/2025: Entering this restaurant after exploring Viterbo's historic center for lunch on August 15th was as comforting as arriving at a desert oasis. The extremely kind waiter led us to an elegant, softly lit room featuring creative table settings with attention to detail. The dishes we chose showcased quality ingredients and refined presentation. From the mixed appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious and original. A seafood first course and a guinea fowl terrine were brought together with just the right amount of anticipation. The desserts were delicious: gelato in a pool of blueberries cooked in wine, and mint mousse in a chocolate shell. Excellent wine and beer. I hadn't seen coffee in a cup with a lid in a long time. The prices were reasonable for the food and the hospitality. My heartfelt congratulations for your hard work, done with care and passion.

25/07/2025: Just one place I would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you're traveling to Rome or this part of the city. We went there twice during our three days here, and the first time was such a pleasant surprise, not only for the exceptional value for money, but also for the kindness and wonderful smiles of their staff! The owner took the time to make us laugh and passionately recommend his products, which was very much appreciated. He also offered us desserts and then served us glasses of their house wine filled to the brim! 😅 In short, a restaurant like few others in a city like few others 🤯

24/07/2025: We were originally headed to a different restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge, but as we walked past Il Fiammifero Strano, we struck up a conversation with the owner. Before we knew it, we were seated at a table — and we’re so glad we stayed. As many have mentioned, the owner is a true character, full of entertaining stories about the food, the wine, and his own adventures. His personality added a unique charm to the evening. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious, and although the dessert menu looked fantastic, we were too full to try it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you're in the area!

08/07/2025: A little more expensive than the surrounding restaurants, but the slight price difference is worth it. The classics are mastered to perfection, and the less traditional dishes are surprising. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable. In the heart of the Trastevere district, a quieter area than the historic center.

01/09/2025: It was my first time at this stunning location, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting to celebrate B&M's wedding. Everything was perfect: the harmonious blend of two different religions, two equally different languages, a wonderful sunny day, and the impeccable management of the wedding planners, Ursula and Eleonora, made this ceremony truly unique and special. An experience I will cherish forever.

04/09/2025: Today was a messy and tiring day from the start, but eating here made it the perfect day. It was the best meal I've had in Rome. I went for lunch and it was so delicious that I went again for dinner this evening. I think delicious food and a friendly smile really make people happy👍🏻 Everything was delicious, but the dish in the second photo, the risotto with squid and mussels, was the best! 27/08/2025: The best meal we've had in Rome. The menu is small but carefully curated. We ordered the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a rich, smoky sauce that balanced the flavours beautifully. For dessert, we enjoyed a mascarpone mousse atop a fresh strawberry glaze. The whole experience was enjoyable and look forward to visiting again.
