31/03/2025: terrible experience: the waiter welcomed us by presenting us with the menu (already poor in itself) and telling us that 3 or 4 dishes were not available (Sunday evening at 9pm). With the little choice we have left we order the first courses. Meanwhile, they bring us welcome plates and bread (which we hadn't ordered, but despite this we find it in the final bill). The pasta arrives with an explanation of the dish, but of all the flavors listed there is only one that dominates them all, furthermore the spaghetti was raw at the tip. You should inform the chef that the spaghetti needs to be turned. in any case, once we finished the pasta we got up and went to pay very dissatisfied. In conclusion, excellent cuisine... for tourists.

27/03/2025: Very nice authentic restaurent, very tasty food, the old granpa of the familly is still arround, he collected matchboxes left by customers and framed them on the walls, therefore the name of the restaurent ;-)

08/03/2025: Una vera chicca: cibo squisito, atmosfera raffinata ma familiare, prezzi equi. Tagliolini al limone e ragù di chianina e antipasto di vitello affumicato con carciofi divini. Eccellente scelta di vini. Mi chiedo come sia possibile che una perla come questa sia così poco popolare. Veramente non me lo spiego.

08/03/2025: A real gem: exquisite food, refined but familiar atmosphere, fair prices. Lemon tagliolini and Chianina ragù and smoked veal appetizer with divine artichokes. Excellent choice of wines. I wonder how it is possible that a pearl like this is so unpopular. I really can't explain it.

11/04/2025: The place is eccentric and you have to like it, I liked it. Star for value for a waiter particularly dedicated to the culture of raw meat and oysters. A truly wonderful experience in addition to the high satisfaction with food and value for money. Truly highly recommended, we will definitely be back. Attentive to every single tiny need. I'm only giving 5 stars because I can't give 10.

05/04/2025: Place that lives up to expectations, comfortable location, quality food with generous doses and attention to the customer. Very honest prices, polite and friendly welcome. The thing that I personally appreciated and which is not at all obvious was the welcome and the fact that Marco, the owner, did not rush our time at all, on the contrary he treated us like guests rather than simple customers. I recommend it to those who love to treat themselves to a moment of relaxation in a magical corner, naturalistically speaking, and to those who love to pamper themselves with good food in good company. Treat yourself to the greatest luxury of our times: time for yourself and those you care about, go and visit Marco, you will feel calm and happy.

10/04/2025: I had the alfredo black truffle and the lamb. I had the truffle first and suffered through that dish. The sause was weak and the flavor was unappealing. The truffles weren't necessary for my cup of tea, but on the whole, when you combine the flavors, it was terrible. Luckily, I had ordered the lamb, and it was good enough to wash the taste of the pasta out of my mouth. It also comes to the table on a sizzling plate, which was fun. The service was extremely slow. I had to wait 45 minutes between course (appetizer (which was literally just bread and yet took them forever to give to me) to pasta course to meat course). I had to ask for the water I ordered and also for them to remove plates from my table as I received additional food. The waiters were nice enough, though. TLDR: bad pasta dish, good meat dish, slow and very inattentive service. Go somewhere else.

09/04/2025: The service was excellent, they were super friendly with us. I ordered a pesto lasagna which was wonderful, I think it was the best I've ever had.

16/02/2025: Decisamente uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai mangiato, infatti ci torno spesso. Non metto 5 stelle perché l’ultima volta che ci siamo stati abbiamo ‘osato’ chiedere le alici fritte (spettacolari) senza il pecorino a cui erano abbinate nel menu, e gli spaghetti con le vongole (superlativi) senza la verza, e la proprietaria ci ha simpaticamente risposto che forse era il caso ‘di cambiare ristorante’ (parole testuali) rovinandoci un po’ l’atmosfera della serata. (Abbiamo fatto una cosa così grave ? 😅). I ragazzi dello staff invece eccellenti da ogni punto di vista.

17/03/2025: Good typical trattoria located in a beautiful square right under the walls of the Odescalchi-Orsini castle in Bracciano. Friendly and courteous management, good starters, first courses, second courses and also desserts, all well presented. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

02/03/2025: Elegant restaurant at the foot of the castle for a romantic evening without giving up truly good rustic dishes. The glass of "Mascalzone" red wine is also excellent to accompany a rich platter and an excellent carbonara with truffle. Abundant dishes and punctual service. The waiters are also kind. 21/02/2025: My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for dinner. I must say that we found a quiet and warm environment thanks to the welcome of Domenico and his brother who kindly accompanied us to the table. The tables are well set, the room is very clean, the music in the background creates a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is very vast, the starters are good, the dishes are refined but at the same time faithful to the origins and memories of the chefs. Different choice of first and second courses, both sea and mountain. Lastly we tasted the desserts, very good and freshly prepared. The wine list is also very assorted. The service was attentive and kind and excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant, I'm sorry I didn't compliment the chefs in the kitchen in person. Thanks again see you soon

10/04/2025: Excellent food! The margherita pizza is very good as is the tiramisu. We had dinner for 3 people, we ordered three pizzas, two cokes, a water, three tiramisu and two espressos, we spent 70 euros (including table service)

24/03/2025: Excellent trattoria, where it is possible to take a nice "journey" into the most authentic flavors of Tuscia. The place, welcoming and comfortable, does not have many tables so it is wise to book in advance. The choice is not very wide and this is a further note of merit: everything presented is carefully prepared. As for personal experience, the meatballs, guinea fowl, crostini with lard and coratella were delicious, accompanied by local wines (the red Seiano was excellent). Highly recommended

10/04/2025: an excellent experience: kept simple, beautiful place by the lake. Very friendly service! The food is delicate: rabbit ragout with nuts on fettucine. Delicious ! Then bacala on chickpea puree, with fennel salad. Also very well prepared! Full recommendation! Ate there a total of 3 times. Different dishes every time, it's fun. Boss very warm and approachable
