09/11/2025: We had good and not too expensive fish dishes, the atmosphere is a bit noisy, the neighborhood is authentic and interesting, parking is complicated, however the place is worth at least a visit, recommended

26/10/2025: Much better outside, with its retro neighborhood charm and tastefully decorated patio; inside, a bit impersonal, but the food is the best: a well-executed Roman take on seafood, every dish a delight. The only flaw is the usual, unimaginative desserts. But the value is excellent.

12/09/2025: The chef has changed; now they're more focused on showcasing local products and cuisine, but the food is still top-notch. Excellent service under the guidance of the longtime maître d', always attentive to the customer and whose choices you can rely on. The location is incredible: views from the castles over much of Rome. The sunset, on clear days, is unforgettable. The prices aren't cheap, but they seem reasonable. It's not the first time we've dined there with family and friends, and we've never left disappointed.

20/10/2025: Stunning view of the lake with amazing food and really lovely service!! We had the ravioli, octopus, white wine, caprese and even made room for dessert and drinks. All of it — absolutely outstanding!! 🤌✨ Definitely worth a little stop if you’re visiting this town to see some gorgeous lake views. Family owned and operated by a lovely Sardinian couple and their son. Hands down the best mozzarella any of us have ever had in that caprese, so so so good!!

07/11/2025: We tried, and thoroughly enjoyed, the grilled porcini mushrooms with Castelmagno cheese and the Prussian beef with cardoncelli ragù on a potato disc. The Amarone was good. This historic restaurant (1973) deserved a visit a long time ago and a lovely review, which is too often neglected when you're having a good time, when it seems more fun to write negative reviews, when you just have to erase them if they're getting old, very, very badly. (Forgive the digression.) We'll definitely return.

25/10/2025: I visited Trattoria Volpetta in Rome and I must say it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service attentive, and the dishes were meticulously prepared. I enjoyed the food—everything was fresh, with authentic, well-balanced flavors—but what really surprised me was the gorgonzola semifreddo: an original, refined, and perfectly executed dessert, combining creaminess and character in a truly unique way. That alone is worth the visit!

22/11/2025: La Taverna dei Frati is a restaurant located in SORIANO nel CIMINO, in the province of VITERBO. The restaurant is housed in a former monastery, which offers a charming atmosphere. In the summer, it also offers a terrace with panoramic views of the city. The dishes served are carefully prepared and of excellent quality. Among the most popular are dishes such as strozzapreti all'aglione, puff pastry with porcini mushrooms and taleggio cheese, and dishes featuring typical local products such as chestnuts. The staff is also friendly, professional, and attentive. The restaurant is easy to find and close to convenient parking. Good value for money. Recommended. 👍

03/11/2025: I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, and when I got a bonus on a website (mentioned in the photo), I thought — why not make it a tasty evening? Ordered a pizza — fragrant, flavorful, with fresh ingredients. The mood was great, dinner was a success. Sometimes these spontaneous choices bring the most joy!

11/10/2025: I came with my family, the fried foods are delicious, as are the pizzas, although I'm personally very selective with my food, so I had a few problems.

12/11/2025: Yesterday evening I was in this restaurant. It was so good that I regretted not taking photos, but the chickpea soup with chestnuts, the arrosticini and the tagliata were really good. I recommend it.

We had tagliolini with butter and parmesan, which was fabulous (you can add truffle, which we did). A broccoli and anchovy gnocchi was equally fantastic. An excellent fried calamari and shrimp dish. A children's menu consisted of penne with tomato sauce, chicken cutlet with potatoes, both equally delicious, and ice cream. The penne had a white version, and although the sauce was also delicious, next time my daughter will have them white because she stole her dad's tagliolini. I've never had tagliolini that looked so simple but tasted so good. A bottle of water and a glass of wine. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a view of the lake and the village of Anguillara, you could go straight down to the beach. Nice and friendly staff and owner. The costs are honest enough to allow you to return more frequently. Pleasant last minute discovery since it was already late, we will certainly become loyal customers.
